APG ECOMMERCE TRACKING

APG eCommerce Tracking

Track one supported APG eCommerce tracking reference provided by the retailer. APG is an Australia Post-owned cross-border ecommerce network, but an APG reference is not automatically an Australia Post domestic, StarTrack, or Aramex number. Tracking depth depends on the APG service, local-carrier assignment does not prove physical handoff, and customs, duties, delivery changes, proof, returns, and claims can be controlled by different regional entities, retailers, brokers, authorities, and destination carriers.

Spaces and dashes are accepted.

Independent tracking lookup. 11Tracking is not APG eCommerce, Australia Post, StarTrack, or Aramex and cannot manage a delivery. Enter one supported APG eCommerce tracking reference. Retailer order numbers are not promised. Australia Post domestic, StarTrack, Aramex, Sai Cheng, destination-carrier, eReturns, customs, payment, identity, claim, and support references are not available on this form.

Track one supported APG eCommerce tracking reference provided by the retailer. Use the exact APG or retailer-issued carrier reference—not a retailer account login, payment link, identity document, customs file, destination-carrier number, return authorization, Australia Post domestic number, StarTrack number, or Aramex number unless the active provider explicitly supports that exact reference.

APG stands for Australia Post Global eCommerce Solutions and is wholly owned by Australia Post. Ownership does not make APG the Australia Post domestic tracker. APG is also not automatically StarTrack or Aramex, even though its corporate history includes StarTrack International and a former Australia Post–Aramex joint venture.

APG manages cross-border ecommerce through regional companies, origin gateways, postal and parcel products, customs services, contractors, subcontractors, postal operators, and destination-country delivery partners. One APG brand therefore does not identify one legal company or one physical operator for every leg.

Tracking depth depends on the service. APG officially describes ePacket as semi-tracked, ePacket Plus as tracked postal, and eParcel products as fully tracked parcel services. A sparse ePacket timeline should not be interpreted as if it were a fully tracked eParcel route.

Do not upload identity documents, enter card or banking data, submit retailer-account credentials, or follow an unverified SMS or email link through an independent tracking page. Legitimate APG duties, identity, delivery-upgrade, and payment workflows can exist, but they must be verified independently through APG, the retailer, the destination carrier, and the relevant customs authority.

11Tracking can display supported public tracking events. It cannot contact APG or the retailer, change delivery, upload identity, pay duties, clear customs, retrieve protected proof, create a return, file a claim, recover a parcel, or guarantee delivery.

Track one supported APG tracking reference

The official APG tracker asks for Your Tracking Reference. APG’s tracking FAQ tells users to enter the tracking reference provided by the retailer.

Can I track with my retailer order number?

Possibly in some APG workflows, but do not assume it.

Current official APG copy is not fully consistent:

  • the dedicated tracker and tracking FAQ emphasize a tracking reference supplied by the retailer;
  • the Contact page says users can sometimes track with an order number or tracking number.

This can reflect:

  • retailer-specific order mapping;
  • a different APG interface;
  • product or account variation;
  • inconsistent website copy.

The independent form therefore promises only a supported APG tracking reference. Use the carrier reference specifically identified for APG. Keep the retailer order number for merchant support.

Does APG use one tracking-number format?

No universal current official prefix, suffix, length, character set, or regular expression was confirmed across:

  • regional APG entities;
  • retailer systems;
  • postal products;
  • parcel products;
  • returns;
  • destination partners;
  • older APG, StarTrack International, or joint-venture systems.

Do not identify APG from number shape alone.

Can one APG order have several numbers?

Yes, a cross-border order can expose several references:

  1. retailer order number;
  2. APG tracking reference;
  3. postal or parcel item reference;
  4. destination-carrier number;
  5. return reference.

They can represent different systems and stages.

Why can an APG reference show no result?

Possible explanations include:

  • typing or copying error;
  • retailer order entered where only APG reference works;
  • APG reference created before activation;
  • wrong APG provider or alias;
  • local-carrier number entered under APG;
  • Australia Post, StarTrack, or Aramex number entered under APG;
  • return reference entered in the outbound tracker;
  • unsupported product;
  • delayed data synchronization;
  • old record;
  • APG or provider outage.

A no-result response does not, by itself, prove fraud, loss, or that the retailer never shipped.

Check the exact reference in the retailer’s shipping notice and APG’s official tracker. For the wider diagnostic path, see Tracking Number Not Found or Not Active.

APG, Australia Post, StarTrack, and Aramex are not interchangeable trackers

What is APG?

APG eCommerce Solutions is the public brand for Australia Post Global eCommerce Solutions, a cross-border ecommerce logistics group.

APG uses:

  • regional companies;
  • origin gateways;
  • postal products;
  • parcel products;
  • customs representatives;
  • contractors and subcontractors;
  • destination-country postal and commercial carriers;
  • return networks.

Is APG owned by Australia Post?

Yes. Current official APG history and corporate material support Australia Post ownership.

That ownership must remain separate from carrier identity:

Is APG the same as StarTrack?

No.

APG’s corporate history began with StarTrack International. A historical name does not make every current StarTrack parcel an APG shipment or every APG reference a StarTrack number.

Is APG the same as Aramex?

No.

APG passed through Aramex Global Solutions, an Australia Post–Aramex joint venture. Australia Post later acquired full ownership and the business became APG eCommerce Solutions.

Do not enter an Aramex number as APG solely because of that history.

Which APG company handles the shipment?

The applicable regional company can depend on:

  • retailer or APG client;
  • origin;
  • service;
  • contract;
  • APG gateway;
  • destination.

Current official terms expose separate APG entities in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, and other regional contexts.

The recipient is not automatically the APG Client named in those business contracts. The retailer or merchant often owns the commercial relationship.

Does APG physically perform every leg?

No.

Current terms permit use of:

  • contractors;
  • subcontractors;
  • agents;
  • customs representatives;
  • alternate methods;
  • alternate routes;
  • local final-mile carriers.

APG can manage an end-to-end ecommerce service without one APG company physically carrying the parcel from retailer to recipient.

Similar entities are not automatic APG aliases

Do not silently treat these as APG:

  • Australia Post domestic;
  • StarTrack;
  • Aramex;
  • Sai Cheng Logistics;
  • China Post;
  • USPS;
  • Canada Post;
  • Royal Mail;
  • New Zealand Post;
  • DHL;
  • DPD;
  • Evri;
  • another postal or commercial destination carrier;
  • retailer order systems;
  • retailer return portals;
  • customs brokers;
  • unrelated companies using the acronym APG.

Which APG service is involved?

The service determines how much tracking can reasonably appear.

APG service familyOfficial tracking descriptionWhat not to assume
ePacketSemi-tracked postal solutionComplete destination scans, Out for Delivery, or public proof
ePacket PlusTracked postal solutionSame tracking depth as a fully tracked commercial parcel
eParcel PremiumFully tracked parcel using a local final-mile partnerOne universal local carrier or route
eParcel Expedited / ExpressFaster fully tracked parcel optionsOne guaranteed time across every lane, retailer, or customs process
eReturnsLocalized tracked return solutionReturn Delivered equals merchant refund

Why does one APG shipment show more events than another?

Possible reasons include:

  • different APG product;
  • postal versus parcel route;
  • semi-tracked versus fully tracked service;
  • destination-country carrier capability;
  • customs model;
  • retailer contract;
  • local partner;
  • data synchronization.

Do not compare a semi-tracked ePacket route with a fully tracked eParcel route as if missing milestones prove failure.

Is ePacket fully tracked?

No. APG officially describes ePacket as semi-tracked.

A semi-tracked service can expose origin or selected cross-border events without a complete destination timeline.

Is ePacket Plus the same as ePacket?

No.

ePacket Plus is described as a tracked postal product. It still differs from a fully tracked commercial parcel service.

What is eParcel Premium?

APG describes eParcel Premium as a fully tracked parcel service using the best available local final-mile partner for the route.

The partner can vary by country, postcode, retailer, capacity, and service.

Are APG delivery estimates guaranteed?

Do not treat service-page timing examples as universal guarantees.

Transit can depend on:

  • retailer handoff;
  • APG origin processing;
  • export;
  • customs;
  • destination;
  • local partner;
  • working days;
  • exceptions.

The published examples are product summaries, not a promise for every individual order.

What an APG event confirms

APG’s service pages use simplified milestones such as:

  • Processed at origin;
  • International export;
  • Arrived at destination;
  • Cleared from customs;
  • Out for delivery;
  • Delivered.

These are useful evidence families. They are not a complete status dictionary and do not prove that every service emits every milestone.

Does an APG reference mean APG has the parcel?

No.

A retailer can create or transmit:

  • order data;
  • manifest;
  • label;
  • tracking reference;
  • customer notification

before APG or its contractor records origin handling.

Look for a later event such as Processed at origin, accepted, received, or a comparable origin scan.

For the general evidence boundary, see Carrier Received Package, Accepted, or Picked Up.

What does “Processed at origin” mean?

It supports that APG or an origin contractor recorded handling in the origin process.

It does not prove:

  • export customs completed;
  • aircraft departure;
  • continuous movement;
  • destination arrival.

What does “International export” mean?

It records an outbound cross-border stage.

It does not prove:

  • exact flight;
  • exact location;
  • destination arrival;
  • import release.

What does “Arrived at destination” mean?

It indicates destination-country arrival or destination processing.

It does not automatically mean:

  • customs cleared;
  • local carrier accepted;
  • parcel is at the recipient’s city;
  • delivery is imminent.

What does “Cleared from customs” mean?

It can support a customs release or clearance outcome.

It does not prove:

  • gateway or warehouse release;
  • physical handoff to the local carrier;
  • local-number activation;
  • Out for Delivery.

APG tracking visibility depends on the service

APG uses broad visibility language on its website, but current official materials also identify a semi-tracked service and disclaim a general warranty of website accuracy, timeliness, or reliability.

Use this model:

Does APG tracking show continuous GPS?

No universal current continuous-GPS capability was confirmed.

APG’s service material places geo-locational tracking under future system capabilities. That is not proof that every current consumer parcel has live location.

11Tracking cannot reveal:

  • exact aircraft;
  • exact gateway position;
  • warehouse location beyond published events;
  • vehicle;
  • driver;
  • continuous GPS.

Why can events stop after destination arrival?

Possible reasons include:

  • semi-tracked product;
  • customs processing;
  • destination partner not yet accepted;
  • local number not yet active;
  • postal route with limited public events;
  • delayed synchronization;
  • actual operational delay.

The correct interpretation depends on the product and next attributable event.

Local-carrier handoffs and secondary numbers

APG commonly manages a multi-leg route:

retailer
→ APG origin gateway or contractor
→ international transport
→ destination customs or APG process
→ local postal or commercial carrier
→ recipient

Who performs the last mile?

No universal APG final-mile carrier was confirmed.

The operator can depend on:

  • destination country;
  • postcode;
  • APG product;
  • retailer;
  • capacity;
  • current service agreement.

Is Australia Post always the final carrier in Australia?

Do not assume so.

Australia Post can be a destination operator on Australian routes, but APG ownership does not prove:

  • every APG parcel is injected into Australia Post;
  • every APG reference works in the Australia Post app;
  • Australia Post has physically received the parcel;
  • one local-number format applies.

Why did another tracking number appear?

A local number can be created when:

  • the destination partner is selected;
  • data is transmitted;
  • a local delivery record is prepared;
  • the parcel is relabelled or injected.

It does not prove physical handoff.

What proves local-carrier acceptance?

Look for an item-level event published by that carrier, such as:

  • accepted;
  • received;
  • inducted;
  • processed at local facility.

Use separate states:

local carrier selected
→ local number created
→ data transmitted
→ handoff represented
→ local carrier accepted

When should I use the local carrier tracker?

Use it after the local carrier recognizes the item and publishes an acceptance or processing event.

The local tracker can then show:

  • facility;
  • attempt;
  • pickup point;
  • delivery window;
  • exception;
  • proof route.

Keep both the APG reference and local number privately.

What if the local number shows no result?

Possible explanations include:

  • data-only pre-advice;
  • local record created before physical acceptance;
  • wrong local carrier;
  • synchronization delay;
  • unsupported number;
  • routing changed.

A secondary number alone does not prove handoff.

For the broader handoff model, see Handed to a Local Carrier or Destination Delivery Partner.

Delivery changes and inflight upgrades

APG’s current FAQ says delivery changes depend on the service and destination country.

Some shipments can offer:

  • inflight upgrade;
  • SMS notification link;
  • local carrier app action.

Other shipment details cannot be changed after APG receives the order.

Who should request a delivery change?

APG tells consumers to contact the retailer.

The retailer often controls:

  • APG service;
  • address data;
  • delivery options;
  • APG client relationship;
  • commercial remedy.

After local-carrier acceptance, the destination carrier may control local options.

Can I change the address, date, or pickup method?

Possibly, but not universally.

Availability depends on:

  • APG product;
  • destination;
  • current stage;
  • retailer authority;
  • local carrier;
  • customs;
  • operational constraints.

Does submitting a change guarantee it?

No.

Is an APG SMS upgrade link legitimate?

It can be legitimate for an eligible service, but a scam can imitate the same workflow.

Verify independently:

  1. open APG’s official tracker;
  2. confirm the retailer order;
  3. identify the destination carrier;
  4. inspect the exact domain;
  5. use the retailer or official local app independently where possible.

Do not enter identity or payment data through an unverified link.

Can 11Tracking change delivery?

No. It cannot redirect, upgrade, change address, change date, select pickup, or submit a retailer or carrier action.

APG customs, duties, taxes, identity, and payment

APG regional terms show that an APG entity can act as a customs broker, agent, direct agent, authorized representative, or facilitator using another broker.

The role depends on the region and contract.

APG is not the government customs authority.

APG or customs representative
=
submission, brokerage, coordination, collection, or representation

customs authority
=
government assessment, inspection, restriction, release, and enforcement

Why did APG request duties, taxes, identity, or card payment?

APG’s current FAQ describes legitimate shipment-specific requests delivered by SMS or email. The workflow can lead to a retailer-branded portal that requests:

  • identity details where required;
  • card payment for duties or taxes.

This can be legitimate. It is also a workflow that can be impersonated.

Does every APG order above one threshold owe duties?

No universal rule should be inferred.

Customs duty, VAT, sales tax, import tax, fees, and identity requirements can depend on:

  • destination;
  • goods;
  • value;
  • origin;
  • classification;
  • retailer collection model;
  • incoterms;
  • importer;
  • exemptions;
  • current law.

APG’s simplified FAQ explanation does not replace destination-country rules.

Does a retailer logo prove the portal is genuine?

No.

Safer verification sequence

  1. Open APG’s official site independently.
  2. Verify the tracking reference.
  3. Confirm the retailer order through the retailer’s own account or official site.
  4. Identify the destination and current carrier.
  5. Confirm the exact domain with APG or the retailer.
  6. Check destination customs guidance where needed.
  7. Do not upload ID or card data through an unverified page.

Does customs information mean the parcel is cleared?

No.

Customs stages can include:

  • data requested;
  • data submitted;
  • broker review;
  • authority review;
  • payment requested;
  • payment recorded;
  • release.

These are separate states.

Does customs release mean the local carrier has the parcel?

No.

The parcel may still require:

  • gateway handling;
  • broker completion;
  • warehouse release;
  • physical transfer;
  • destination injection;
  • local-carrier acceptance;
  • data synchronization.

See Customs Clearance Complete or Released from Customs for the generic boundary.

Who supplies customs information?

RequestActor that may need to act
Goods description, invoice, value, or origin dataRetailer, seller, shipper, or APG Client
Recipient identity or import informationRecipient through a verified protected process
Manifest or package-count correctionRetailer/APG Client and relevant APG entity
Brokerage actionNamed APG entity or customs representative
Government assessment, inspection, or releaseCustoms authority
Missing movement after releaseAPG, gateway, broker, or local carrier

Do not upload identity, tax, invoice, card, goods, or customs files to a public tracker.

Can APG override customs?

No. APG can support the carrier or broker process but cannot guarantee or override the government decision.

For the wider action path, see Package Stuck in Customs.

Why APG tracking can stop updating

A scan gap is an information condition.

Possible explanations include:

  • retailer created the reference before handoff;
  • APG origin processing has not begun;
  • outbound linehaul without intermediate public events;
  • semi-tracked postal product;
  • destination customs;
  • local carrier selected but not accepted;
  • local number not activated;
  • postal operator publishes fewer events;
  • synchronization delay;
  • wrong order, APG, local, return, Australia Post, StarTrack, or Aramex reference;
  • actual operational delay.

Do not use one universal waiting period

No single interval applies across every APG product, route, retailer, customs process, and local carrier.

Use observable triggers:

  • retailer claimed carrier handoff but no origin event exists;
  • Processed at origin remains unchanged beyond the applicable retailer promise;
  • an explicit customs, identity, payment, address, or delivery exception appears;
  • destination arrival is followed by no customs or local event;
  • local number remains inactive after a represented handoff;
  • merchant, payment, insurance, return, or legal deadline is approaching;
  • Delivered conflicts with receipt.

For the generic process, see Tracking Not Updating or Package Not Moving.

Preserve all identifiers and raw events

Keep privately:

  • retailer order;
  • APG reference;
  • local-carrier number;
  • return number;
  • raw status wording;
  • timestamp;
  • location;
  • publishing operator;
  • customs/payment communication.

Do not paste identity or payment information into public support posts.

Delivery, attempts, pickup, proof, and Delivered

The local destination carrier usually controls the final mile.

Does Out for Delivery guarantee delivery today?

No.

It records a local route stage. It does not guarantee:

  • exact time;
  • access;
  • successful contact;
  • same-day completion;
  • personal handover.

Use Out for Delivery but Not Delivered when the route does not complete.

How many delivery attempts does APG make?

No universal APG attempt count was confirmed.

The answer depends on:

  • local carrier;
  • country;
  • service;
  • address;
  • pickup options;
  • delivery instructions.

Can an APG parcel go to a pickup point?

Possibly, if the local carrier and service support it.

APG does not provide one universal pickup network or holding period.

What does Delivered prove?

Delivered confirms that the publishing system recorded completion.

It does not automatically prove:

  • personal handover to the named recipient;
  • correct placement;
  • package condition;
  • complete contents;
  • signature;
  • photo;
  • GPS;
  • final retailer remedy.

The event can be published by APG, a postal operator, a commercial local carrier, or a return operator. Identify the publisher.

Is proof of delivery always available?

No.

Availability can depend on:

  • APG product;
  • local carrier;
  • retailer account;
  • destination;
  • signature option;
  • retention period;
  • privacy rules.

The retailer or APG Client can have stronger access than the recipient.

Can 11Tracking retrieve proof?

No. It cannot retrieve a signature, photo, receiver name, driver note, GPS, private scan, identity document, or customs file.

What if Delivered conflicts with receipt?

Check:

  1. exact event and publishing carrier;
  2. local-carrier number;
  3. household, reception, safe place, neighbour, pickup point, or locker where relevant;
  4. retailer order and address;
  5. local carrier proof route;
  6. retailer and payment-remedy deadlines;
  7. eligible claim actor.

Use Delivered but Package Not Received for the generic process.

APG eReturns

APG eReturns is a separate reverse-logistics product family.

A return can move through:

merchant return approved
→ return reference created
→ local drop-off
→ first scan
→ local consolidation
→ international export
→ arrived at origin
→ delivered to return destination
→ merchant refund decision

Does return creation mean APG has the parcel?

No.

A return authorization, label, or reference can exist before local carrier intake.

What does the first scan mean?

The first scan is stronger evidence that the return entered the local return network.

It does not prove:

  • international departure;
  • merchant-country arrival;
  • refund.

Why can a return remain in local consolidation?

APG can consolidate returns before international export.

A gap during consolidation does not automatically prove loss.

What does “Arrived at origin” mean in a return?

In reverse logistics, “origin” can mean the original merchant or dispatch country.

It does not mean the return has been refunded.

Does Return Delivered mean refund?

No.

The retailer or marketplace controls the commercial remedy.

Can I enter a return reference in the general APG form?

Only when it is a supported APG carrier reference. A retailer return authorization or local drop-off code may belong to another system.

Can 11Tracking create a return?

No. It cannot authorize a return, create a label, book a drop-off, contact the retailer, or issue a refund.

Non-deliverable parcels and return to retailer

Regional APG terms can allow non-deliverable goods to be returned when:

  • the address is incomplete or incorrect;
  • the recipient does not accept;
  • collection does not occur;
  • delivery cannot be completed.

The formal terms generally notify and take instructions from the APG Client, often the retailer or account holder.

Does a non-deliverable event mean immediate return?

No.

non-deliverable identified
→ APG Client notified
→ instructions or contractual period
→ return or other decision
→ reverse movement
→ retailer receipt

Is there one APG holding period?

No universal consumer holding period was confirmed.

Some regional B2B terms contain instruction or disposal periods. These are not ordinary consumer pickup promises and must not be presented as such.

Does return to retailer guarantee a refund?

No. The retailer controls the purchase remedy.

Claims, liability, and who can act

APG’s regional terms are primarily contracts with a business Client.

The APG Client can be:

  • retailer;
  • ecommerce merchant;
  • logistics customer;
  • account holder.

The retail recipient is not automatically the contractual claimant.

Is there one APG claim deadline?

No.

Current official regional terms differ by:

  • APG entity;
  • country;
  • service;
  • postal or parcel product;
  • notice requirement;
  • legal-proceedings period;
  • insurance;
  • governing law.

For example, current UK terms contain a Client notice rule that must not be converted into a universal consumer deadline.

Act promptly through the retailer and relevant official route.

Who should report a missing or damaged APG parcel?

The practical route often includes:

  1. recipient reports the problem to the retailer;
  2. retailer or APG Client opens the APG claim;
  3. APG coordinates with contractors or local carrier;
  4. local carrier provides final-mile evidence where available;
  5. retailer handles replacement, refund, or commercial remedy.

The recipient can also use APG support for tracking information, but support contact does not prove formal claim rights.

Does the local carrier control the claim?

It can control:

  • local attempt detail;
  • delivery proof;
  • local investigation.

The retailer or APG Client may still control the commercial and contractual claim.

Is there one APG compensation amount?

No.

Liability and insurance can depend on:

  • APG regional entity;
  • contract;
  • product;
  • postal or parcel service;
  • route;
  • actual loss;
  • declared value;
  • insurance;
  • prohibited or excluded goods;
  • applicable law.

What evidence should be kept?

Keep privately:

  • retailer order;
  • APG reference;
  • local-carrier number;
  • return reference;
  • shipping confirmation;
  • invoice and evidence of value;
  • package and labels;
  • damage photos;
  • full tracking history;
  • customs and payment records;
  • retailer, APG, and local-carrier communication;
  • applicable deadlines;
  • support or claim confirmations.

Do not discard packaging before the responsible actor confirms whether inspection is required.

For the broader process, see Package Claim Guide.

Who should act on an APG shipment?

Use the actor controlling the latest confirmed stage.

Verify APG messages, portals, identity requests, and payments

Legitimate APG workflows can use:

  • SMS or email;
  • retailer-branded portal;
  • delivery-upgrade link;
  • local carrier app;
  • identity request;
  • duties or tax payment.

A fraudulent workflow can imitate the same elements.

Verification model

Safer verification sequence

  1. Open apgecommerce.com independently.
  2. Enter the retailer-provided APG reference.
  3. Confirm the order through the retailer’s official account or site.
  4. Identify the destination and local carrier.
  5. Open APG’s official FAQ or support route independently.
  6. Verify the exact domain before uploading identity or paying.
  7. Check destination customs guidance when required.
  8. Preserve the message privately.

Do not:

  • reply with an identity document;
  • enter card data on an unverified domain;
  • disclose a retailer password;
  • send customs files through a public tracker;
  • assume the logo or tracking number authenticates the request.

Tracking ambiguity does not establish fraud, customs seizure, APG misconduct, retailer misconduct, local-carrier theft, or false delivery.

Protect APG shipment, identity, customs, and payment data

Treat these as sensitive:

  • APG tracking reference;
  • retailer order number;
  • local-carrier number;
  • return reference;
  • name;
  • phone;
  • email;
  • complete address;
  • identity document;
  • date of birth;
  • tax ID;
  • customs data;
  • goods description;
  • invoice;
  • declared value;
  • card or bank data;
  • payment token;
  • proof;
  • claim evidence.

Use only the supported APG tracking reference in the protected tracking form.

Do not place raw shipment or identity data in:

  • URL;
  • title;
  • canonical;
  • metadata;
  • Open Graph;
  • JSON-LD;
  • breadcrumbs;
  • public screenshots;
  • forum posts;
  • analytics;
  • dataLayer;
  • logs;
  • cache keys;
  • public AI prompts.

APG, the retailer, customs authority, broker, or local carrier may legitimately require additional information in a protected official process. That does not make those fields appropriate for an independent tracking page.

Frequently asked questions

What is APG eCommerce Solutions?

APG is Australia Post Global eCommerce Solutions, a cross-border ecommerce logistics group using regional entities, gateways, postal and parcel products, customs services, contractors, and destination carriers.

Is APG owned by Australia Post?

Yes. APG is wholly owned by Australia Post.

Is APG the same as Australia Post tracking?

No. Ownership does not make an APG reference an Australia Post domestic number.

Is APG the same as StarTrack?

No. APG began as StarTrack International, but current StarTrack tracking is a separate identity.

Is APG the same as Aramex?

No. APG passed through an Australia Post–Aramex joint venture, but Australia Post later acquired full ownership.

Which APG company handles my shipment?

The applicable regional APG entity can depend on the retailer, origin, contract, service, and APG gateway.

Does APG physically carry the parcel from retailer to recipient?

Not necessarily. APG can use contractors, subcontractors, postal operators, customs representatives, and local final-mile carriers.

Which reference should I enter?

Enter the supported APG tracking reference supplied by the retailer or identified in the official APG shipping record.

Can I enter my retailer order number?

Possibly in some APG workflows, but the general form does not promise order-number support. Use the APG tracking reference when available.

Why do APG official pages differ about order-number support?

The dedicated tracker and FAQ emphasize a tracking reference, while the Contact page says order or tracking number can sometimes work. This may be retailer- or system-specific.

Does APG use one fixed reference format?

No universal official format was confirmed.

Can I enter an Australia Post number?

Use the Australia Post tracker for an Australia Post number. Do not enter it as APG unless the active provider explicitly maps it.

Can I enter a StarTrack or Aramex number?

Use the appropriate carrier tracker. Historical corporate relationships do not create current provider equivalence.

Can one order have an APG number and a local number?

Yes. The APG reference can cover the cross-border route while a local carrier uses another number for the destination stage.

Does a local number prove handoff?

No. The number can be created before physical acceptance.

Why does my APG reference show no result?

The reference can be mistyped, inactive, unsupported, belong to a retailer order or local carrier, or be delayed by data synchronization.

Does an APG reference mean APG has the parcel?

No. A reference can exist before APG or its contractor records origin processing.

What is ePacket?

ePacket is APG’s semi-tracked postal solution.

Is ePacket fully tracked?

No. It can provide selected events without a complete destination timeline.

What is ePacket Plus?

It is a tracked postal product, distinct from ePacket and from a fully tracked commercial parcel.

What is eParcel Premium?

It is a fully tracked parcel product using a local final-mile partner.

What are eParcel Expedited and Express?

They are faster fully tracked parcel options. Their published timing examples are not universal guarantees.

What is APG eReturns?

It is a tracked reverse-logistics product for localized returns.

Why does one APG order have more tracking than another?

The product, destination, local carrier, customs model, and retailer contract can differ.

What does Processed at origin mean?

It means APG or an origin process recorded handling. It does not prove international departure.

What does International export mean?

It records an outbound stage. It does not prove destination arrival.

What does Arrived at destination mean?

It indicates destination-country arrival or processing. It does not automatically mean customs cleared.

Does customs cleared mean the local carrier has the parcel?

No. Physical transfer and local acceptance can happen later.

Does APG tracking show continuous GPS?

No universal current continuous-GPS feature was confirmed. APG lists geo-locational tracking under future capabilities.

Who delivers the final mile?

A postal or commercial carrier selected for the route. No universal APG local carrier was confirmed.

Is Australia Post always the final carrier in Australia?

No universal rule was confirmed.

When should I use the local carrier tracker?

After the local carrier recognizes the item and publishes acceptance or processing.

Can I change the delivery address?

Possibly for an eligible service and destination through the retailer, APG flow, or local carrier. It is not universal.

Does an APG SMS link prove the request is genuine?

No. Verify the APG record, retailer, local carrier, and exact domain independently.

Is APG the customs authority?

No. APG or a broker can coordinate customs. The government authority makes the decision.

Why did APG ask for duties or ID?

A legitimate shipment-specific customs process can require duties, taxes, identity, or card payment. Verify it independently before providing data.

Does every order above one threshold owe duties?

No universal threshold rule applies across every destination and tax system.

Does a retailer logo prove the payment portal is official?

No.

Does Out for Delivery guarantee delivery today?

No. It is a local route stage, not a guaranteed outcome.

How many attempts does APG make?

No universal APG attempt count exists. The destination carrier and service control attempts.

Can an APG parcel go to a pickup point?

Possibly through the local carrier. APG does not have one universal pickup rule.

What does Delivered prove?

It proves that the publishing system recorded completion. It does not automatically prove named-recipient receipt, condition, signature, photo, or GPS.

Is proof of delivery always available?

No. Proof depends on the product, local carrier, retailer account, destination, and retention.

Can 11Tracking retrieve proof?

No.

Does return creation mean APG has the return?

No. Look for the first scan or carrier acceptance.

What does Arrived at origin mean in an APG return?

It can mean arrival in the retailer’s original dispatch country during reverse transport.

Does Return Delivered mean refund?

No. The retailer or marketplace controls refund approval and payment.

Who files an APG claim?

The retailer or APG Client often controls the contractual claim. The recipient can report the problem and preserve evidence.

Is there one APG claim deadline?

No. Regional entities and contracts use different notice and legal periods.

Does APG pay the recipient directly?

Not universally. The retailer, APG Client, insurer, or another contractual actor can control compensation.

Can a real APG reference appear in a scam?

Yes. A real reference does not authenticate an email, SMS, portal, identity request, or payment link.

Can 11Tracking change delivery, upload ID, pay duties, clear customs, create a return, or file a claim?

No. It displays supported public tracking information and helps organize the evidence only.

Keep APG and local-carrier updates together in USTracking

When a supported APG shipment later exposes a verified destination-carrier or return number, USTracking can help preserve the available public records and monitor later updates.

Use it as a tracking companion—not as APG, Australia Post, a customs broker, retailer, local carrier, return platform, or claims service.

USTracking cannot:

  • contact APG, Australia Post, the retailer, or local carrier;
  • identify a private driver;
  • reveal continuous GPS;
  • change delivery;
  • open a pickup process;
  • upload identity;
  • pay duties or taxes;
  • clear customs;
  • retrieve protected proof;
  • create a return;
  • contact the merchant;
  • file a claim;
  • recover a parcel;
  • guarantee delivery.

Scope and limitations

This page provides an evidence-based explanation of APG eCommerce tracking, retailer references, Australia Post ownership, service tiers, origin processing, customs, local-carrier handoffs, delivery actions, proof, returns, claims, privacy, and payment verification.

It does not diagnose a live parcel without attributable events, identify a private operator, expose continuous location, determine legal liability, publish one universal customs or claim rule, authenticate a payment portal from appearance alone, or guarantee delivery.

Material limits:

  • APG is Australia Post-owned but is not automatically Australia Post domestic, StarTrack, or Aramex tracking.
  • APG operates through regional entities, contractors, gateways, postal operators, local carriers, and brokers.
  • The public form accepts one supported APG tracking reference.
  • Retailer order-number support is not universal and requires runtime verification.
  • No universal APG reference format was confirmed.
  • Retailer order, APG reference, local-carrier number, and return reference are different.
  • A recognized reference does not prove physical APG possession.
  • Tracking depth depends on the service.
  • ePacket is semi-tracked; fully tracked parcel services have different visibility.
  • Official milestone diagrams are not a complete status ontology.
  • “Full visibility” does not mean complete physical history or continuous GPS.
  • Geo-locational tracking appears under future capabilities.
  • Processed at origin is not export.
  • Arrived at destination is not customs clearance.
  • Customs clearance is not local-carrier acceptance.
  • Local-carrier assignment or number creation does not prove physical handoff.
  • No universal final-mile carrier is confirmed.
  • Delivery changes depend on the service, country, retailer, and current carrier.
  • Legitimate SMS, ID, duties, and payment workflows can exist but require independent verification.
  • APG or a broker does not replace the government customs authority.
  • No universal tax threshold, attempt count, pickup rule, proof type, or holding period applies.
  • Delivered does not automatically prove named-recipient receipt, condition, signature, photo, or GPS.
  • eReturns movement is not merchant refund.
  • Formal APG claims are primarily regional Client-contract matters.
  • No universal APG claim deadline or compensation amount applies.
  • A real APG reference or retailer logo does not authenticate a message or portal.
  • 11Tracking and USTracking cannot change delivery, upload ID, pay duties, clear customs, retrieve proof, create a return, file a claim, recover a parcel, or guarantee delivery.
