ISRAEL POST PACKAGE TRACKING

Israel Post Tracking

Track one supported Israel Post shipment number at a time. Israel Post, also called Doar Israel, is privately owned after its 2024 privatization but remains a regulated national postal operator and Israel’s UPU designated operator. Domestic numeric and international postal identifiers coexist; foreign-post dispatch does not prove Israel Post receipt; arrival in Israel does not prove customs release; a delivery-point assignment does not mean ready for pickup; and an SMS notice is not proof of delivery by itself.

Spaces and dashes are accepted.

Independent tracking lookup. 11Tracking is not Israel Post and cannot manage an Israel Post delivery. Enter one supported Israel Post shipment number. Retailer or marketplace orders, customs or tax references, My Post credentials, phone or client numbers, Israeli ID, proof passwords, signatures, certificates, payment data, and claim documents are not available on this form.

Track one supported Israel Post shipment number at a time. Use the postal or courier number supplied by the sender, seller, marketplace shipping record, or an official postal receipt—not a retailer order, customs reference, Israeli identity number, tax-payment reference, branch appointment, delivery-point shelf code, mobile number, My Post login, proof password, signature link, claim case, or banking reference.

Israel Post, also called Doar Israel from the Hebrew דואר ישראל, is operated by Israel Postal Company Ltd. The company became privately owned after the full privatization completed on November 14, 2024. It nevertheless remains a regulated general postal-license holder, Israel’s Universal Postal Union designated operator, and the national EMS operator.

A recognized number proves that the queried system found an item record. It does not prove that Israel Post physically has the item. For an inbound international shipment, the foreign origin post can publish acceptance and dispatch before Israel Post receives the item in Israel.

Domestic numeric identifiers and international postal identifiers coexist. No single prefix, suffix, length, or regular expression safely identifies every Israel Post service. An inbound item can retain the country-code suffix of the foreign origin post; that suffix does not prove which operator possesses the item now.

Keep the evidence stages separate:

Israel Post and the Israel Tax Authority are separate actors. Israel Post can provide postal processing, brokerage, customs-payment interfaces, sorting, delivery points, and delivery. The Tax Authority makes the government assessment, inspection, release, appeal, and refund decisions.

Some official Israel Post records can expose protected delivery certificates or receiver signatures and can require a mobile number or client number. Use those fields only in the independently opened official Israel Post process. Do not enter phone numbers, Israeli ID, card data, My Post credentials, proof passwords, signatures, customs documents, or payment information into an independent tracking form.

11Tracking can display supported public tracking events. It cannot contact Israel Post, the sender, a foreign post, a delivery point, customs, or the seller; redirect a parcel; pay import tax; access My Post; retrieve protected proof; file a claim; recover an item; issue a refund; or guarantee delivery.

Where can I find the tracking number?

Check:

  • sender’s posting receipt;
  • Israel Post label or receipt;
  • seller shipping notice;
  • marketplace carrier details;
  • foreign origin-post record;
  • official Israel Post tracking page.

A seller order number remains useful for the commercial dispute, but it may not work in postal tracking.

Does every Israel Post number contain 13 characters?

No.

Official sources support at least two materially different families:

  • domestic numeric identifiers, including an official eight-digit courier example;
  • international postal and EMS identifiers commonly using 13 alphanumeric characters.

That does not prove:

  • every domestic number has eight digits;
  • every international product has the same format;
  • every 13-character number belongs to Israel Post;
  • every observed pattern is supported by the active provider.

Why can an international number end in IL?

An outbound postal item issued by Israel Post can carry an IL country-code suffix under the applicable postal identifier system.

An inbound item can retain another postal operator’s suffix.

suffix
=
issuing postal context

Do not decide the current carrier from the last two letters alone.

Can the first letter identify EMS, registered mail, or a parcel?

Sometimes it can help classify the postal family.

International postal identifiers can use service-related initial letters, but the first letter alone does not prove:

  • the exact product;
  • current carrier;
  • delivery speed;
  • proof type;
  • customs treatment;
  • compensation;
  • provider support.

Use the verified service record and current tracking source.

Can I enter a foreign-post number?

Often, yes, when Israel Post has received electronic or physical item data and the active provider supports it.

The same number may work in both:

  • the origin post’s official tracker for early events;
  • Israel Post’s tracker for Israel-side customs, sorting, pickup, and delivery.

The two histories can be incomplete or update at different times.

Why does my number show no result?

Possible explanations include:

  • typing error;
  • spaces or symbols rejected by the current interface;
  • electronic record not yet exchanged;
  • item accepted only by the foreign origin post;
  • Israel Post has not received the item-level event;
  • wrong domestic or international provider mapping;
  • retailer order entered instead of a postal number;
  • customs or tax reference entered;
  • branch, queue, pickup, proof, or account reference entered;
  • unsupported service;
  • old record;
  • provider or Israel Post outage;
  • site transition;
  • synchronization delay.

A no-result response does not, by itself, prove fraud, loss, or that the sender never posted the item.

See Tracking Number Not Found or Not Active for the general diagnostic process.

Israel Post, Doar Israel, ownership, and regulation

Is Doar Israel the same as Israel Post?

Yes.

דואר ישראל is the Hebrew public name. Doar Israel or Doar Yisrael is a transliteration of that name.

The legal company is Israel Postal Company Ltd.

Is Israel Post still state-owned?

No.

The State completed the full privatization on November 14, 2024. Israel Post is now privately owned.

Older pages and third-party profiles may still describe it as government-owned. That description is no longer current.

Did privatization end Israel Post’s national postal role?

No.

Israel Post remains:

  • a regulated general postal-license holder;
  • subject to Ministry of Communications oversight;
  • Israel’s Universal Postal Union designated operator;
  • Israel’s national EMS operator.

Is EMS Israel a separate courier company?

No.

EMS Israel is the international express postal service operated by Israel Post within the EMS Cooperative network.

It is not DHL Express, FedEx, UPS, or a separate domestic legal company.

Is Israel Post the same as the Israel Tax Authority?

No.

Israel Post can provide customs-related logistics, brokerage, notification, and payment interfaces. The Tax Authority controls the government customs decision.

Are foreign postal operators Israel Post aliases?

No.

USPS, Royal Mail, China Post, Canada Post, Australia Post, PostNL, Deutsche Post, Singapore Post, Hongkong Post, and other designated operators remain separate.

They can share the same international item number across a postal route without becoming one company.

Are delivery-point shops Israel Post?

A shop or partner can act as an Israel Post delivery point for the item.

It is not a separate postal carrier and does not automatically control the international or customs stages.

Which Israel Post service is involved?

Israel Post is not one product.

Domestic registered mail

Current official material supports:

  • posting receipt;
  • unique tracking number;
  • postal tracking;
  • delivery evidence;
  • current digital delivery confirmation.

Domestic registered mail should not be confused with:

  • ordinary untracked mail;
  • domestic courier;
  • domestic parcel;
  • international registered mail;
  • court-service rules.

Domestic courier and express

Domestic courier services can use numeric identifiers and product-specific route, attempt, proof, timing, and compensation rules.

Do not apply courier promises to registered mail, parcel post, EMS, or EcoPost.

Domestic parcels

Domestic parcel service has its own posting, delivery, pickup, inquiry, and compensation framework.

Its identifier is not necessarily the same as an international parcel number.

International registered mail

International registered mail can provide proof of posting and international tracking under the named service.

Destination events can depend on the foreign postal operator.

Current July 2026 Israel Post tariffs indicate that outgoing registered international mail for goods was discontinued and the current outgoing registered service is limited to documents.

This does not mean that:

  • older outgoing registered-goods items disappear;
  • inbound foreign registered goods cannot arrive;
  • existing registered-goods numbers are invalid;
  • every international good must use the same replacement service.

International postal parcels

International parcel post is separate from registered letters, EMS, and EcoPost.

It can use different:

  • identifiers;
  • customs documents;
  • weight and size rules;
  • destination-post events;
  • inquiry periods;
  • compensation rules.

EMS

EMS is Israel Post’s international express postal-network product.

Current official evidence supports:

  • a 13-character EMS identifier;
  • tracking across postal operators;
  • delivery against signature under the named service;
  • service-specific inquiry and compensation conditions;
  • optional expanded coverage in eligible contexts.

EMS priority does not guarantee delivery time.

EcoPost

EcoPost is a tracked international product distinct from EMS and registered mail.

Current official material describes milestones such as:

  • acceptance;
  • dispatch from Israel;
  • arrival abroad;
  • delivery attempt;
  • final delivery.

Current EcoPost tracking does not report customs events.

Incoming ecommerce parcels

An incoming ecommerce parcel can involve:

  • seller or marketplace;
  • foreign postal operator;
  • consolidator;
  • customs;
  • Israel Post;
  • delivery point;
  • private destination carrier in some routes.

The marketplace order remains separate from the postal item number.

International postal handoff and foreign-post tracking

An international postal item can keep the same standard identifier across several operators.

A typical inbound route can be:

sender
→ foreign origin post
→ origin exchange office
→ international transport
→ arrival in Israel
→ customs
→ Israel Post sorting
→ branch, delivery point, or courier
→ recipient

Does foreign-post dispatch mean Israel Post has the item?

No.

A mailbag, dispatch, or transport record can move before Israel Post publishes an item-level receipt.

Why can the origin post show more events?

The origin post can control:

  • posting;
  • domestic origin sorting;
  • dispatch abroad;
  • export exchange.

Israel Post can control:

  • arrival in Israel;
  • customs-related updates;
  • local sorting;
  • delivery-point assignment;
  • pickup;
  • delivery;
  • return.

The systems can update at different times.

Can the same number work in both trackers?

Yes, for many standard international postal items.

Use:

  • origin post’s official tracker for early events;
  • Israel Post for Israel-side processing;
  • destination post for outgoing Israel Post items after destination acceptance.

Does the foreign suffix mean the foreign post still has the item?

No.

An inbound item can retain its original country-code suffix after Israel Post receives it.

Can an aggregator combine both histories?

It can display available public records from more than one operator.

It must not hide which operator published each event or treat electronic data as physical acceptance.

For the broader model, see How International Package Tracking Works.

Domestic registered mail and the 2026 digital confirmation

Current Israel Post material states that the physical delivery-confirmation forms used for the named domestic registered-mail service were discontinued from January 1, 2026.

The replacement is a digital delivery confirmation generated from Israel Post system data.

What is the new digital delivery confirmation?

The current process separates three objects:

SMS message
=
notification or delivery channel

digital delivery-confirmation attachment
=
carrier-generated evidence based on Israel Post system data

receiver signature or transport certificate
=
a separate protected proof object where available

The sender can receive the digital confirmation as an attachment through an SMS after delivery.

Is the SMS itself proof of delivery?

No.

Israel Post’s Postal Guide states that an SMS update is informational and is not, by itself, proof of delivery or proof of the item’s fate.

That means:

  • a status SMS is not automatically a delivery certificate;
  • a pickup SMS does not prove collection;
  • a message claiming delivery is not automatically the protected confirmation file;
  • a copied SMS does not authenticate the sender or link.

Is the digital confirmation the receiver’s signature?

Not necessarily.

A digital delivery confirmation generated from system data is different from:

  • receiver-signature image or record;
  • transport certificate;
  • scanned historical confirmation;
  • tracker status;
  • branch pickup record;
  • legal-service certificate.

Can I view the receiver signature?

The official tracking environment can expose a receiver-signature or certificate action for eligible records.

Availability can depend on:

  • service;
  • item;
  • delivery type;
  • data retention;
  • privacy;
  • official access verification.

A signature is not guaranteed for every Delivered item.

Why does the official tracker ask for a mobile or client number?

That information can protect delivery proof.

It is not the parcel tracking number.

Use it only in the independently opened official Israel Post tracker when you are authorized.

Do not enter a mobile number, client number, password, proof token, signature link, or delivery certificate into 11Tracking.

What does a receiver signature prove?

A carrier-held signature can support that a person signed in the recorded delivery process.

It does not automatically prove:

  • the signer was the named addressee;
  • the signer was authorized;
  • the address was correct;
  • the item was intact;
  • the contents were complete;
  • a court or authority will treat service as legally valid.

Can digital confirmation prove legal service?

This page cannot determine that.

The legal effect can depend on:

  • document type;
  • service purchased;
  • sender instructions;
  • addressee;
  • signer;
  • statutory rules;
  • court procedure;
  • timing;
  • other evidence.

Use qualified legal advice when the proof affects a court, government, employment, tax, or contractual deadline.

What about items posted before 2026?

Older physical forms, scanned confirmations, or separate proof products can remain relevant.

The 2026 change should not be used to invalidate historical evidence or imply that every service now uses the same confirmation.

For the broader evidence model, see Proof of Delivery.

Customs, import tax, and Israel Post

Israel Post and the Israel Tax Authority are different actors.

Depending on the shipment and service, Israel Post can:

  • receive advance customs data;
  • notify the recipient;
  • provide a customs-payment interface;
  • act as broker or transmit documents;
  • collect an eligible payment through an official process;
  • move a released parcel into sorting and delivery.

The Israel Tax Authority can:

  • display the government customs status;
  • assess import tax;
  • inspect;
  • request documents;
  • release or refuse;
  • decide appeals;
  • process eligible refunds.

What does arrival in Israel prove?

It proves that the item is represented as arriving in the destination country.

It does not prove:

  • Israel Post item-level receipt;
  • customs review completed;
  • tax calculated;
  • tax paid;
  • customs release;
  • sorting started;
  • branch assignment;
  • pickup readiness.

What does a customs information request mean?

It can mean that an official actor requires:

  • invoice;
  • proof of purchase;
  • value;
  • goods description;
  • identity;
  • permit;
  • tax information;
  • clarification from the sender or recipient.

Use only the specifically named official Israel Post, broker, or Tax Authority process.

Does an import-tax assessment mean the parcel was released?

No.

Use separate stages:

customs data
→ tax or document assessment
→ payment or response
→ government release
→ physical postal handoff
→ Israel Post sorting
→ delivery assignment

Does tax payment mean Israel Post has the parcel?

No.

Payment confirms the protected transaction or tax record.

It does not prove:

  • customs warehouse release;
  • physical transfer;
  • item-level Israel Post scan;
  • branch arrival;
  • readiness;
  • delivery.

Does customs release mean the parcel is ready for pickup?

No.

After release, the item can still require:

  • customs handoff;
  • deconsolidation;
  • warehouse release;
  • item-level scanning;
  • sorting;
  • routing;
  • branch or delivery-point intake;
  • notification.

Why can EcoPost show no customs events?

Current official EcoPost tracking does not report customs events in its standard tracking sequence.

Use the destination authority or postal operator when the product timeline does not expose that stage.

Who decides import tax?

The Israel Tax Authority.

Israel Post can provide a payment or brokerage interface but does not become the government decision-maker.

Where should I pay import tax?

Use an independently verified official Israel Post or Israel Tax Authority process.

A legitimate protected government postal-package payment process can require:

  • package number;
  • Israeli identity number;
  • card payment.

These fields belong only in the official system.

Do not enter them into 11Tracking, public forums, support screenshots, or an unverified message link.

Does a real tracking number authenticate a tax-payment link?

No.

Verify:

  1. the item in an independently opened official tracker;
  2. the exact official domain;
  3. the customs status;
  4. the package number;
  5. the recipient context;
  6. the payment amount.

Can 11Tracking pay customs or upload documents?

No.

It cannot:

  • determine the tax amount;
  • verify Israeli identity;
  • upload invoices;
  • submit goods descriptions;
  • pay tax;
  • file an appeal;
  • request a refund;
  • act as customs broker;
  • change a government decision.

For the general process, see Package Stuck in Customs.

Delivery points, pickup, diversion, and My Post

Israel Post can route selected items through:

  • post offices;
  • postal agencies;
  • external delivery points;
  • eligible pickup partners;
  • courier delivery;
  • home-delivery services.

A shop acting as a delivery point is not a separate carrier.

Does “assigned to a delivery point” mean ready for pickup?

No.

Keep the stages separate:

point selected or assigned
→ item physically arrives at the point
→ official Ready for pickup event
→ recipient collects

Assignment is a routing decision.

It does not prove:

  • physical point intake;
  • shelf placement;
  • notification;
  • holding period started;
  • collection readiness.

What confirms readiness?

Look for an explicit official event or message such as:

  • Ready for pickup;
  • available for collection;
  • item received at the named point;
  • collection notice tied to the current tracker record.

Can I redirect an incoming parcel?

Some eligible incoming shipments can be redirected before arrival in Israel through an official protected workflow.

Eligibility can depend on:

  • shipment type;
  • stage;
  • available delivery points;
  • destination;
  • contact data;
  • current service rules.

The official action can require the tracking number and phone or email.

11Tracking cannot perform the redirection.

Is the selected delivery point guaranteed?

No.

The selected point may be unavailable, full, closed, or unable to accept the item. Israel Post can route it to another linked or nearby point under the applicable service.

How long will Israel Post hold my parcel?

No universal holding period was confirmed.

Current official material refers to 14 days for a specified incoming-ecommerce delivery-point context.

That period should not be applied automatically to:

  • every branch;
  • every domestic registered item;
  • EMS;
  • domestic parcel;
  • customs-held item;
  • legal document;
  • every external point.

Use the exact item notice and current service rules.

Can another person collect the item?

It can depend on:

  • service;
  • item type;
  • recipient identity;
  • authorization;
  • branch or point;
  • official notice;
  • local rules.

Do not rely on a universal authorization rule.

What is My Post?

My Post is a protected Israel Post account and service environment.

It can support selected functions such as:

  • enhanced tracking;
  • customs payment;
  • delivery management;
  • home-delivery options;
  • account-specific services.

A My Post username, password, phone, client number, or token is not a public tracking number.

Can every item be upgraded to home delivery?

No.

Eligibility can depend on:

  • service;
  • item stage;
  • address printed on the item;
  • destination;
  • tax status;
  • size and weight;
  • payment;
  • current capacity.

Current service material indicates that some taxed items or address-change situations can be ineligible.

Can 11Tracking choose a point or schedule delivery?

No.

It cannot:

  • redirect;
  • select a delivery point;
  • change address;
  • extend holding;
  • schedule home delivery;
  • pay for an upgrade;
  • enter My Post credentials;
  • create an authorization;
  • book a branch appointment.

See Change or Hold a Package for the broader action boundaries.

Read the raw Israel Post event

Israel Post does not publish one complete English status dictionary for every domestic, international, customs, pickup, proof, and return service.

Preserve:

  • exact event wording;
  • date and time;
  • location;
  • publishing operator;
  • service;
  • original and foreign-post tracking numbers;
  • proof availability;
  • official notification.

Electronic information received

This can mean that shipment data was created or transmitted.

It does not prove physical posting or Israel Post possession.

Accepted or posted

An attributable acceptance or posting event is stronger evidence of physical receipt by the named postal operator.

It does not prove:

  • dispatch abroad;
  • arrival in Israel;
  • customs release;
  • delivery.

Dispatched abroad

This supports an origin international-exchange stage.

It does not prove a specific flight, Israel arrival, or item-level Israel Post receipt.

Arrived in Israel

This supports destination-country arrival.

It does not prove customs release or sorting.

Released from customs

This supports a release outcome.

It does not prove:

  • the item left the customs facility;
  • Israel Post scanned it;
  • the branch has it;
  • it is ready for pickup.

Sorting-centre processing

This supports postal processing at the represented facility.

It does not establish local readiness.

Transferred to a delivery unit

This supports routing toward a local branch, point, or courier unit.

It does not prove physical arrival there.

Assigned to delivery point

This means a point was selected.

It does not mean ready for pickup.

Arrived at delivery point

This is stronger point-intake evidence.

The user should still wait for the official collection-ready event.

Ready for pickup

This confirms collection readiness at the named official location.

It does not prove:

  • collection completed;
  • one universal ID rule;
  • one universal authorization rule;
  • one universal holding period.

Out for Delivery

This confirms a local route representation.

It does not guarantee:

  • exact delivery time;
  • same-day completion;
  • successful contact;
  • personal handover.

Delivery attempted

An attempt can reflect:

  • no answer;
  • access problem;
  • address problem;
  • refusal;
  • identification issue;
  • another service-specific exception.

No universal retry or return rule was confirmed.

Delivered

Delivered is the publishing system’s operational completion record.

It does not automatically prove:

  • the named addressee personally received it;
  • the signer was authorized;
  • the address was correct;
  • the package was intact;
  • contents were complete;
  • a signature or certificate exists;
  • legal service was effective.

Returned to sender

This supports reverse completion to the sender or origin network.

It does not prove:

  • seller refund;
  • marketplace remedy;
  • customs refund;
  • compensation.

Why Israel Post tracking can stop updating

A scan gap is an information condition, not a diagnosis.

Possible explanations include:

  • electronic record created before physical posting;
  • foreign origin post accepted the item but has not dispatched it;
  • origin dispatch without Israel item-level receipt;
  • reduced international transport capacity;
  • destination arrival without a public customs event;
  • customs document, identity, or payment dependency;
  • customs release without physical postal handoff;
  • item in deconsolidation or sorting;
  • delivery point assigned but not yet received;
  • item awaiting courier route;
  • EcoPost product does not report customs events;
  • destination-post events not returned to Israel Post;
  • delayed SMS or system synchronization;
  • actual operational delay;
  • wrong postal, merchant, customs, branch, or account reference.

Current international disruption

Current Israel Post international-service material warns that reduced flights to and from Israel and conditions in destination countries can cause delays.

This is current operational context, not proof that every item is delayed.

EMS items can receive priority in handling, but that priority does not guarantee delivery time.

Do not use one universal wait period

Do not apply one fixed rule such as:

  • wait 7 days;
  • wait 30 days;
  • wait 3 months;
  • wait 6 months;
  • wait 18 months.

Those periods can represent different service expectations, inquiry windows, or legal contexts.

Use observable triggers:

  • sender claims posting, but no acceptance exists;
  • foreign post dispatch remains without Israel arrival beyond the applicable service expectation;
  • customs requests documents, ID, or payment;
  • customs release is followed by no Israel Post movement;
  • a delivery point is assigned but not ready;
  • a pickup deadline may be running;
  • Out for Delivery does not complete;
  • Delivered conflicts with receipt;
  • marketplace, card, insurance, or legal deadline approaches;
  • protected proof may expire.

For the general diagnostic model, see Tracking Not Updating or Package Not Moving.

Delivery attempts, pickup, and proof

How many delivery attempts does Israel Post make?

No universal attempt count was confirmed.

The answer can depend on:

  • domestic registered mail;
  • courier;
  • parcel;
  • EMS;
  • EcoPost;
  • destination post;
  • external delivery point;
  • address or identification issue.

Does Out for Delivery guarantee delivery today?

No.

It records a local route state, not a guarantee.

Use Out for Delivery but Not Delivered when the route does not complete.

What does Delivered prove?

It proves that Israel Post or a postal partner recorded a completed result.

It does not automatically prove:

  • personal receipt by the named addressee;
  • correct placement;
  • correct identity;
  • intact condition;
  • complete contents;
  • signature;
  • certificate;
  • photo;
  • GPS.

Is signature always available?

No.

It depends on the service, delivery method, postal operator, data exchange, privacy, and retention.

Is digital delivery confirmation always available?

No.

The current 2026 process is confirmed for the named domestic registered-mail service. Other products can use different proof.

Can a delivery-point collection count as Delivered?

Yes, the carrier can record completion when the item is collected at the official point.

The event does not independently establish every identity or condition conclusion.

What if Delivered conflicts with receipt?

Check:

  1. which operator published the event;
  2. exact time and location;
  3. branch, point, household, reception, or authorized receiver;
  4. protected signature, certificate, or digital confirmation if available;
  5. sender and seller records;
  6. marketplace and payment deadlines;
  7. the correct postal inquiry actor.

Use Delivered but Package Not Received for the general process.

Can 11Tracking retrieve the signature or delivery certificate?

No.

It cannot retrieve or store:

  • signature;
  • digital confirmation attachment;
  • transport certificate;
  • receiver name;
  • mobile number;
  • client number;
  • branch internal record;
  • protected proof scan.

Non-delivery, pickup failure, and return

No single non-delivery path applies to every Israel Post service.

The next stage can depend on:

  • domestic registered mail;
  • domestic courier;
  • domestic parcel;
  • EMS;
  • EcoPost;
  • international registered mail;
  • destination post;
  • external delivery point;
  • customs;
  • address;
  • recipient action.

A possible sequence is:

attempt or delivery exception
→ retry, branch, point, correction, or holding
→ collection deadline or instruction
→ return decision
→ reverse movement
→ sender or origin-post receipt
→ seller or marketplace remedy

Does an unsuccessful attempt mean immediate return?

No.

The item may instead be:

  • retried;
  • transferred to a branch;
  • assigned to a delivery point;
  • held for collection;
  • delayed by an address or identification issue;
  • returned under the applicable service.

Read the exact event.

What happens if I do not collect the parcel?

The result can depend on the item and location.

It can include:

  • another notice;
  • continued holding;
  • transfer;
  • return;
  • service-specific handling.

Do not assume that every item has the same 14-day period.

Can an address or phone problem stop delivery?

Yes.

An incorrect or missing address or contact detail can affect:

  • SMS;
  • customs request;
  • point assignment;
  • courier contact;
  • home-delivery eligibility;
  • pickup instructions.

The sender or seller can control the original shipment data.

Does Return to Sender mean the seller received it?

No.

A reverse postal route can include:

return decision
→ local reverse processing
→ international exchange
→ origin-post intake
→ sender delivery

A return event in Israel does not prove the sender or merchant received it.

Does return guarantee a refund?

No.

The seller, marketplace, or payment provider controls the commercial remedy.

Can 11Tracking stop a return or extend pickup?

No.

It cannot:

  • change the branch;
  • extend the holding period;
  • authorize another collector;
  • correct the address;
  • create re-delivery;
  • stop return;
  • contact the sender;
  • issue a refund.

Postal inquiries, claimant, and compensation

Israel Post’s formal postal inquiry and compensation structure is service-specific.

The current Postal Guide states that the sender, successor, or authorized representative is the person entitled to claim compensation under the applicable postal rules.

The recipient is not automatically the formal transport claimant.

What can the recipient do?

The recipient can:

  • report non-receipt;
  • provide a declaration where required;
  • preserve tracking and proof;
  • contact Israel Post for local information;
  • contact the seller or sender;
  • use marketplace or payment remedies;
  • cooperate with the formal claimant.

Who should open the postal inquiry?

Often the sender or the party holding the posting contract and receipt.

The correct actor can depend on:

  • domestic or international service;
  • origin post;
  • Israel Post;
  • destination post;
  • seller;
  • marketplace;
  • insurer;
  • contractual terms.

What is the 18-month period?

The current Postal Guide supports an inquiry period of up to 18 months from the day after posting for specified domestic registered, parcel, or express items.

This is not:

  • one universal Israel Post deadline;
  • a marketplace dispute deadline;
  • a court limitation period;
  • a reason to wait 18 months before reporting a problem.

What is the six-month period?

The current guide supports an inquiry period of up to six months for specified international registered items, EcoPost items, and international parcels.

What is the three-month EMS period?

The guide supports an inquiry period of up to three months for EMS or Platinum EMS.

What is EcoPost’s 20-working-day minimum?

Current EcoPost terms indicate that an inquiry can be filed no earlier than 20 working days after posting and no later than six months.

That is a product-specific postal procedure.

It does not override:

  • marketplace deadlines;
  • card or payment-provider deadlines;
  • insurance notice;
  • customs appeal;
  • legal deadline;
  • urgent evidence preservation.

Can several deadlines run at once?

Yes.

A shipment can involve:

  • Israel Post inquiry period;
  • foreign postal inquiry;
  • destination-post inquiry;
  • marketplace dispute;
  • card or payment-provider process;
  • insurance notice;
  • customs appeal;
  • court or statutory period.

This page cannot determine which legal deadline governs your case.

How much compensation does Israel Post pay?

No single amount applies.

Current official sources use different frameworks, including:

  • service-marketing amounts in USD;
  • SDR-based postal compensation;
  • direct-loss limits;
  • declared-value or insurance options;
  • optional expanded EMS coverage;
  • exclusions and packaging conditions.

Do not assume:

  • EMS always pays USD 150;
  • EcoPost always pays USD 100;
  • the recipient receives the stated amount;
  • full item value is covered;
  • delayed delivery always creates compensation.

What does a marketing compensation amount mean?

It is a service-specific statement subject to current terms.

The actual result can depend on:

  • service;
  • route;
  • posting receipt;
  • sender status;
  • inquiry timing;
  • contents;
  • packaging;
  • value;
  • insurance;
  • direct-loss rules;
  • exclusions;
  • evidence.

Can the recipient receive compensation directly?

Not automatically.

The formal claimant can be the sender, successor, or authorized representative under the applicable postal rule.

The recipient can still pursue the commercial purchase remedy through the seller or marketplace.

Does contacting support open the correct claim?

Not necessarily.

A call, chat, email, or contact form does not automatically:

  • open the formal inquiry;
  • preserve every deadline;
  • prove claimant status;
  • create compensation eligibility;
  • resolve a marketplace dispute.

Confirm the correct service-specific procedure.

What evidence should I preserve?

Keep privately:

  • posting receipt;
  • tracking number;
  • sender and recipient details;
  • retailer order;
  • seller identity;
  • invoice and value;
  • customs records;
  • tax payment;
  • raw tracking from the origin post and Israel Post;
  • SMS with phone details removed from public copies;
  • digital delivery confirmation;
  • signature or certificate;
  • package and labels;
  • damage photos;
  • delivery-point notice;
  • inquiry and claim confirmations;
  • all relevant deadlines.

Do not discard packaging before the responsible actor confirms whether inspection is required.

For the general workflow, see Package Claim Guide.

Protect Israel Post shipment, proof, and payment data

Treat these as sensitive:

  • sender and recipient names;
  • address;
  • mobile number;
  • email;
  • Israeli identity number;
  • client number;
  • My Post credentials;
  • branch or shelf information;
  • pickup authorization;
  • signature;
  • digital delivery confirmation;
  • transport certificate;
  • customs documents;
  • invoice;
  • value;
  • tax assessment;

  • claim evidence.

Public-form rule

Enter only one supported Israel Post shipment number.

Do not enter:

  • client number;
  • password;
  • My Post login;
  • Israeli ID;
  • card details;
  • proof link;
  • signature;
  • customs file;
  • claim document.

Can Israel Post send legitimate SMS messages?

Yes.

Official messages can relate to:

  • status;
  • pickup;
  • delivery;
  • customs payment;
  • digital confirmation;
  • protected delivery action.

Does a legitimate-looking SMS prove the link is safe?

No.

A message can copy:

  • Israel Post branding;
  • a real tracking number;
  • a real branch;
  • a correct tax amount;
  • a real order detail.

Verify the official domain independently.

How should I verify a postal SMS or payment request?

  1. Do not rely only on the message link.
  2. Open Israel Post tracking independently.
  3. Check the exact item and current status.
  4. Open the official Israel Post or Tax Authority service separately.
  5. Confirm the package number and recipient context.
  6. Check whether payment or identity is actually requested.
  7. Never disclose credentials or card data through an unverified page.

Can a real tracking number authenticate a seller?

No.

Can 11Tracking store or retrieve protected proof?

No.

It must not store, reveal, or transmit:

  • signature;
  • certificate;
  • digital confirmation;
  • phone;
  • client number;
  • Israeli ID;
  • card data;
  • My Post credentials;
  • private branch records.

Keep sensitive data out of public surfaces

Do not expose raw shipment or proof data in:

  • URL path or query string;
  • title;
  • canonical;
  • metadata;
  • Open Graph;
  • JSON-LD;
  • breadcrumbs;
  • public screenshots;
  • analytics;
  • dataLayer;
  • logs;
  • cache keys;
  • public source;
  • public test fixtures;
  • public AI prompts.

Frequently asked questions

What is Israel Post?

Israel Post is the public brand of Israel Postal Company Ltd., the country’s regulated national postal operator and UPU designated operator.

Is Doar Israel the same as Israel Post?

Yes. Doar Israel is a transliteration of דואר ישראל.

Is Israel Post still government-owned?

No. The full privatization was completed on November 14, 2024.

Is Israel Post still regulated?

Yes. Private ownership did not remove Ministry of Communications regulation or its designated-operator role.

Is EMS Israel a separate carrier?

No. EMS Israel is operated by Israel Post within the EMS Cooperative network.

Is Israel Post the customs authority?

No. The Israel Tax Authority makes the government customs decision.

Which number should I enter?

Enter the supported postal or courier number from the sender, postal receipt, seller shipping notice, or official postal record.

Does every Israel Post number have 13 characters?

No. Domestic numeric and international alphanumeric formats coexist.

Can a domestic number be numeric?

Yes. Official material provides a domestic numeric courier example, but that does not define every domestic product.

Does every international number end in IL?

No. An inbound item can retain the suffix of the foreign origin post.

Does an IL suffix prove Israel Post has the parcel?

No. It identifies the issuing postal context, not current possession.

Can I enter a retailer order number?

Not unless the active provider explicitly supports it. A retailer order is not automatically the postal number.

Can I enter a customs or tax reference?

No.

Can I enter my Israeli ID or card details?

No. Use those only in an independently verified official customs or payment process.

Can I enter a branch shelf number or appointment?

No. These are local service references.

Why does my tracking number show no result?

The item can be mistyped, not exchanged yet, held only by the origin post, unsupported by the active provider, old, delayed, or entered under the wrong reference class.

Does a recognized number mean Israel Post has the item?

No.

Does foreign-post dispatch mean Israel Post received it?

No.

Why can the origin post and Israel Post show different events?

They control different stages and exchange data at different times.

Can the same international number work in both systems?

Often, yes.

Does arrival in Israel mean customs cleared?

No.

Does tax payment mean the parcel was released?

No.

Does customs release mean the branch has it?

No.

What is domestic registered mail?

It is a tracked domestic postal service with posting evidence and current digital delivery confirmation under the named service.

What changed on January 1, 2026?

The physical delivery-confirmation forms used for the named domestic registered-mail service were discontinued and replaced by a digital confirmation generated from Israel Post system data.

Is an SMS proof of delivery?

No. The SMS is a message or channel. The official attached digital confirmation is a separate evidence object.

Is the digital confirmation the receiver signature?

Not necessarily.

Can I see the receiver signature?

The official tracker can expose it for eligible records through protected access.

Why does proof require a mobile or client number?

Those fields can protect private delivery evidence.

Should I enter my mobile or client number into 11Tracking?

No.

Does a signature prove the named recipient received the parcel?

Not automatically. It does not by itself prove signer identity, authority, condition, or contents.

Can digital confirmation prove legal service?

This page cannot determine its legal effect.

What is EMS Israel?

Israel Post’s international express postal-network service.

Does EMS have guaranteed delivery times?

No. Priority handling does not guarantee delivery, especially under current transport disruption.

What is EcoPost?

A tracked international Israel Post product distinct from EMS and registered mail.

Does EcoPost show customs events?

Current official EcoPost tracking does not report customs events.

Does no customs event mean customs was skipped?

No.

Can outgoing international registered mail contain goods in July 2026?

Current July 2026 tariffs indicate that the outgoing registered service is limited to documents and registered goods were discontinued under that current product.

Can older or incoming registered goods still track?

Yes.

Does every international service include signature?

No. Proof depends on the service and destination operator.

Can I redirect an incoming parcel?

Some eligible items can be redirected through the official protected workflow.

Is the selected delivery point guaranteed?

No.

Does “assigned to delivery point” mean ready?

No.

How long will Israel Post hold my parcel?

No universal period applies. A 14-day period is confirmed only for a specified incoming-ecommerce context.

Can every parcel be upgraded to home delivery?

No. Eligibility depends on service, stage, address, tax status, size, payment, and current rules.

How many delivery attempts does Israel Post make?

No universal count was confirmed.

Does Out for Delivery guarantee delivery today?

No.

What does Delivered prove?

It proves that the publishing system recorded completion. It does not automatically prove named-recipient receipt, condition, signature, certificate, photo, or GPS.

Is proof always available?

No.

Can 11Tracking retrieve proof?

No.

Why can Israel Post tracking stop updating?

Possible causes include international transport, customs, deconsolidation, sorting, point assignment, EcoPost customs invisibility, synchronization, or operational delay.

Are current flight reductions causing delays?

Israel Post currently warns that reduced flights and destination-country conditions can delay international services. That does not prove every item is delayed.

How long should I wait?

Use the service, latest event, customs or pickup deadline, and purchase-remedy deadlines. No single wait period applies.

Who can open a postal inquiry?

Often the sender or party holding the posting contract and receipt.

Is the recipient the formal claimant?

Not automatically.

What is the 18-month inquiry period?

A service-specific period for named domestic items under the current Postal Guide.

What is EcoPost’s 20-working-day minimum?

A product-specific earliest inquiry point under current EcoPost terms.

Is there one Israel Post claim deadline?

No.

How much compensation applies?

It depends on the service, sender status, posting evidence, value, insurance, packaging, direct-loss rules, exclusions, and applicable terms.

Does Israel Post always pay USD 100 or USD 150?

No.

Can a marketplace dispute run separately?

Yes. Postal, marketplace, payment, insurance, customs, and legal procedures can have different deadlines.

Can 11Tracking redirect, pay customs, access My Post, retrieve proof, file a claim, recover the parcel, or issue a refund?

No.

Scope and limitations

This page provides an evidence-based explanation of Israel Post and Doar Israel tracking, current ownership and regulation, domestic and international identifiers, foreign-post continuity, EMS, EcoPost, registered mail, postal parcels, customs, delivery points, digital delivery confirmation, signatures, inquiries, claims, privacy, and phishing risk.

It does not diagnose a live item without attributable events, identify a private courier or branch shelf, provide legal advice, determine customs liability, authenticate a payment link from a tracking number, expose protected proof, publish one universal claim rule, or guarantee delivery.

Material limits:

  • Israel Postal Company Ltd. is privately owned after the 2024 privatization while remaining regulated and Israel’s designated postal operator.
  • Doar Israel is the same public operator, not a separate carrier.
  • EMS Israel is an Israel Post service within the EMS network, not a separate legal company.
  • The Israel Tax Authority, foreign postal operators, sellers, marketplaces, delivery points, brokers, and private couriers are separate actors.
  • The public form accepts one supported Israel Post shipment number.
  • Domestic numeric and international postal identifiers coexist.
  • No universal prefix, suffix, length, character set, or regex was confirmed.
  • A foreign country-code suffix does not prove current possession.
  • Retailer orders, customs references, branch numbers, phone numbers, My Post credentials, proof tokens, and claim cases are not public shipment inputs.
  • Electronic data, posting, foreign-post acceptance, Israel Post receipt, customs, sorting, assignment, readiness, delivery, proof, and return are separate evidence stages.
  • Foreign-post dispatch does not prove Israel Post receipt.
  • Arrival in Israel does not prove customs release.
  • Tax payment does not prove physical release to postal delivery.
  • Customs release does not prove sorting or pickup readiness.
  • Delivery-point assignment does not mean the item is ready.
  • The physical delivery-confirmation form change from January 1, 2026 applies to the named domestic registered-mail process.
  • An SMS notification is not proof of delivery by itself.
  • Digital confirmation, receiver signature, and transport certificate are separate evidence objects.
  • Protected proof can require mobile or client-number verification.
  • Phone, client number, Israeli ID, card, My Post credentials, signature, certificate, customs documents, and payment data belong only in verified official systems.
  • EMS, EcoPost, registered mail, postal parcels, domestic courier, and incoming ecommerce are different services.
  • EcoPost tracking currently does not report customs events.
  • Current July 2026 outgoing registered international mail for goods was discontinued under the current tariff, while historical and inbound registered-goods tracking can still exist.
  • Israel Post customs and payment interfaces do not replace Israel Tax Authority decisions.
  • Diversion, pickup, My Post, and home-delivery services are protected and eligibility-dependent.
  • A 14-day pickup period is confirmed only for a specified incoming-ecommerce context.
  • No universal attempt count, pickup period, signature rule, proof package, delivery time, inquiry deadline, claim deadline, or compensation amount applies.
  • Current flight-reduction advisories are volatile operational context, not proof that every item is delayed.
  • The sender, successor, or authorized representative is the formal compensation claimant under the cited Postal Guide rule; the recipient is not automatically the claimant.
  • Postal inquiry periods do not replace marketplace, payment-provider, insurance, customs, or legal deadlines.
  • Delivered does not automatically prove named-recipient receipt, authorization, condition, contents, signature, certificate, photo, or GPS.
  • Return movement does not prove seller receipt or refund.
  • A real tracking number, SMS, branch detail, or tax amount does not authenticate a payment link.
  • 11Tracking and USTracking cannot contact actors, redirect, access My Post, pay customs, retrieve protected proof, file claims, recover items, issue refunds, or guarantee delivery.
