How to track a TopYou shipment
- Open the official TopYou trajectory query.
- Enter the tracking number or waybill number supplied for the shipment.
- Read the latest TopYou status as a recorded logistics state, not as a stronger conclusion about custody, customs release, local-carrier possession, personal receipt, or refund.
- If a downstream carrier or second number later appears, verify it in that operator's own official tracking system before treating the handoff as established.
- If the public TopYou query produces no usable result, verify the exact carrier attribution and logistics identifier with the seller or marketplace before assuming loss or fraud.
Tongyou's current service-query page uses the term 运单号 (waybill number), while the public tracking interface uses 跟踪号 (tracking number). For a recipient, the practical rule is the same: use the shipment identifier that the merchant, marketplace, or logistics record specifically associates with TopYou.
TopYou, TOPYOU, Tongyou and TONGYOU: what is the same — and what is not
Current Tongyou platform material tells sellers to select or search TOPYOU / Topyou for Tongyou logistics services on marketplace workflows. eBay's current Greater China shipping-policy page also lists Topyou as an integrated carrier name.
The current corporate website, however, prominently uses TONGYOU as an English corporate or marketing rendering for 通邮集团.
For tracking purposes, keep those roles separate:
| Name or term | Safe interpretation |
|---|---|
| TopYou / TOPYOU / Topyou | The public marketplace/tracking identity tied to Tongyou / 通邮 |
| Tongyou / 通邮 / 通邮集团 | The company/group identity behind the logistics operation |
| TONGYOU | Current English corporate/marketing rendering used on the official Tongyou corporate site |
| TopLink | A Tongyou technology-system name, not a carrier alias |
This page therefore uses TopYou/TOPYOU for the shipment-facing logistics identity and Tongyou/TONGYOU when referring to the corporate context.
Which number should you use?
Use the TopYou tracking/waybill identifier supplied for your shipment.
Do not treat these as automatically interchangeable:
marketplace order number
≠ automatically a TopYou tracking number
one historical service-format example
≠ a universal current TopYou format
Older official TopYou service pages used different number patterns for different platform/service contexts. That historical variation is useful for one reason: it shows why a single prefix, suffix, length, or regular expression should not be treated as a universal TopYou rule.
A number that happens to resemble an old example also does not prove that TopYou owns the shipment. The stronger evidence is that the current TopYou system recognizes the identifier and returns a record consistent with the shipment.
If you are unsure which number to use, start with How to Find and Verify a Tracking Number.
What TopYou tracking statuses actually prove
The current public TopYou tracker exposes broad categories for a parcel's trajectory. Those labels are useful, but each one has an evidence ceiling.
| TopYou status | What it can confirm | What it does not confirm by itself | Next decisive evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Not found / no data | The current public query produced no usable displayed result | Fake seller, fake shipment, permanent invalidity, loss, or that the parcel was never shipped | Verify the exact carrier and logistics identifier with the seller/marketplace, then retry the official tracker |
| First-leg inbound | A first-leg inbound/warehouse-entry type state is reported | A complete chain of custody or the identity of every physical custodian | Later attributable first-leg handling or outbound/transfer evidence |
| First-leg outbound | A first-leg outbound state is reported | Which airline, linehaul operator, or next carrier has physically accepted the parcel | The next attributable transport or partner event |
| In transit | TopYou reports the shipment as moving through its logistics chain | Continuous GPS location, a guaranteed ETA, or one known current physical custodian | Destination-country, customs, or downstream-acceptance evidence |
| Arrived in destination country | A destination-country arrival state is reported | Customs release, local-carrier acceptance, last-mile possession, delivery readiness, or imminent delivery | A named downstream operator, local tracking record, or that operator's acceptance event |
| In customs clearance | A clearance-stage state is reported | Clearance completed, duties necessarily owed, seizure, or TopYou acting as the customs authority | A customs/broker request, release/clearance result, or onward movement |
| Delivered / signed / received | TopYou reports a completion-style delivery state | Named-recipient personal receipt, exact placement, item condition, or proof that TopYou itself made the final delivery | Delivery/POD evidence from the responsible final-delivery system where available |
| Delivery exception | A delivery-stage exception is reported | One universal cause, retry count, redelivery rule, claim entitlement, or final-carrier identity | The detailed exception and the responsible delivery operator's current action |
| Return | A return state or reverse movement is reported | Merchant receipt, item matching, refund approval, or refund posting | Return delivery/intake evidence and then the merchant or marketplace's commercial record |
These are evidence boundaries, not alternative translations of every raw TopYou event. The public category tells you where the tracking system places the shipment; a stronger conclusion requires a stronger record.
“Arrived in destination country” does not mean the local carrier has it
This is one of the easiest TopYou states to over-read.
Arrived in destination country can be useful evidence that the shipment has reached a destination-country stage in TopYou's tracking system. It does not automatically establish:
- customs release;
- acceptance by the destination postal operator;
- acceptance by a commercial last-mile carrier;
- possession by a delivery driver;
- availability for pickup;
- an imminent delivery date.
Tongyou's own company description explains why that distinction matters: its cross-border model works with airlines, postal companies, customs-clearance agents, and delivery companies. A parcel can therefore cross a country boundary before the evidence establishes which downstream actor has item-level custody.
The better question is:
What independent record proves that the next operator has accepted this parcel?
Look for a named downstream carrier, a local tracking number recognized by that carrier, or an item-level acceptance/handling event in the downstream system.
If the handoff becomes explicit, use Handed to Local Carrier or Find the Last-Mile Carrier and Local Tracking Number.
How to tell when a local carrier has taken over
Do not infer a local carrier from the destination country alone.
A stronger handoff chain looks like this:
TopYou says destination country reached
≠ local-carrier possession
local carrier is named or a local number appears
= useful attribution evidence
but
≠ physical acceptance by itself
the downstream carrier recognizes the item
+ records item-level acceptance/handling
= stronger evidence that the local operator now controls that custody state
Tongyou's technology material describes systems capable of working with trajectory nodes that include final logistics providers. That does not prove that every unauthenticated public TopYou result exposes the final carrier, a second tracking number, or all internal trajectory data.
So there is no safe promise that every TopYou shipment will show a second number.
If a local carrier is identified but its own record is not updating, use Local Carrier Not Updating.
What to do when TopYou tracking shows no data
A no-data result is a weak negative signal. It tells you that the current public lookup did not return a usable displayed record in that query state. It does not tell you the cause.
Use this order:
- Copy the identifier from the actual shipment details again. Watch for extra spaces, copied order numbers, or a seller reference that is not the carrier waybill.
- Confirm the carrier attribution. Check whether the merchant or marketplace actually identifies the shipment as TopYou/TOPYOU.
- Ask the seller or marketplace to verify the exact logistics identifier if the record still does not resolve. Marketplace shipment data is created on the commercial side; that is the right place to correct an attribution or identifier mismatch.
- Retry the official TopYou tracker.
- Only after a recognized record exists should you interpret the shipment state.
Do not convert “no data” directly into “lost,” “fake,” or “never shipped.”
For the broader problem, use Tracking Number Not Found.
Customs status: separate TopYou tracking from customs authority
A TopYou in customs clearance state reports a clearance-stage logistics classification. It does not make TopYou the government customs authority.
Tongyou's own company material describes customs-clearance agents as separate actors in its cross-border network. Depending on the shipment and jurisdiction, the next action may belong to a broker, declarant, postal/commercial operator, or customs authority.
Therefore:
TopYou says customs clearance
≠ customs released
TopYou says customs clearance
≠ duties necessarily owed
TopYou says customs clearance
≠ seizure
TopYou says customs clearance
≠ TopYou is the customs authority
If the shipment evidence identifies a customs or broker action request, follow that responsible party's official process. For the generic meaning of the state, use Customs Processing. If the shipment is genuinely stuck in a customs-controlled state, use Package Stuck in Customs.
What does “Delivered” or “signed/received” prove?
TopYou's current public tracker includes a completion-style signed/received category.
That is useful evidence that the tracking system considers the shipment delivered or received at that stage. It is not enough, by itself, to prove:
- the named recipient personally received it;
- the exact delivery location;
- who signed;
- the condition of the item;
- which company physically completed the final-mile handoff.
Because TopYou can participate in a multi-actor chain, the physical delivery may belong to a downstream postal or commercial operator even while the completion state is visible through TopYou's tracking system.
If the shipment says delivered but you do not have it, move to Delivered but Not Received. If the responsible final-delivery system makes a delivery photo, signature, signer, or proof record available, use Proof of Delivery, Photo, or Signature.
A TopYou return status is not a refund status
A carrier return state belongs to the logistics chain. A refund belongs to a merchant, marketplace, or payment system.
Keep these states separate:
TopYou return movement
→ return delivery
→ merchant intake
→ item/order match
→ refund decision
→ refund instruction
→ payment posting
The TopYou tracker can help with the transport portion. It does not decide whether the merchant matched the returned item, approved a refund, or posted money to the original payment method.
If the return movement itself stops, the relevant generic owner may be Return Package Not Updating or Not Received. If merchant receipt is established but the refund remains unresolved, use Returned Package but No Refund.
Who should you contact?
The correct party changes with the evidence.
| Situation | First useful route | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Seller says TopYou, but the tracker has no usable record | Seller or marketplace, then the official TopYou tracker | The commercial system controls the carrier attribution and identifier supplied with the order |
| A TopYou origin or first-leg record is the last reliable evidence | Official TopYou tracker; use Tongyou's current general corporate contact only when appropriate | TopYou owns its own public trajectory record, but the general contact is not documented as a universal recipient claims desk |
| A downstream operator is explicitly identified and records acceptance | That operator's official tracking/support | It now has the stronger record for local custody, attempt, pickup, or delivery action |
| A customs/broker action is identified | The named customs, broker, declarant, postal, or clearance route | A TopYou customs status does not make TopYou the customs authority |
| The parcel is delivered but the recipient disputes receipt | Responsible final-delivery system for POD evidence, plus the appropriate package-problem route | Delivery proof and the physical-delivery record are the next decisive evidence |
| Refund, replacement, or marketplace dispute is primary | Merchant or marketplace | Tracking states do not decide commercial refund or dispute outcomes |
| A current carrier claim route is explicitly provided for this shipment or service | Follow that verified current route and its stated eligibility rules | The reviewed evidence does not establish one universal TopYou recipient claim entitlement |
Tongyou's current main site publishes a general corporate phone number and email. They can be useful as general corporate contact, but the reviewed public evidence does not establish that this contact is a universal recipient claims desk or that every recipient is entitled to open an investigation directly with TopYou.
For the generic actor-routing problem, use Who Should I Contact About a Package?.
Next decisive evidence
When a TopYou timeline is unclear, do not ask only “where is my parcel?” Ask which new record would change the conclusion.
| Current evidence | What is still unknown | Next decisive evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Seller/platform says TopYou, but no tracker result | Correct carrier and identifier | Seller/marketplace verification plus a recognized official TopYou record |
| TopYou tracking/waybill number exists | Physical intake | First attributable operational intake, receipt, or handling evidence |
| First-leg state | Next custodian | Later attributable outbound, transfer, or transport event |
| In transit | Current controlling actor and next transition | Destination-country, customs, or downstream-acceptance event |
| Arrived in destination country | Local-carrier possession | Explicit local operator, recognized local record, or downstream item-level acceptance |
| In customs clearance | Release status or required action | Customs/broker request, clearance result, or onward movement |
| Delivered/signed | Who received it, where, and through which operator | Destination-operator POD or delivery evidence where available |
| Delivery exception | Cause and allowed recovery action | Detailed exception plus responsible local-operator action |
| Return | Merchant intake and commercial outcome | Return delivery/intake record, then merchant/refund record |
This is the central rule for reading TopYou tracking safely:
Use the strongest record you actually have, then look for the next record that can prove the stronger fact.
Frequently asked questions
Is TopYou a real logistics company?
TopYou/TOPYOU is an official logistics service-provider identity tied to Tongyou / 通邮. Tongyou's current platform material uses TOPYOU/Topyou in seller workflows, and eBay's current Greater China policy separately lists Topyou as a carrier name.
That proves the logistics identity is real. It does not authenticate a particular seller, order, or tracking number.
Is TopYou the same as Tongyou?
They are identity-linked, but they appear in different roles. TopYou/TOPYOU is used as the marketplace/tracking-facing logistics identity, while Tongyou / 通邮 / 通邮集团 is the company/group context. The official corporate site also uses TONGYOU as an English rendering.
Is there one standard TopYou tracking-number format?
No universal current TopYou prefix or format is established by the reviewed first-party sources.
Older TopYou service pages used different service-specific patterns. That is evidence against treating one historical example as a universal 2026 rule.
Can I track TopYou with my marketplace order number?
Do not assume so. The current first-party interfaces use tracking number and waybill number terminology. A marketplace order number is a commercial identifier unless the merchant or operator explicitly links it to the logistics record.
Who delivers TopYou parcels in the destination country?
There is no safe universal answer from the TopYou brand alone. Tongyou works with postal and logistics delivery companies, so the destination operator can depend on the service and route.
Treat the downstream carrier as established only when the shipment record, merchant record, or destination operator identifies it and the downstream system recognizes the item.
Will TopYou give me a second or local tracking number?
It may be possible for a shipment to acquire or expose downstream tracking information, but the reviewed current first-party evidence does not prove that the public TopYou tracker always shows a local number.
Do not promise one. Use a second number only when a shipment-level record actually exposes it and the downstream operator recognizes it.
Does “arrived in destination country” mean delivery is close?
Not necessarily. The status does not, by itself, prove customs release, local-carrier acceptance, last-mile possession, or delivery readiness. The next decisive evidence is a customs outcome or an explicit downstream-carrier record.
TopYou says delivered, but I do not have the parcel. What should I do?
Treat the TopYou completion state as tracking evidence, not conclusive proof of personal receipt. Identify the responsible final-delivery operator and obtain any available delivery/POD evidence. Then use Delivered but Not Received for the generic recovery decision.
Can TopYou or 11Tracking change my address or reroute the package?
This page does not establish a universal TopYou reroute/address-change rule. A local delivery operator may have its own options once it is identified.
11Tracking does not contact TopYou, change addresses, reroute parcels, release shipments, clear customs, create scans, or file claims.

- Current general corporate phone: 0755-81819898
- Current general corporate email: contact form
The phone and email above are published on the current Tongyou corporate site. They are listed here only as general corporate contact. The reviewed public evidence does not establish a universal recipient claims entitlement, guaranteed investigation route, or compensation authority through those contact details.
What 11Tracking can — and cannot — do
11Tracking can help you read the tracking evidence and identify which actor or official system is likely to control the next fact.
It cannot authenticate a seller, recover a parcel, create or backfill carrier scans, contact TopYou or a downstream carrier on your behalf, change an address, reroute or release a shipment, clear customs, retrieve private proof of delivery, file or decide a claim, force a refund, or guarantee delivery or scan timing.
Use your real shipment identifier in the relevant tracking lookup. Do not send 11Tracking full addresses, phone numbers, invoices, identity or customs documents, signatures, private delivery proofs, passwords, one-time codes, access credentials, or payment information.
TopYou, TOPYOU, Tongyou, 通邮 and related marks are trademarks or brands of their respective owner. 11Tracking is an independent tracking helper and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Tongyou Group.
Tracking events and delivery estimates come from connected tracking services and carriers. Updates may be delayed, incomplete or revised. 11Tracking does not transport packages and cannot change a delivery.
After you track a parcel, its number is added to the page address so the result can be refreshed or shared. Anyone with that link can use the number, so share it only with people you trust.
