GLS ITALY PACKAGE TRACKING

GLS Italy Tracking

Track one supported GLS Italy shipment using the correct national, international, ID Collo, or DDT reference. Tracking updates are recorded when parcel labels are read, not through continuous GPS, and an existing reference alone does not confirm physical collection. Attempts, FlexDelivery, GLS Shop, locker, depot, proof, and complaint routes depend on the booked service and the responsible local GLS Sede.

Spaces and dashes are accepted.

Independent tracking lookup. 11Tracking is not GLS Italy, General Logistics Systems Italy S.p.A., GLS Group, GLS Germany, GLS Spain, a local Sede, a retailer, or a marketplace and cannot manage a delivery, activate FlexDelivery, release giacenza, retrieve POD, or file complaints. Enter one supported GLS Italy shipment reference at a time. Merchant or marketplace order numbers, invoice numbers, pickup PINs, locker QR codes, FlexDelivery credentials, names, phones, emails, full addresses, IdentPIN, signatures, and claim files are not available on this form.

Use the GLS Italy carrier reference supplied by the sender, not the store order number, customer name, address, pickup PIN, or locker code. GLS Italy provides four official lookup modes—National Shipment, International Shipment, ID Collo, and DDT—and they are not interchangeable. Tracking updates are created when the parcel label is read at operational points; they are not continuous GPS. A reference can exist before GLS has physically collected the parcel, and the exact event determines whether the sender, local GLS Sede, GLS Italy Customer Service, or contracting party can act.

Track a GLS Italy shipment

Enter one supported GLS Italy reference in the tracking form above.

Use the identifier printed in the merchant’s dispatch message, GLS notification, shipping document, or parcel label. Remove display spaces only when the form requires it; do not guess missing characters or substitute a purchase-order number.

For an international shipment, the official GLS Italy tracker may also ask for the destination ZIP code. That ZIP code is a separate verification field, not part of the tracking number. When shipment-specific details require ZIP verification, use the official GLS Italy tracker rather than placing the full destination address into a general tracking form.

Do not enter personal or access information

Tracking does not require the recipient’s:

  • name;
  • street address;
  • intercom name;
  • telephone number;
  • email address;
  • identity document;
  • delivery PIN;
  • locker QR code;
  • signature;
  • claim documents.

GLS Italy states that a shipment cannot be located by recipient or sender name alone. Ask the merchant or sender for the correct carrier reference.

Which GLS Italy number should you use?

The official Italian tracking system exposes four different reference modes.

Reference modeWhat it identifiesOfficial format guidanceImportant boundary
National ShipmentA domestic Italian GLS shipmentUsually one or two letters followed by eight or nine digitsDo not treat a store order number as the GLS shipment reference
International ShipmentA cross-border GLS shipmentNumeric, generally eleven or twelve digitsCopy the complete number exactly; the official tracker may also request destination ZIP code
ID ColloOne package within a shipmentNumeric package ID printed below the barcodeRemove leading zeros and the final GLS letters when the official help instructs you to do so
DDTA shipment looked up through delivery-note dataOffice code, account number, and DDT referencePrimarily a sender or account-document lookup, not the normal buyer identifier

These formats describe current official GLS Italy workflows. They should not be converted into one rigid public regex because display grouping, legacy references, service variations, and provider acceptance can differ.

National shipment reference

A domestic GLS Italy reference usually contains:

  • one or two letters;
  • eight or nine digits.

GLS Italy’s tracking help provides a grouped example, but spaces may only be visual separators. Copy the reference from the sender rather than rebuilding it from an example.

International shipment reference

Current official pages describe international references as numeric and usually eleven or twelve digits. One help page illustrates an eleven-digit number, while the FAQ allows both lengths.

The safe rule is:

Use the exact numeric carrier reference supplied for that parcel.

Do not add a country code, merchant prefix, or missing digit based on another shipment.

ID Collo

ID Collo is a package-level identifier printed below the parcel barcode. Official tracking help instructs users to:

  • remove leading zeros;
  • remove the trailing GLS letters.

It is not the same as:

  • the shipment number;
  • a merchant order number;
  • a locker PIN;
  • a collection code;
  • a DDT reference.

Use ID Collo when the shipment contains several packages or the sender specifically provides the package-level barcode reference.

DDT reference

A DDT lookup uses shipping-document information, including:

  • office code;
  • account number;
  • delivery-note number.

GLS Italy’s help describes a four-digit account-number rule, adding leading zeros when required. This mode is mainly useful to senders, customers, or users holding the transport documents.

A retail buyer who only has a shop order number should ask the seller for the actual GLS shipment or parcel reference.

One order can contain several parcels

The Italian GLS rules distinguish domestic and international multi-collo shipments.

Domestic multi-package shipment

For a domestic shipment containing several packages, one shipment number can show the package group.

This means:

  • one online order may display several colli;
  • packages can receive different scans or delivery outcomes;
  • one delivered package does not prove that every package in the shipment arrived.

International multi-package shipment

For an international multi-package shipment, GLS Italy says the sender must provide an individual number for each parcel.

If only part of an international order appears:

  1. check whether the merchant sent more than one carrier number;
  2. compare each parcel line in the order dispatch message;
  3. ask the sender for the missing package-level reference.

Do not assume one international number represents the complete order.

What GLS Italy tracking actually shows

GLS Italy tracking is an event record built from label reads and operational scans.

It can show that:

  • shipment data exists;
  • a parcel was collected or first scanned;
  • a Sede or hub processed the parcel;
  • line-haul movement occurred;
  • the shipment reached the local network;
  • a delivery attempt was recorded;
  • the parcel was delivered, stored, redirected, refused, or returned.

It does not provide:

  • continuous GPS;
  • a complete physical history between every scan;
  • live driver location;
  • guaranteed delivery time;
  • proof that the parcel contents are correct;
  • automatic proof of personal receipt by the named buyer.

A tracking number does not prove physical collection

A sender can create and print a GLS label before the parcel is collected.

Therefore:

GLS reference or label exists
=
electronic shipment data may exist

Look for a later operational event showing collection, processing, departure, or arrival.

If the seller’s promised dispatch window has passed and no physical event appears, contact the sender first. The sender can verify whether the parcel was handed to the responsible GLS Sede or franchisee.

Why scans can be separated by several days

GLS Italy explains that tracking updates appear when the label is read. On a long domestic or international route, several days can pass between visible events.

A quiet record does not, by itself, prove:

  • the parcel is stationary;
  • it is lost;
  • it is held by customs;
  • it was sent to the wrong region.

Use the exact last event, the expected delivery window, and any later exception before deciding whether escalation is necessary.

A practical GLS Italy evidence ladder

The following model is a cross-source interpretation of the Italian workflow, not a verbatim list of every GLS status:

Shipment data or label prepared
        ↓
Physical collection or first operational scan
        ↓
Origin Sede or hub processing
        ↓
Domestic or international line-haul
        ↓
Local Sede arrival or local correspondent assignment
        ↓
Delivery route or first attempt
        ↓
Delivered / second attempt / FlexDelivery / GLS Shop / locker / depot / storage / refusal / return

The most important distinction is between data creation and recorded physical handling. A later physical scan is stronger evidence than a newly created reference.

GLS Italy statuses that change the next action

Read the complete Italian status. A generic normalized label can hide whether the parcel is waiting for the sender, with a local correspondent, at a depot, or due for another attempt.

SPEDIZIONE NON CONSEGNATA

This means the delivery was not completed for logistical or distribution reasons.

Current GLS Italy guidance says the parcel is expected to be delivered on the next working day, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

It does not mean:

  • the recipient was absent;
  • the parcel is lost;
  • a formal claim is already available;
  • next-working-day delivery is an unconditional compensation guarantee.

Check the next event. Contact GLS or the sender when the expected branch does not occur.

AFFIDATA AL CORRISPONDENTE

This means GLS entrusted the final leg to a local correspondent or partner. GLS Italy uses this branch for selected remote areas and smaller islands.

It confirms:

  • a local-partner final-delivery stage was recorded;
  • the last part of the route may no longer produce the same GLS facility scans.

It does not confirm:

  • delivery to the recipient;
  • a universally available second tracking number;
  • the identity of the partner unless the record names it;
  • delay or loss.

Continue checking the original GLS record. Look for a named partner or additional identifier. Contact the sender or responsible Sede if the expected delivery window passes without a new event.

IN ATTESA DI ISTRUZIONI DAL MITTENTE – SPEDIZIONE IN GIACENZA

This means the parcel is stored while GLS waits for instructions from the sender.

The recipient can provide corrected information to the seller, but the sender controls the formal release instruction.

Contact the sender promptly. Do not assume that recipient support, 11Tracking, or a FlexDelivery link can override sender-controlled storage.

RIFIUTATA

This means a refusal was recorded in the delivery workflow.

Only the sender can normally release and reschedule the shipment under the published GLS Italy guidance.

The status does not decide:

  • whether the refusal was factually or legally valid;
  • whether the merchant will cancel the order;
  • whether a refund is approved;
  • whether the parcel has completed the return journey.

Contact the seller or sender.

INDIRIZZO INCOMPLETO O ERRATO

This means the destination address is incomplete or incorrect.

GLS Italy directs the sender to complete or correct the address and release the shipment. Useful details can include:

  • the name shown on the intercom;
  • street and building number;
  • correct CAP;
  • city, locality, hamlet, or district;
  • staircase, apartment, or building identifier.

Send those details to the merchant or sender. Do not submit a full address to a public tracking page.

SPEDIZIONE FERMO DEPOSITO

This means the parcel is waiting at the relevant GLS Sede for collection.

The recipient generally needs:

  • valid identification;
  • the GLS shipment reference;
  • confirmation that the parcel is ready;
  • the local Sede’s current opening hours.

An authorised third party may need:

  • the shipment number;
  • a copy of the recipient’s ID;
  • their own ID;
  • written authorisation.

This workflow is not the same as GLS Shop collection, locker collection, or sender-booked DepotPickupService.

IN TRANSITO... non arrivata alla Sede GLS locale

This means the parcel has not yet reached the local GLS Sede and is not out for delivery that day.

The safest action is to wait for the next event unless the expected window has passed.

It does not prove:

  • customs delay;
  • wrong routing;
  • parcel loss;
  • a failed delivery attempt.

ASSENTE AL PRIMO PASSAGGIO

This means GLS recorded a first unsuccessful attempt because the recipient was absent.

Current standard guidance says another attempt is normally made on the next working day. An eligible FlexDelivery shipment can provide a link for alternative instructions.

This event does not independently prove:

  • whether the bell worked;
  • whether the driver reached the correct entrance;
  • whether a paper notice was left;
  • that misconduct occurred.

If the attempt is disputed, preserve the timestamp, intercom or reception evidence, and notification history. Report the discrepancy through the sender or official GLS route without turning the tracking event into an accusation.

Delivery timing and estimates in Italy

Standard delivery hours

GLS Italy publishes a general weekday delivery period of approximately:

  • Monday to Friday;
  • 08:30 to 18:30.

This is a broad operating window, not a scheduled appointment or guarantee for an individual parcel.

What does “24/48 hours” mean?

GLS Italy markets many domestic services around a 24/48-hour context. The 2026 Service Charter also explains that delivery times are generally indicative unless a strict commitment is specifically agreed in writing.

Therefore:

24/48-hour service positioning
=
a general product expectation

Remote areas, islands, service type, collection time, holidays, operational interruptions, address issues, and sender instructions can change the route.

Premium timing services

A precise morning or timed-delivery expectation can depend on an additional service booked by the sender. A recipient cannot infer that premium service from the GLS brand alone.

Use the shipment-specific notification and service details supplied by the sender.

First and second delivery attempts

Current GLS Italy recipient guidance describes a standard first and second attempt model.

A typical branch is:

First unsuccessful attempt
        ↓
Second working-day attempt or eligible FlexDelivery instruction
        ↓
Delivery / alternative option / storage at the local Sede

This does not mean every GLS Italy parcel is guaranteed two identical home visits.

The route can change because of:

  • FlexDelivery selection;
  • GLS Shop or depot redirection;
  • safe-place or neighbour instruction;
  • wrong address;
  • refusal;
  • sender instruction;
  • contract-specific service;
  • local operational branch.

After unsuccessful attempts, a shipment can enter giacenza, where sender instructions may be required.

FlexDeliveryService in Italy

FlexDelivery is a shipment-specific service. It is available only when the sender attached it to the parcel and GLS has the required recipient contact data.

A generic GLS tracking number does not guarantee that the recipient can use every Flex option.

Six documented FlexDelivery options

Eligible recipients may be able to:

  1. choose a new delivery date;
  2. select a GLS Depot or GLS Shop within the original destination Sede’s managed area;
  3. enter an alternative address within that same area;
  4. choose a safe place at the delivery address;
  5. authorise delivery to a neighbour in the applicable local context;
  6. refuse the delivery and select a reason.

Address changes: general rule and limited exception

GLS Italy’s general rule is that the sender controls address correction.

FlexDelivery creates a narrower recipient option:

General address correction
→ sender-controlled

Eligible FlexDelivery alternative address
→ limited recipient option within the original destination Sede area

Do not assume that an address in another city, province, or delivery area is eligible.

Current FlexDelivery timing boundaries

The current official service guidance describes time-limited choices after notification or absence. These windows are volatile and service-specific.

Use the deadline shown in the shipment link. Do not rely on an undated article when the current notification displays a different cutoff.

The GLS App does not create Flex eligibility

GLS Italy explains that Flex options appear through the shipment notification or link. The app does not provide a permanent menu that can create eligibility for any tracking number.

If the link is absent:

  • verify the sender supplied the correct contact information;
  • ask the sender whether FlexDelivery was booked;
  • use the official tracking and support routes.

GLS Shop, locker, and depot are different

These channels have different readiness evidence, access requirements, holding rules, and non-collection outcomes.

GLS Shop

A parcel can reach a GLS Shop because:

  • the merchant offered Shop delivery at checkout; or
  • an eligible FlexDelivery recipient redirected the shipment.

A selected Shop does not mean the parcel is ready. Wait for the delivery-to-Shop event or collection notification.

Current official GLS Shop guidance states:

  • the parcel is held for ten days;
  • a reminder is sent after five days;
  • a collection signature is recorded.

The non-collection outcome depends on the route. Current guidance describes return to the GLS Sede in one direct-Shop branch and return to the sender in a Flex-redirection branch.

Follow the shipment-specific notification instead of assuming one universal outcome.

GLS locker

GLS Italy is expanding 24/7 locker access, but the official consumer sources reviewed for this page do not establish one universal rule for:

  • readiness status;
  • PIN or QR format;
  • holding period;
  • collection by another person;
  • non-collection outcome.

Use the exact locker message and official tracking instructions. Do not share the credential or upload it to 11Tracking.

DepotPickupService

DepotPickupService is a sender-booked option. Current official guidance says:

  • collection takes place at the nearest GLS Sede;
  • the recipient should collect within the third working day after arrival;
  • valid ID and the GLS shipment number are required.

That timeframe belongs to the specific DepotPickupService. It is not a universal holding period for every parcel that later enters depot storage.

General fermo deposito

A parcel can also be placed at a Sede after an operational exception, failed delivery, or sender instruction.

Before travelling:

  1. confirm the exact event;
  2. confirm readiness;
  3. check the correct Sede;
  4. check opening hours;
  5. check the collection deadline and ID requirements.

The local GLS Sede and franchise network

GLS Italy operates under one national brand, but its 2026 Service Charter explains that the network includes independently owned and managed GLS-branded franchisees.

General Logistics Systems Italy S.p.A. coordinates the brand and common services. The local franchisee or Sede can control:

  • physical parcel handling;
  • local delivery route;
  • depot collection;
  • investigation of an operational event;
  • implementation of sender instructions;
  • the response to a complaint forwarded by central Customer Service.

This is why the correct local Sede matters.

Who should contact the local Sede?

The local Sede is useful when:

  • tracking identifies that location;
  • the parcel is ready for depot collection;
  • a local attempt or storage event needs clarification;
  • a formal complaint has been routed to the responsible franchisee.

The sender is still the better first contact when:

  • the reference is missing;
  • the address is wrong;
  • the parcel is waiting for sender instructions;
  • proof or a transport claim must be requested;
  • a refund or replacement is needed.

Delivery evidence in Italy

Contactless electronic signature

GLS Italy describes a contactless signature workflow using a QR code.

This is a delivery-signing method. It is not:

  • a tracking number;
  • continuous identity verification;
  • proof that every GLS parcel uses the method;
  • data that should be uploaded to 11Tracking.

IdentPINService

The sender can book IdentPINService for an eligible shipment. The recipient enters a shipment-specific PIN on the driver’s device.

A PIN requirement is stronger evidence of an authorised handoff process, but it does not mean every GLS Italy parcel requires a PIN.

PODService

PODService is an optional account-holder service for compatible shipments. The official service can include:

  • delivery date;
  • delivery time;
  • name of the person who received the goods;
  • digital signature;
  • selected stamp information in applicable national workflows.

The service is accessed through the subscribed customer’s reserved area. A public tracking page must not promise that every recipient can download the POD.

What does Delivered prove?

A Delivered event means GLS recorded a completed delivery outcome.

Depending on the shipment, the outcome can relate to:

  • the named recipient;
  • another receiving person;
  • a neighbour;
  • an authorised safe place;
  • GLS Shop collection;
  • locker collection;
  • depot pickup;
  • another shipment-specific branch.

It does not automatically prove:

  • personal receipt by the named online buyer;
  • that the buyer entered the visible signature;
  • that the contents were correct;
  • that the parcel remained secure after placement;
  • that the merchant approved a refund or return.

Read the exact receiving name, location, notification, and proof available to the sender.

GLS Italy says delivered, but the parcel is missing

Act on the available evidence rather than waiting for a generic fixed delay.

  1. Open the full GLS Italy event history.
  2. Check the receiving person, neighbour, safe-place, Shop, locker, or Sede detail.
  3. Ask household members, concierge, reception, mailroom, or business goods intake.
  4. Check every authorised delivery location.
  5. Preserve screenshots, notification messages, parcel reference, order record, and time.
  6. Notify the merchant or sender immediately.
  7. Ask the sender or party that paid for carriage to request POD and open a transport complaint when necessary.
  8. Keep marketplace, payment, or buyer-protection deadlines separate from the GLS investigation.

The delivery event can be an authentic carrier record while a dispute remains about the person, place, authorisation, or later possession.

Wrong address, refusal, storage, and sender control

Several Italian GLS statuses explicitly require sender action.

SituationRecipient can doSender can doGLS can do

11Tracking cannot change the address, release storage, reverse a refusal, or create FlexDelivery eligibility.

Damage, tampering, and the wrong parcel

Visible damage at delivery

If the parcel is visibly damaged, current GLS Italy guidance allows the recipient to:

  • sign with a specific written reservation describing the visible damage; or
  • refuse the parcel.

A generic statement such as “subject to inspection” may not preserve the same evidence as a specific description of crushed, torn, wet, punctured, opened, or resealed packaging.

Hidden damage after opening

Preserve:

  • outer packaging;
  • inner packaging;
  • carrier label;
  • damaged contents;
  • photographs;
  • invoice or value evidence;
  • delivery date and event.

Notify the sender or the person who paid for carriage as soon as possible. The current FAQ publishes an eight-calendar-day complaint window for the contracting party in a scoped hidden-damage workflow, but service, contract, and legal conditions can differ. Use the current official process rather than treating this page as legal advice.

Wrong parcel delivered

GLS Italy asks for shipment and recipient details when a parcel was delivered to the wrong person.

Do not submit another person’s name, address, telephone number, label image, or identity details to 11Tracking. Use official GLS support.

Missing contents

Tracking cannot determine when contents went missing. Contact the merchant or sender for product resolution and claim coordination.

GLS tracking does not approve a replacement or refund.

Complaint, claim, and compensation are different

Information request

Use tracking, the sender, the local Sede, or Customer Service when you need:

  • status clarification;
  • collection readiness;
  • address or storage routing;
  • delivery-location evidence;
  • operational follow-up.

Formal complaint

The 2026 GLS Italy Service Charter describes a formal complaint route for:

  • subscribed customers through the contracting franchisee;
  • GLS Store purchasers;
  • occasional customers;
  • recipients through the central channels described in the Charter.

Current Charter timing includes a complaint period and response target. These are volatile procedural rules. Use the current form and official document rather than relying on an undated summary.

Compensation entitlement

The same Charter states that compensation is normally requested by:

  • the sender; or
  • a recipient holding the sender’s express written waiver.

Therefore:

Franchisee investigation

A complaint sent to GLS Italy can be forwarded to the responsible franchisee. That franchisee investigates the transport responsibility and can issue the response.

Conciliation and AGCOM

When the formal complaint produces no satisfactory outcome, the current Charter describes:

  • a conciliation request with the responsible franchisee;
  • a published conciliation period;
  • a later AGCOM dispute-definition route under the stated conditions.

Use the official Service Charter and current forms. This page does not provide legal advice or predict the outcome.

Returns through GLS Italy

A merchandise return remains controlled by the merchant, marketplace, or applicable consumer process.

GLS Italy’s 2026 Shop Return Service is a merchant-configured workflow:

  1. the customer starts the return through the merchant-linked platform;
  2. the system provides a PDF return label;
  3. the parcel is deposited at an eligible GLS Point;
  4. GLS transports the authorised return.

This does not mean:

  • any purchase can be returned at any GLS Point;
  • the original delivery number becomes a return number;
  • GLS approves the refund;
  • a drop-off receipt proves that the merchant accepted the goods;
  • the refund is complete.

Follow the merchant’s instructions before taking the parcel to a Shop or Point.

GLS Italy scam and privacy safety

GLS Italy states that it does not request credit-card payments by SMS or email.

Treat an unexpected payment, identity, or rescheduling message cautiously even when it contains a plausible tracking number.

Safer verification steps

  • open the official GLS Italy site directly;
  • enter the carrier reference independently;
  • verify the exact sender address;
  • avoid suspicious attachments;
  • do not pay through an unexpected link;
  • do not disclose a delivery PIN, locker credential, signature, or identity document;
  • report brand abuse through the official security channel;
  • contact the payment provider and police when money or sensitive data was already disclosed.

RCS blue tick

GLS Italy explains that compatible Android devices and supported mobile networks can display a verified RCS sender with a blue tick.

This can be a useful signal, but:

  • not every device supports it;
  • not every operator supports it;
  • absence of a tick does not prove fraud;
  • a tick does not replace independent verification of an unusual request.

Fake couriers

GLS also warns about people impersonating drivers. Verify unusual behaviour through official channels. Do not confront a suspected impersonator.

11Tracking should receive only the minimum carrier identifier needed for the supported request. Do not submit full address data, ZIP when not required, identity documents, delivery PINs, QR codes, signatures, photos, or complaint files.

Frequently asked questions

Is GLS Italy the same as GLS Group?

GLS Italy is the Italian national network within GLS Group. Italy has its own reference modes, local franchise/Sede structure, status wording, recipient options, proof services, and complaint framework.

Which GLS Italy number should I enter?

Use the carrier reference supplied by the sender and choose the matching mode: National Shipment, International Shipment, ID Collo, or DDT. Do not enter the merchant order number.

What format is a national GLS Italy number?

Current official guidance describes one or two letters followed by eight or nine digits. Copy the complete reference rather than enforcing an example as a universal rule.

What format is an international GLS Italy number?

Current official pages describe numeric references of eleven or twelve digits. The official international tracker can also request destination ZIP code.

What is ID Collo?

ID Collo is the package-level number printed below the parcel barcode. Official help says to remove leading zeros and the final GLS letters before lookup.

Can I track with my name or order number?

No. GLS Italy says name and address are not enough to locate a parcel. Ask the sender for the GLS reference.

Does a new GLS reference mean GLS collected the parcel?

No. A label or reference can be created before collection. Look for a later operational scan confirming physical handling.

Why has the tracking not changed for several days?

GLS Italy records events when labels are read. Long domestic or international routes can have multi-day scan gaps. Escalate when the expected date passes or an exception requires action.

What does AFFIDATA AL CORRISPONDENTE mean?

GLS assigned the final delivery stage to a local correspondent, often for a remote area or smaller island. It does not mean delivered and does not guarantee a second tracking number.

What does SPEDIZIONE IN GIACENZA mean?

The parcel is stored while GLS waits for sender instructions. Contact the seller or sender because they control the release.

Can I change the delivery address myself?

Usually the sender controls address correction. An eligible FlexDelivery shipment can permit a limited alternative address within the original destination Sede’s area.

Will GLS Italy always make two attempts?

No universal guarantee applies. Current standard recipient guidance describes first and second attempts, but FlexDelivery, Shop, depot, storage, refusal, wrong-address, and contract-specific branches can change the route.

How long does GLS Shop hold a parcel?

Current official GLS Shop guidance states ten days, with a reminder after five. Follow the exact deadline in the shipment notification because service rules can change.

Does the same rule apply to lockers and depots?

No. Locker instructions are shipment-specific. DepotPickupService has its own current collection timeframe, while general depot storage can follow another branch.

Can I download proof of delivery?

Not necessarily. PODService is an optional account-holder service for compatible shipments. Ask the sender or payer to request the available proof.

Who files a claim?

Frequently the sender or party that paid for carriage. A recipient can report the issue and may be allowed to file a complaint, but compensation entitlement is a separate question.

Can 11Tracking change a GLS Italy delivery?

No. 11Tracking can display supported public events. It cannot select FlexDelivery options, correct an address, release storage, contact the driver, retrieve restricted POD, file a complaint, or approve a refund.

Official GLS Italy actions

Use the official surface for the action you need:

Using 11Tracking and USTracking

11Tracking can display supported public GLS Italy events for one supported carrier identifier at a time. USTracking can help organise supported tracking records and observe later public updates.

Neither service can:

  • identify a parcel from a name or address;
  • create a missing scan;
  • prove physical collection without a carrier event;
  • unlock ZIP-gated official details;
  • choose FlexDelivery options;
  • correct an address;
  • release a shipment from giacenza;
  • contact the driver or local correspondent;
  • open a Shop, locker, or depot;
  • retrieve restricted POD;
  • file a complaint or claim;
  • approve a return, replacement, or refund;
  • guarantee delivery.

Use official GLS Italy and sender-controlled processes for shipment-specific actions.
