DPD GERMANY PACKAGE TRACKING

DPD Germany Tracking

Track one supported 14-digit DPD Germany parcel number at a time. The result is a carrier-published event history; Predict and Live-Tracking are delivery forecasts, not guarantees. A recognised number or Auftragsdaten übermittelt event does not prove that DPD physically has the parcel.

Spaces and dashes are accepted.

Independent tracking lookup. 11Tracking is not DPD Germany and cannot manage a DPD delivery. Enter one supported 14-digit parcel number. Postcode, parcel reference, Pickup Pass, QR, myDPD, POD, photo, and account lookups are not available on this form.

DPD Germany is the German DPD operating company within the Geopost network. Use the tracking form on this page with one supported 14-digit DPD Germany parcel number to view the latest public events available through the current tracking provider.

A working result shows that the number can be associated with a carrier-published record. It does not by itself prove that DPD physically received the parcel, that a Predict or Live-Tracking time is guaranteed, that a redirection was accepted, that a parcel routed to a Pickup point is ready, or that a Delivered event proves personal receipt by the named addressee.

DPD Germany also provides postcode-protected details, myDPD and DPD App functions, delivery preferences, Pickup Pass QR codes, parcel-info-card QR codes, Proof of Delivery, photographs, returns, business accounts, and claims workflows. Those are separate official systems. Do not enter a postcode, Pickup Pass, QR code, address, safe-place description, photo ID, POD, DELIS ID, signature, complaint evidence, or payment information into this public carrier form.

Track a DPD Germany parcel on this page

Enter the parcel number exactly as shown in the shop confirmation, DPD email or SMS, myDPD record, sender order confirmation, or Pickup parcelshop receipt.

DPD Germany currently describes its parcel number as 14 digits.

Preserve:

  • all 14 digits;
  • leading zeros;
  • the original sequence;
  • the number from the DPD record rather than the merchant order number.

Do not substitute:

  • the consignee postcode;
  • a parcel reference unless this form explicitly supports it;
  • the QR code on a parcel info card;
  • a Pickup Pass;
  • a mobile parcel-label 2-D code;
  • a merchant order number;
  • a return web link;
  • a myDPD account or DELIS ID;
  • a POD or claim reference;
  • a recipient name, phone number, email address, or street address.

The public promise on this page is intentionally narrow:

Enter one supported 14-digit DPD Germany parcel number.

DPD Germany is not the same tracker as DPD UK or every DPD country

DPD Germany is part of Geopost, which operates through country companies and brands. One parent network does not create one universal DPD tracker.

ContextWhat it representsImportant boundary
DPD GermanyGerman parcel carrier, Predict, Live-Tracking, Pickup, and Germany-specific delivery optionsThis page owns the Germany workflow
DPD UKSeparate UK delivery company and tracking environmentDPD UK has different in-flight, proof, Pickup, and claim rules

Destination-country DPD companyLocal DPD business that can perform the next international stageGermany delivery preferences and support may no longer apply

Use this boundary:

same Geopost network ≠ same tracking provider

DPD brand in several countries ≠ one public workflow

DPD Germany parcel ≠ DPD UK parcel

shared out-of-home point ≠ carriers became one company

A separate /dpd-uk-tracking/ page should own DPD UK-specific tracking and delivery guidance.

Parcel number, postcode, parcel reference, and QR codes do different jobs

DPD Germany can ask for the consignee postcode after the parcel number.

The postcode is not another tracking number. DPD explains that without it, a user can still see parcel status, while further personal details or redirection options can remain hidden for security and data-protection reasons.

`Auftragsdaten übermittelt` means DPD has not received the parcel

DPD Germany provides a precise official explanation for the early status:

  • German: Auftragsdaten übermittelt
  • English: Order data transmitted

It means:

  • the sender registered the parcel online;
  • a parcel label was created;
  • DPD has not yet received the parcel;
  • DPD is waiting for pickup at the sender or for the sender to hand it to a Pickup parcelshop.

Use this evidence sequence:

parcel number recognised → electronic DPD record exists

Auftragsdaten übermittelt → sender registered shipment / created label

Auftragsdaten übermittelt ≠ DPD physical possession

Pickup handover receipt or driver acknowledgement → stronger sender-side handover evidence

first DPD scan / parcel on its way → stronger DPD possession and movement evidence

Do not translate this exact status as “DPD is processing the parcel at a depot.”

What if the sender says it was already handed over?

A timing gap can exist between:

  • recent parcelshop handover;
  • the sender receiving a handover receipt;
  • DPD collecting the parcel from the shop;
  • the first public network scan.

Preserve both pieces of evidence.

A handover receipt supports that the sender gave the parcel to the Pickup parcelshop. A later DPD network scan would prove the next carrier stage.

Use What Does “Label Created” Mean? and Carrier Received Package for the wider cross-carrier evidence model.

What a DPD Germany tracking result confirms

Read the latest exact event together with its timestamp, country, depot, delivery channel, and protected-detail availability.

How to read common DPD Germany tracking events safely

DPD Germany publishes precise explanations for selected events but not one exhaustive current public dictionary for every domestic, Express, Pickup, locker, return, international, and special-service event.

Preserve the exact German wording whenever the provider shows it.

Auftragsdaten übermittelt

DPD has the electronic shipment order but says it has not received the parcel.

A sender handover receipt or first DPD network scan would change the conclusion.

Order data transmitted

This is the English equivalent of the same early state.

It does not mean:

  • collected;
  • at a depot;
  • in transit;
  • delayed inside DPD’s network.

Das Paket ist unterwegs / The parcel is on its way

DPD Germany explains that the parcel was picked up or handed in at a parcelshop and is travelling toward the first sorting centre or depot.

This is stronger evidence of possession and movement.

It is not:

  • live GPS;
  • proof of uninterrupted movement;
  • a guaranteed delivery date.

Parcel centre or depot event

The stated depot or parcel-centre stage was recorded.

It does not prove where the parcel moved after that scan.

Parcel delivery centre

The parcel reached the local or regional delivery stage.

DPD says an unchanged delivery-centre status can reflect high volume or another delivery issue. It does not by itself prove loss.

Use Tracking Not Updating when the next event is delayed.

Predict notification

DPD expects delivery and provides a two-hour delivery window in the current receiving flow.

The window is a forecast.

Live-Tracking

DPD’s Live-Tracking can narrow the delivery window to approximately 30 minutes and provide a route visualisation.

Use the official feature name without overclaiming:

Live-Tracking = DPD operational delivery forecast and visualisation

Live-Tracking ≠ fixed arrival time ≠ independent proof that the parcel remains in one displayed vehicle ≠ guaranteed delivery

Delivery attempt or recipient absent

DPD recorded an unsuccessful delivery branch.

The event does not independently prove:

  • recipient absence;
  • correct bell use;
  • access conditions;
  • delivery of the parcel-info card;
  • one universal next attempt.

Read the next event for neighbour, safe place, Pickup, another day, or return.

Routed to a Pickup parcelshop or locker

The out-of-home point was selected or the parcel was routed there.

That is not collection readiness.

Wait for the scan at the shop or locker and the ready notification.

Ready for collection

DPD recorded the parcel at the Pickup parcelshop or locker.

This does not prove:

  • the ready email or SMS arrived;
  • a Pickup Pass was issued;
  • the customer collected it;
  • the shop can ignore current identification or authorisation requirements.

Zugestellt / Delivered

DPD recorded completion.

The parcel may have been delivered:

  • to the named recipient;
  • to a neighbour;
  • to an authorised safe place;
  • through a Pickup parcelshop or other stated channel.

Read the destination detail and available POD.

Return event

DPD recorded the stated return stage.

A return movement event does not prove merchant receipt, inspection, or refund.

Predict and Live-Tracking are forecasts, not the outcome

DPD Germany’s current receiving flow provides:

  • a two-hour Predict window on the delivery day;
  • a Live-Tracking view that can narrow the estimate to approximately 30 minutes.

Use this state model:

parcel assigned to delivery workflow → Predict window → updated Live-Tracking estimate → Delivered, attempted, redirected, Pickup, or later event

The last operational event—not the countdown—is the outcome.

Why the time or vehicle position can change

Possible reasons include:

  • route recalculation;
  • traffic;
  • parcel order changes;
  • access problems;
  • delivery exception;
  • vehicle or operational changes;
  • redirection;
  • delayed publication.

Do not diagnose the reason from the map alone.

How long does domestic DPD Germany delivery usually take?

DPD Germany currently says domestic shipping normally takes one to two working days after the parcel is handed over to DPD.

That timing begins after handover, not after label creation.

It is not:

  • a guarantee;
  • proof of loss after two days;
  • universal for every special, international, return, or Express service.

Redirecting a DPD Germany parcel

Current consumer options can include:

  • Abstell-Okay — permission to leave at a safe place;
  • Wunsch-Nachbar — chosen neighbour;
  • Wunsch-Paketshop — chosen Pickup parcelshop;
  • a different delivery day.

A user can redirect one parcel or store persistent preferences in myDPD or the DPD App.

A saved preference is not a completed delivery instruction

Use this state model:

preference stored → parcel matched → option available → request submitted → DPD accepts or rejects → route changes → new delivery or Pickup outcome

Therefore:

preference stored ≠ every parcel eligible

option displayed ≠ request submitted

request submitted ≠ accepted

accepted ≠ parcel already rerouted

rerouted ≠ delivered or ready

Why the postcode is required

DPD can require the consignee postcode before showing protected details or redirection options.

The postcode helps protect parcel and personal data. It is not another tracking identifier.

Full address changes

The public consumer options documented in the current DPD Germany help focus on:

  • safe place;
  • neighbour;
  • Pickup parcelshop;
  • delivery day.

Do not assume an unrestricted replacement of the complete delivery address.

Use Change, Reroute, or Hold a Package for the full action model.

`Abstell-Okay` is conditional

Abstell-Okay is DPD Germany’s safe-place permission.

Current conditions include a place that is:

  • at the delivery address;
  • described clearly;
  • secure;
  • fixed rather than mobile.

DPD gives examples such as a garage or carport.

Safe-place state model

Abstell-Okay saved or requested → parcel and sender eligibility → delivery-person access and execution → safe-place event → photograph when available

A stored or submitted permission is not proof that the parcel was left there.

Safe-place photograph

DPD says it usually documents an authorised safe-place delivery with a photo.

The privacy materials also state that there is no automatic right to receive a photograph.

Therefore:

safe-place delivery ≠ photo guaranteed

photo captured ≠ named-recipient receipt ≠ correct contents ≠ parcel remained secure after placement

Use Proof of Delivery, Photo, and Signature for the wider proof model.

A failed delivery does not create one universal attempt count

The current public Germany guidance explains delivery preferences and next actions after absence but does not establish one universal home-delivery attempt count for every DPD Germany product.

Do not import:

  • DPD UK attempt rules;
  • another DPD country’s rules;
  • one merchant contract’s rule.

Possible branches include:

  • neighbour;
  • safe place;
  • Pickup parcelshop;
  • changed delivery day;
  • another attempt;
  • return;
  • another product-specific outcome.

The next exact event controls the action.

Parcel info card

The Paketinfokarte can contain or link to:

  • parcel number;
  • parcel location;
  • DPD website;
  • phone information;
  • QR or app details;
  • redirection options.

The QR code is not a replacement parcel number for this form.

Pickup parcelshop and parcel locker readiness are separate from routing

A DPD parcel can go to a Pickup parcelshop because:

  • the recipient was absent;
  • the sender selected parcelshop delivery;
  • the recipient stored a favourite parcelshop;
  • the recipient requested redirection.

The reason affects responsibility but does not change the readiness rule.

When is it ready?

DPD Germany says the parcel is ready when it is scanned at the parcelshop or locker.

The recipient should wait for the email, SMS, or DPD App collection notification.

Use this sequence:

Pickup point selected → parcel transported → shop or locker scan → ready notification → Pickup Pass or other collection evidence → parcel released → collection event

Therefore:

on the way to a Pickup point ≠ ready

point shown in tracking ≠ ready

ready ≠ collected

DPD Germany collection periods: seven days or three days

Current DPD Germany holding periods are channel-specific.

Collection channelCurrent holding periodImportant qualifier
Pickup parcelshopSeven calendar daysSaturdays, Sundays, and public holidays count
Parcel locker or stationThree calendar daysSaturdays, Sundays, and public holidays count

DPD gives the parcelshop example that a parcel arriving on Monday must be collected no later than the following Monday.

Do not say:

DPD holds all collection parcels for seven days.

The exact shop or locker notification controls the deadline and location.

Pickup Pass: the June 2026 collection QR

DPD Germany introduced the Pickup Pass on 9 June 2026.

It is:

  • a personal QR code;
  • sent in the email confirming that the parcel is ready;
  • scanned in a Pickup parcelshop;
  • used to identify the parcel faster.

It is not:

  • the 14-digit tracking number;
  • a public status lookup;
  • a universal parcel-locker credential;
  • proof that every shop has removed identity or authorisation requirements.

Does Pickup Pass replace photo ID?

DPD described a fully digital future in which collection could occur without identity document or power of attorney. That was presented as a later goal.

Current safe guidance:

Follow the exact collection instructions shown for the parcel and carry the identity or authorisation evidence currently required by the Pickup point.

Existing DPD help also states that a recipient can collect at a parcelshop without the parcel-info card by showing official photo ID.

Can another person collect?

Current identification and authorisation can depend on:

  • the Pickup point;
  • recipient instructions;
  • photo ID;
  • power of attorney;
  • current Pickup Pass implementation;
  • special product restrictions.

Do not share a Pickup Pass publicly or assume it is freely transferable.

`inboxx`, myflexbox, and the changing out-of-home network

DPD Germany’s out-of-home environment is expanding.

inboxx

DPD and GLS announced inboxx in March 2026 as a new shared open-network brand.

The announced goal is:

  • 20,000 shared out-of-home points by the end of 2027;
  • including up to 6,000 parcel lockers.

This is a rollout target, not current universal coverage.

Use these boundaries:

shared out-of-home network ≠ one carrier provider

DPD and GLS cooperation ≠ DPD and GLS became one company

2027 network goal ≠ every current point is active

myflexbox

DPD Germany also supports selected myflexbox station workflows.

The exact collection point shown in the DPD notification controls the action. A partner station does not become the shipment’s public carrier identity.

Delivered, POD, photograph, and ID Check are different proof layers

DPD Germany’s own delivered-but-missing guidance tells users to check:

  • neighbour;
  • authorised deposit location;
  • Pickup parcelshop;
  • delivery details.

That demonstrates that generic Delivered does not always mean a handover to the named recipient.

Evidence layerWhat it can addWhat it does not automatically prove
Delivered / ZugestelltCarrier-recorded completionNamed-addressee receipt
Neighbour detailRecorded neighbour branchAuthority, identity, or intact contents
Safe-place detailRecorded deposit locationContinued security
Safe-place photoPlacement scene when availableNamed recipient, contents, or later possession
Pickup collectionParcel released through the collection workflowNamed identity unless the product verifies it
POD / AbliefernachweisDelivery record in the scoped systemUniversal public access or every disputed fact
SignatureSignature evidence where capturedIdentity verification unless product requires it
ID CheckDelivery restricted to a previously specified authorised personInclusion in an ordinary DPD shipment

Proof of Delivery availability

DPD says a POD can be opened from a delivered shipment in the appropriate tracking workflow.

Another official FAQ says POD visibility can depend on the parcel’s customer number or DELIS ID matching the authenticated myDPD account.

Therefore:

POD can exist ≠ every public recipient can view it

POD can exist ≠ the 11Tracking provider exposes it

Delivered ≠ POD, signature, name, or photo automatically available

ID Check is a distinct service

With ID Check, DPD delivers only to a previously specified authorised person.

Do not infer ID Check from:

  • ordinary Delivered;
  • ordinary POD;
  • high parcel value;
  • signature;
  • recipient name in a merchant order.

Delivered but not received

  1. Read the exact destination detail.
  2. Check neighbour, safe place, and Pickup parcelshop.
  3. Review the official tracking or myDPD proof when available.
  4. Preserve screenshots and delivery evidence privately.
  5. Contact the sender or merchant.
  6. The sender can initiate the official DPD investigation.
  7. The merchant remains responsible for the purchase remedy.

Use Delivered but Not Received for the full procedure.

DPD Germany returns and multicarrier labels

The sender or merchant normally controls the return label.

Current DPD Germany return options can include:

  • a return label supplied with the shipment;
  • a web-based return label;
  • handover at a Pickup parcelshop;
  • home collection in an eligible workflow.

Return state model

return authorised → label or mobile return created → parcel handed to Pickup shop or driver → first DPD return scan → return transit → merchant receipt → inspection → refund or replacement decision

Therefore:

return label created ≠ parcel handed to DPD

return scan ≠ merchant received it

merchant receipt ≠ refund approved

refund approved ≠ refund paid

Collection request and return are not the same

DPD distinguishes:

  • a collection request, where a driver can bring a prepared label and collect from a specified location;
  • a return, where the customer commonly hands the parcel to a Pickup parcelshop.

Multicarrier return

A parcel originally delivered by another carrier can return through DPD when the merchant provides a compatible multicarrier label.

For example:

outbound carrier DHL ≠ return carrier DHL

DPD return label → DPD can own the return movement

Use the carrier shown on the return label and the first return scan.

International DPD Germany tracking involves country companies and customs

A cross-border DPD parcel can pass through:

DPD Germany origin or destination → depot and linehaul network → customs where applicable → destination-country DPD company or partner → local delivery

One DPD brand does not mean one country workflow

A parcel can remain within Geopost while the following change:

  • local operating company;
  • website;
  • delivery preferences;
  • language;
  • customer support;
  • proof;
  • claim route.

Do not apply DPD Germany’s postcode, Pickup, or redirection rules to another country automatically.

Customs states are separate

Keep these stages distinct:

customs data prepared ≠ parcel exported

parcel at customs ≠ customs decision

customs decision ≠ release

release ≠ destination-depot processing

destination depot ≠ delivered

DPD can transport the parcel and provide customs information. The customs authority controls the decision.

Use Customs Processing, How International Package Tracking Works, and Find the Last-Mile Carrier for the wider process.

Suspicious messageOpen dpd.de or the DPD App independentlyCorrect parcel details do not authenticate the message

11Tracking cannot contact DPD Germany, a Pickup point, a driver, sender, merchant, customs authority, destination-country DPD business, or partner on your behalf.

Complaints, investigations, damage, and merchant remedies are separate

DPD Germany’s public guidance tells a retail recipient to contact the sender for a complaint or unresolved parcel.

The reason is contractual:

  • the sender or merchant booked the service;
  • the sender holds shipment and value evidence;
  • the sender can initiate an official DPD investigation;
  • the merchant controls replacement or refund.

DPD customer service can still provide assistance, but the sender remains the formal contractual actor in many retail cases.

Damage or missing contents

Current DPD guidance tells the recipient to photograph:

  • the outer parcel;
  • the damaged goods;
  • evidence of missing or incomplete contents.

Send the evidence to the sender or merchant.

If DPD detects damage before delivery, it can:

  • stop delivery;
  • return the parcel;
  • safely dispose of it in the scoped circumstances;
  • notify the sender.

Do not interpret every damage event as destruction.

Process state model

recipient reports problem → sender reviews evidence → sender opens DPD investigation or complaint → DPD investigates → outcome → carrier settlement when eligible → merchant replacement, refund, or other remedy

Keep these boundaries:

support contact ≠ formal complaint

complaint submitted ≠ parcel declared lost

investigation ≠ carrier fault established

carrier settlement ≠ consumer refund

consumer refund ≠ carrier admission

Terms and liability differ by product

DPD Germany publishes separate or product-specific terms for contexts including:

  • DPD CLASSIC;
  • DPD CLASSIC EUROPE;
  • DPD CLASSIC SHOP;
  • mail and parcel-letter products;
  • Pickup and deposit services;
  • myDPD.

Do not publish one universal liability amount or filing deadline on this carrier page.

Use Package Claim Guide and Who to Contact About a Package for the full evidence and actor model.

Verify DPD messages safely

DPD Germany warns users to open the official site independently and enter the parcel number there rather than trusting links in emails or text messages.

A fraudulent message can contain:

  • a real 14-digit parcel number;
  • a postcode fragment;
  • delivery date;
  • DPD logo;
  • Predict language;
  • Pickup wording;
  • safe-place wording;
  • a fake address-change request;
  • a small payment request.

Therefore:

correct parcel number ≠ authentic message

DPD branding ≠ authentic page

same message thread ≠ authentic sender

Use this rule:

Open dpd.de or the official DPD App independently and enter the parcel number there. Do not trust a tracking, redirection, Pickup Pass, address, safe-place, or payment link only because it contains correct parcel details.

Legitimate label, customs, import, business, or service charges can exist. Do not use the false universal statement that DPD never receives payment.

Use Fake Delivery Message for the full scam process.

Protect DPD tracking and collection data

Treat the following as sensitive:

  • 14-digit parcel number;
  • consignee postcode;
  • delivery address;
  • neighbour name;
  • safe-place description;
  • Pickup Pass;
  • parcel-info-card QR code;
  • photo ID;
  • power of attorney;
  • delivery photograph;
  • POD;
  • signature;
  • DELIS ID;
  • complaint evidence;
  • return documents;
  • customs information;
  • payment data.

Do not place those details into:

  • a public forum;
  • an unredacted screenshot;
  • a public URL;
  • analytics;
  • metadata;
  • JSON-LD examples;
  • an unverified support message.

The public status explanation does not require the protected postcode, Pickup Pass, identity document, or POD.

Frequently asked questions

How do I track a DPD Germany parcel?

Enter one supported 14-digit DPD Germany parcel number in the form on this page. Preserve every digit and leading zero.

How many digits are in a DPD Germany parcel number?

DPD Germany currently says its parcel number consists of 14 digits.

Where can I find the parcel number?

Check the shop shipping confirmation, DPD email or SMS, myDPD, sender order confirmation, or Pickup parcelshop receipt.

Can I track a DPD Germany parcel with a parcel reference?

DPD uses parcel references in some business contexts, but this 11Tracking page promises a supported parcel number only unless the current runtime explicitly accepts references.

Why does DPD ask for the delivery postcode?

The postcode unlocks protected parcel details and redirection options in official DPD tracking. DPD says the gate protects personal and parcel data.

Can I track without the postcode?

Yes. DPD says the general parcel status can be viewed without the postcode. More detailed information or actions can remain hidden.

Is the parcel-info-card QR code a tracking number?

No. It opens DPD parcel information or app functions. Use the 14-digit parcel number for public tracking.

Is the Pickup Pass a tracking number?

No. It is a personal collection QR used to identify a ready parcel faster in a Pickup parcelshop.

Is DPD Germany the same as DPD UK?

No. Both are within the wider Geopost network, but they have separate country systems, delivery options, support, proof, and claim rules.

What does Auftragsdaten übermittelt mean?

The sender registered the parcel and created a label, but DPD Germany says it has not yet received the parcel.

Does Order data transmitted mean DPD has the parcel?

No. It is the English version of the same early electronic status.

What proves DPD received the parcel?

A Pickup handover receipt supports sender-side handover. A first DPD scan, The parcel is on its way, or depot event is stronger evidence of DPD possession.

What does The parcel is on its way mean?

DPD says the parcel was picked up or handed to a parcelshop and is travelling toward the first depot.

Why is my parcel stuck at the delivery centre?

DPD says a delivery issue or high parcel volume can delay the next event. The unchanged status does not prove loss.

How long does DPD Germany delivery normally take?

DPD currently says domestic delivery usually takes one to two working days after handover to DPD. It is an estimate, not a guarantee.

How accurate is DPD Predict?

Predict provides a route-based two-hour delivery window. It can change before the actual delivery outcome.

Is DPD Live-Tracking actual GPS?

DPD calls the feature Live-Tracking and can show a detailed route forecast. Treat the map and countdown as an operational estimate, not independent proof or a guarantee.

Is the two-hour delivery window guaranteed?

No. Delivered, attempted, redirected, or Pickup events determine the actual outcome.

Can I redirect a DPD Germany parcel?

An eligible parcel can offer a safe place, neighbour, Pickup parcelshop, or different delivery day through official DPD tools.

Does a redirect request mean DPD changed the route?

No. Request submission, acceptance, physical rerouting, and final outcome are separate states.

What is Abstell-Okay?

It is permission for DPD to leave an eligible parcel at a described safe place at the delivery address.

Does Abstell-Okay guarantee safe-place delivery?

No. Parcel eligibility, sender restrictions, access, and delivery-person execution still control the result.

Does DPD photograph a safe-place delivery?

DPD says it usually documents an authorised safe-place delivery with a photo, but its privacy materials state that there is no automatic right to a photograph.

Can I choose a neighbour?

An eligible parcel can offer Wunsch-Nachbar. The option must be shown and accepted in the official DPD workflow.

Can I choose a Pickup parcelshop?

An eligible parcel can offer Wunsch-Paketshop. Selection does not mean the parcel is already ready there.

Why did my parcel go to a Pickup parcelshop?

Possible reasons include recipient absence, sender-selected shop delivery, a favourite parcelshop, or recipient redirection.

When is a parcel ready at the Pickup shop or locker?

DPD says it is ready after being scanned at the point. Wait for the email, SMS, or app notification.

How long does a parcel stay at a Pickup parcelshop?

Current DPD Germany guidance says seven calendar days. Weekends and public holidays count.

How long does a parcel stay in a parcel locker?

Current DPD Germany guidance says three calendar days. Weekends and public holidays count.

What is the DPD Pickup Pass?

It is a personal QR code introduced in June 2026 and sent in the ready-for-collection email to identify the parcel faster at a Pickup parcelshop.

Does Pickup Pass replace photo ID?

Not universally. DPD described fully digital collection without ID or power of attorney as a future goal. Follow the current parcel-specific instructions.

Can I collect without the parcel info card?

Current DPD Germany help says an official photo ID can support collection at a parcelshop without the card.

Can another person collect my parcel?

Collection can depend on identification, authorisation, Pickup Pass implementation, and product restrictions. Follow the exact shop instructions.

What happens if I am not at home?

The next branch can be neighbour, safe place, Pickup parcelshop, another delivery day, another attempt, or return. Read the next event.

How many delivery attempts does DPD Germany make?

The current general consumer help does not establish one universal attempt count for every DPD Germany product. Do not use DPD UK or another country’s rule.

Does Delivered mean the named recipient received the parcel?

No. DPD’s own guidance includes neighbour, safe place, and Pickup parcelshop as places to check.

Where can I find the Proof of Delivery?

DPD says a POD can be opened from a delivered shipment in the appropriate DPD tracking or account workflow.

Why is the POD not visible?

Visibility can depend on authenticated myDPD access and a matching customer number or DELIS ID. It is not always public.

Does a POD prove the named recipient received it?

Not automatically. The evidence depends on the service and may record another authorised destination or person.

What is DPD ID Check?

It is a distinct service restricting delivery to a previously specified authorised person. Ordinary delivery does not automatically include it.

Who should start an investigation?

For a retail purchase, DPD Germany tells the recipient to contact the sender. The sender is the contractual customer and can initiate the official investigation.

What should I do if the parcel is damaged or incomplete?

Photograph the outer packaging and damaged or missing contents, preserve everything, and contact the sender or merchant.

Does creating a return label prove the parcel was returned?

No. The parcel still needs to be handed to a Pickup shop or driver and receive a return scan.

Can a parcel delivered by DHL be returned through DPD?

Yes, when the merchant supplies a compatible multicarrier DPD return label.

Does DPD return tracking prove a refund?

No. Carrier return, merchant receipt, inspection, refund approval, and payment are separate.

Why did international tracking change to another DPD country?

A destination-country DPD company or partner can control the local stage. The Geopost network does not create one universal country workflow.

How do I verify a DPD Germany message?

Open dpd.de or the official DPD App independently and enter the parcel number. Do not trust the original link only because the message contains correct parcel information.

Can 11Tracking redirect the parcel or show protected DPD details?

No. 11Tracking can perform a supported public parcel-number lookup and explain the evidence. It cannot unlock postcode-protected information, access myDPD, show Live-Tracking controls, retrieve Pickup Pass or POD, redirect, authorise a safe place, contact DPD, open an investigation, create scans, recover a parcel, or guarantee delivery.

Keep DPD Germany updates together in USTracking

After identifying the country, exact event, delivery channel, evidence boundary, and responsible actor, USTracking can help you:

  • save a supported DPD Germany parcel number;
  • organise public events in one timeline;
  • monitor later recorded updates;
  • compare DPD Germany and destination-country partner events when available;
  • keep purchases and returns organised;
  • receive notifications.

USTracking cannot:

  • track by postcode, address, name, phone, or email;
  • unlock postcode-protected details;
  • access Predict or Live-Tracking maps and controls;
  • access myDPD or the DPD App account;
  • redirect the parcel;
  • set Abstell-Okay;
  • choose a neighbour, parcelshop, or delivery day;
  • retrieve a Pickup Pass, QR code, POD, signature, name, or photograph;
  • authorise collection;
  • contact DPD Germany, Pickup, a driver, merchant, sender, customs authority, or destination partner;
  • submit an investigation, complaint, compensation request, refund, or return authorisation;
  • create or correct scans;
  • recover, release, accelerate, reroute, or guarantee a parcel.

Use USTracking as a public-event monitoring and interpretation companion, not as a substitute for DPD Germany, myDPD, the sender, merchant, Pickup point, customs authority, or destination-country carrier.

Scope and limitations

  • This page explains DPD Germany parcel tracking, exact early status, Predict, Live-Tracking, delivery preferences, Pickup, lockers, Pickup Pass, proof, returns, international handoffs, complaints, and DPD-country classification. It does not diagnose an individual parcel.
  • The public form is intended for one supported 14-digit DPD Germany parcel number. It does not automatically accept a postcode, parcel reference, parcel-info-card QR, Pickup Pass, mobile label, order number, return web link, account ID, POD, complaint reference, name, address, phone number, or email.
  • DPD Germany, DPD UK, DPD Local, and other DPD country businesses can use separate runtime providers.
  • A recognised number or Auftragsdaten übermittelt event does not prove DPD physical possession.
  • A parcelshop handover receipt supports sender-side handover but is not the first DPD depot scan.
  • Predict and Live-Tracking are operational forecasts, not guarantees.
  • A map, stop count, or narrowing window does not independently prove delivery.
  • Postcode-protected details and redirection remain within DPD’s official privacy-gated workflow.
  • A saved delivery preference or submitted redirection does not prove acceptance or completed route change.
  • Abstell-Okay depends on parcel, sender, access, and delivery-person execution.
  • A safe-place photograph is conditional and does not prove continued possession.
  • The current Pickup parcelshop period is seven calendar days; the parcel-locker period is three calendar days; weekends and public holidays count.
  • Routing to a Pickup point is not readiness. Readiness begins after the point scan and notification.
  • The June 2026 Pickup Pass is a collection QR, not a tracking number, and does not yet establish universal ID-free pickup.
  • Delivered can mean recipient, neighbour, safe place, parcelshop, or another documented branch.
  • POD can require authenticated access and is not guaranteed to appear through a third-party tracker.
  • ID Check is a separate service and must not be inferred from ordinary delivery.
  • The sender or merchant is generally the contractual actor for a retail investigation, damage complaint, replacement, or refund.
  • Return-label creation does not prove DPD handover, merchant receipt, or refund.
  • International parcels can move between country-level DPD companies or partners, and customs remains a separate decision-maker.
  • DPD products and GTC can use different proof, liability, complaint, and delivery rules.
  • inboxx, Pickup Pass, Live-Tracking, out-of-home networks, terms, and official links are highly volatile.
  • 11Tracking and USTracking are not DPD Germany, Geopost, myDPD, Pickup, a sender, merchant, customs authority, or destination carrier and cannot act on the physical parcel.
  • Verify high-stakes collection deadlines, redirection, identity, POD, damage, claims, customs, and current country-provider identity through the current official source before acting.
