Information used for tracking

When you submit a tracking number, the server sends it to the relevant tracking data provider to return shipment information. The number is also added to the page address so the result can be opened again after a refresh or shared with another person. Anyone who receives that link can see and use the tracking number, and the address may remain in browser history.

Tracking request history

To measure service quality, identify invalid entries, and investigate provider errors, 11Tracking may keep a private server-side record of a tracking request. The record can include the tracking number in encrypted form, a one-way keyed hash, a masked version, carrier, result category, provider, form location, response time, and timestamp. Shipment-event details and package locations are not copied into this request history. Access is restricted to site administration.

Technical and security data

Hosting systems may process IP address, browser information, timestamps, requested pages, and security logs to deliver the site, prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, and investigate errors. Because the tracking number is part of a shareable page address, it may appear in server request logs. Cross-site referrer data is restricted to the 11Tracking origin.

Cookies and browser storage

The core web tracker does not need an account and does not store the full tracking number in local storage. Hosting security, consent or analytics tools may use cookies or similar browser data when those services are enabled.

Analytics

11Tracking uses Google Tag Manager and may use Google Analytics to measure page views, form interactions, carrier categories, success states, and error types. Analytics receives the canonical page address without the tracking-number query parameter. Full tracking numbers, names, addresses, emails, package locations, and shipment-event details are not added to analytics event fields. Shareable tracking URLs are marked for search engines not to index.

Service providers

Hosting, tracking data, security, analytics and carrier-data providers process limited information to operate the website. Their processing is governed by their own terms and applicable agreements.

App-store and external links

Links to Google Play, the App Store and official carrier websites take you to third-party services. Those services receive the normal technical information associated with opening a link and apply their own privacy policies.

Contact messages

If you email 11Tracking, we process the address and message content needed to answer the request. Do not send passwords, payment details, identity documents or a full tracking number unless it is necessary for a technical investigation.

Retention

Detailed tracking request records are normally deleted after 30 days. Number-free daily statistics may be retained for longer reporting periods. Temporary tracking response caches and rate-limit records may be retained for short operational periods. Contact messages are retained as needed to answer the inquiry, keep appropriate records, and meet legal obligations.

Your choices

Do not share a tracking link publicly if you want to keep the shipment number private. You can remove the ?tracking=... part of the address, avoid submitting a number, or contact the carrier directly. Depending on your location, you may have rights to ask about, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data.
