POCZTA POLSKA PACKAGE TRACKING

Poczta Polska Tracking: Pocztex, Status Codes, Awizo, Pickup Points, Lockers, and Claims

Track one supported Poczta Polska or Pocztex registered-item number. A recognised number confirms that a public record may exist; it does not by itself prove that Poczta Polska physically has the item. Electronic shipment data, posting, transport, delivery route, awizo, pickup-point custody, locker release, proof, return movement, customs processing, and complaints are separate evidence stages.

Spaces and dashes are accepted.

Independent tracking lookup. 11Tracking is not Poczta Polska and cannot manage a Poczta Polska or Pocztex delivery. Enter one supported registered-item number. Merchant orders, phone matching, pickup or locker codes, EPO/complaint references, customs or PZC documents, names, addresses, signatures, proof files, and payment credentials are not available on this form.

Enter one supported Poczta Polska or Pocztex registered-item number from the posting receipt, shipment notice, or merchant dispatch record.

A recognised number means that a public registered-item record may exist. It does not by itself prove that Poczta Polska S.A. physically has the item. Electronic shipment data, label creation, courier booking, physical posting, logistics-centre processing, transport, last-mile delivery, awizo, pickup-point custody, locker release, proof, return movement, customs processing, and a complaint are separate evidence stages.

Pocztex is Poczta Polska’s courier service and brand. It is covered on this page as a major product family rather than treated as a separate carrier.

Do not enter a merchant order, phone number, address, pickup code, app credential, complaint number, customs reference, EPO file, or return authorization into the tracking form.

11Tracking is not Poczta Polska, Pocztex, the sender, the merchant, a courier, a post office, a PUDO, a locker operator, a foreign postal operator, customs, or a complaint office. It cannot redirect the item, open a locker, retrieve a pickup code, contact the courier, obtain a signature or EPO file, clear customs, file a complaint, recover the item, or decide a refund.

Poczta Polska tracking at a glance

  • Enter: One supported Poczta Polska or Pocztex registered-item number.
  • Official examples include: A long domestic numeric number, a PX-style Pocztex identifier, and 13-character international postal identifiers.
  • Do not assume: One universal length, prefix, suffix, or regular expression covers every item.
  • A recognised number confirms: A public registered-item record may exist.
  • It does not confirm: Physical Poczta Polska possession, exact live location, delivery, recipient identity, contents, condition, or complaint outcome.
  • Otrzymano dane elektroniczne przesyłki means: Electronic shipment data exists. Physical posting is not confirmed.
  • Nadanie przesyłki means: Posting or physical carrier acceptance is recorded.
  • W TRANSPORCIE means: Network movement is recorded. It is not continuous GPS.
  • W DORĘCZENIU means: Last-mile processing is active. It is not an unconditional same-day guarantee.
  • Awizo means: A failed-delivery, pickup, or redelivery branch exists. The exact event matters.
  • Waiting for pickup: The item is in post-office, PUDO, or locker custody. It has not necessarily been collected.
  • Picked up at point: Release completion is recorded.
  • Doręczona means: Poczta Polska records delivery completion. It does not universally prove that the named addressee personally received the item.
  • Pocztex holding periods differ: Post office, PUDO, and AUTOMAT use different deadlines.
  • Universal postal holding differs again: Registered universal items use a separate regime.
  • Pickup code: A sensitive one-time release credential, not a tracking number.
  • Pocztex Mobile: Can match items through a phone number and open supported lockers, but the public tracker does not offer phone-based tracking.
  • Proof: Signature, paper proof, EPO, point release, and code-based locker pickup are different evidence objects.
  • Returns: Return posting does not prove merchant receipt or refund.
  • Complaints: Pocztex, universal postal, and EMS rules differ.
  • No universal rule: There is no single attempt count, holding period, forwarding right, proof format, complaint deadline, compensation formula, or customs timeline for every Poczta Polska item.

Track one supported registered-item number

Use the tracking form with the Poczta Polska or Pocztex item number shown on:

  • posting confirmation;
  • courier label;
  • merchant shipping notice;
  • registered-item receipt;
  • return document;
  • international postal label.

Current official identifier examples

The current public tracking page shows examples including:

  • 0015900773312345678
  • PX0000000013
  • RR123456789PL
  • CP123456789PL
  • VV123456789PL
  • EE123456789PL

These examples show several materially different families:

  • long domestic numeric identifier;
  • PX-style Pocztex identifier;
  • 13-character international postal identifiers.

Is there one Poczta Polska number format?

No.

The examples do not prove that:

  • every domestic item has 19 digits;
  • every Pocztex item begins with PX;
  • every international item has one of the shown prefixes;
  • every 13-character postal number belongs to Poczta Polska;
  • every historical or business system uses the same formats;
  • one universal regular expression can identify every item safely.

How should the number be entered?

The current tracker instructs users to enter the number:

  • without spaces;
  • without parentheses.

The runtime should preserve leading zeros and safely normalize only verified punctuation.

Can I use a merchant order?

Not automatically.

A merchant order proves that a purchase exists. It does not prove:

  • a postal item number exists;
  • the label was used;
  • Poczta Polska accepted the item;
  • the order contains only one parcel.

Can I track by phone number?

The public tracker requires an item number.

Pocztex Mobile can privately associate shipments through the phone number included with the item, but that is app-based account matching, not public phone-number tracking.

Can I enter a pickup code?

No.

A PUDO or AUTOMAT pickup code can release the item. It is not the tracking number.

Can a return have another number?

Yes.

A return, replacement label, relabelled item, or related procedure can expose another identifier.

Keep separate:

  • original number;
  • return number;
  • replacement number;
  • related procedure number;
  • merchant return authorization;
  • complaint reference;
  • refund case.

Can an international item keep the same number?

Yes.

A 13-character postal identifier can continue across several postal operators.

The current operator and physical handoff must be read from the events, not inferred from the suffix alone.

Why can one number show more than one record?

Official integration documentation describes related numbers and warns about cases in which the most recently posted item can be returned when a number appears more than once.

Do not silently merge two shipment records.

Poczta Polska, Pocztex, and EMS

Poczta Polska S.A.

Poczta Polska S.A. is Poland’s designated postal operator and the legal operator in the reviewed Pocztex and universal-service regulations.

Designated operator role

Poczta Polska was selected as Poland’s designated universal-service operator for 2026–2035.

That role covers universal postal obligations. It does not make every courier, freight, financial, or digital service a universal postal service.

What is Pocztex?

Pocztex is Poczta Polska’s domestic courier service and public brand.

Poczta Polska
= carrier and legal operator

Pocztex
= courier service, product family, consumer brand, and mobile-app identity operated by Poczta Polska

This page therefore includes Pocztex rather than creating a separate carrier identity.

Why product classification matters

The same tracking environment can cover:

  • Pocztex Kurier;
  • Pocztex Na Dziś;
  • Pocztex PUNKT;
  • Pocztex AUTOMAT;
  • postal parcels;
  • registered letters;
  • registered business letters;
  • EMS;
  • other registered international items.

Product classification can change:

  • event depth;
  • delivery commitment;
  • attempt branch;
  • holding period;
  • forwarding;
  • proof;
  • complaint timing;
  • compensation.

What is EMS?

EMS is an international express postal service carried through the EMS network and participating postal operators.

It is an international product and operator chain, not a separate domestic carrier identity.

Point and locker operators

A partner PUDO, post office, or Pocztex AUTOMAT is a pickup object.

It does not become the transport carrier.

Product classifier

Before interpreting a Poczta Polska record, identify the product where possible.

Product or objectTypical public roleImportant limitation
Pocztex KurierDomestic courier deliveryFailed delivery can enter post-office holding
Pocztex Na DziśSame-day or timed route productRoute, hour, contract, and exception limits apply

EMSInternational express postal serviceForeign operator and separate complaint rules
International S10 itemCross-border postal itemSeveral operators can publish events
eZwrotMerchant return workflowReturn acceptance does not prove refund

Registered-item coverage

The official tracker states that it provides information about registered items with proof of posting, except letters with declared value.

Registered-letter event limitation

For registered letters and registered business letters, the public tracker can show:

  • posting date;
  • delivery date;

without the full movement route.

trackable registered letter
≠ parcel-style scan history

Unregistered ordinary letters

An ordinary unregistered letter may not have public item-level tracking.

Do not infer that every Poczta Polska item is trackable.

From item data to final outcome: the evidence ladder

What changes the conclusion?

  • Electronic data becomes possession evidence after Nadanie przesyłki or another verified physical-acceptance event.
  • Transport becomes last-mile evidence after a delivery-route event.
  • Pickup-ready becomes recipient possession after a pickup-completed event.
  • Delivered becomes named-recipient evidence only when the exact proof supports that conclusion.
  • Return movement becomes merchant remedy after merchant receipt, inspection, and refund decision.
  • Complaint becomes compensation only after an accepted decision and payment.

Electronic shipment data and physical posting

Otrzymano dane elektroniczne przesyłki

The official event catalogue includes:

  • event code: P_REJ_KN1;
  • Polish event name: Otrzymano dane elektroniczne przesyłki;
  • item state: PRZYGOTOWANA.

It means:

  • an electronic item record exists;
  • shipping data or a label can exist;
  • the item is prepared in the system.

It does not establish:

  • physical handover;
  • courier pickup;
  • locker collection;
  • post-office acceptance;
  • Poczta Polska custody.
electronic item data
≠ physical posting

Merchant “shipped” messages

A merchant can say “shipped” after:

  • label generation;
  • warehouse preparation;
  • data transfer;
  • courier booking.

The message does not replace a carrier posting event.

Courier booking

A booking means collection was requested.

It does not prove:

  • courier arrived;
  • parcel was available;
  • parcel was collected;
  • posting was recorded.

Locker preparation

A user can prepare a parcel in an app before placing it in a locker.

The strongest public possession conclusion should follow a carrier acceptance or posting event.

Nadanie przesyłki

The official event code P_NAD records posting.

This is the central public physical-acceptance milestone.

Nadanie przesyłki
→ posting or carrier acceptance recorded

What posting does not prove

  • correct contents;
  • actual value;
  • packaging sufficiency;
  • hidden damage;
  • merchant legitimacy;
  • delivery.

Event codes and public status meanings

Poczta Polska’s integration documentation advises systems to map event codes rather than event names because the human-readable names can change.

event code
→ stable normalization key

event name
→ display wording that can change

Where the runtime exposes both, the public result should preserve:

  • raw code;
  • current carrier wording;
  • normalized explanation;
  • timestamp;
  • publishing operator;
  • safe facility context.

Prepared

State code:

  • PRZ

Typical evidence:

  • electronic data or preparation exists.

It is not physical acceptance.

Posted

State code:

  • NA

Core event:

  • P_NADNadanie przesyłki.

It confirms posting or physical acceptance.

In transport

State code:

  • TR

Examples can include:

  • accepted at logistics centre;
  • sent between facilities;
  • domestic or international movement.
W TRANSPORCIE
≠ exact live location
≠ exact vehicle
≠ guaranteed arrival date

In delivery

State code:

  • DOR

Delivery-route events include P_WD and related codes.

They mean last-mile processing is active.

W DORĘCZENIU
≠ guaranteed same-day completion
≠ recipient contacted
≠ exact courier location

Awizo

State code:

  • AW

The exact event can mean:

  • item waiting at post office;
  • item assigned to redelivery;
  • second notice;
  • another notification branch.

Do not reduce every awizo to one identical outcome.

Waiting for pickup

State code:

  • ODB

Events include:

  • P_DKAO;
  • P_KWD;
  • P_PWP.

These mean the item is held for pickup.

waiting for pickup
≠ collected

Picked up at point

State code:

  • OP

Events include:

  • P_OWP — picked up at point;
  • P_OWU — picked up at post office.

These are stronger release-completion events.

Delivered

State code:

  • DO

Core event:

  • P_D.

It records delivery completion.

Doręczona
→ carrier-recorded completion
≠ named addressee personally received
≠ contents or condition verified

Returned

State code:

  • ZW

Return events include:

  • unsuccessful delivery and decision to return;
  • returned to sender;
  • returned from pickup point;
  • not collected at pickup point.

Return movement does not prove sender receipt.

International departure

State code:

  • WYPL

Typical event:

  • sent from Poland.

It does not prove destination arrival.

Customs processing

State code:

  • OCP

The exact raw customs event matters. Do not replace all customs codes with one generic “customs cleared” conclusion.

Tracking gaps, invalid numbers, and corrected records

Generic invalid response

The public tracker can use the same broad message when:

  • the number is invalid;
  • no information is registered.

Do not infer one precise cause from that response.

Possible causes

  • typo;
  • spaces or parentheses;
  • merchant order entered;
  • pickup code entered;
  • electronic data not yet published;
  • item not physically posted;
  • unsupported unregistered item;
  • declared-value letter excluded;
  • old record;
  • international partner delay;
  • provider outage.

No route for a registered letter

A registered letter can legitimately show only posting and delivery dates.

The absence of parcel-style events does not prove no movement.

Related and replacement numbers

A damaged or relabelled item can receive a related or replacement number.

Preserve both when officially connected.

Duplicate or reused records

When the same number is associated with more than one item record, the integration system can return the latest posted record.

The runtime should not silently merge events from different items.

Public tracking is illustrative

Poczta Polska states that public tracking information is illustrative and is not itself the formal basis of a complaint.

Formal evidence can require:

  • posting proof;
  • official proof of delivery;
  • complaint record;
  • damage protocol;
  • product contract;
  • invoice or value evidence.

Pocztex services and delivery timing

Pocztex Kurier

Pocztex Kurier is the ordinary domestic courier product family.

It can be posted through:

  • courier;
  • post office;
  • PUDO;
  • locker.

Pocztex Na Dziś

Na Dziś is a same-day or tightly timed product for eligible routes and hours.

It has separate exceptions and must not be treated as the ordinary Pocztex baseline.

Pocztex PUNKT

PUNKT means delivery to a selected pickup point.

The selected point can be:

  • Poczta Polska post office;
  • partner PUDO.

The holding and release rules differ by point type.

Pocztex AUTOMAT

AUTOMAT means delivery to a selected self-service locker.

It uses:

  • recipient phone number;
  • one-time pickup code;
  • electronic notice;
  • app-based remote opening where supported.

D+1 wording

Pocztex business material can describe D+1 as a predicted standard.

This does not mean every Pocztex item is guaranteed next working day.

Contract-performance thresholds

The current regulation includes broader product-specific thresholds such as:

  • five working days for ordinary Kurier;
  • seven working days for 2XL or non-standard shipments.

These are contract-performance thresholds, not the ordinary ETA shown for every shipment.

Additional timed services

Depending on route, account, and product, Pocztex can include:

  • delivery by 9:00;
  • delivery by 12:00;
  • delivery after 17:00;
  • selected-day delivery;
  • Saturday pickup;
  • other contract-specific services.

Delivery window is not an appointment

A product window does not establish the exact arrival time.

Failed delivery, awizo, and redelivery

Standard Pocztex Kurier branch

After an unsuccessful home-delivery attempt, the current Pocztex regulation provides for:

  • electronic or paper notice;
  • pickup at a post office;
  • a normal seven-day holding period from the following day.

Notification channels

Depending on the shipment data and product, notice can be:

  • SMS;
  • email;
  • Pocztex Mobile;
  • paper awizo.

Absence of one channel does not prove no notice branch exists.

Reminder

Where contact data exists, the current regulation provides a reminder on the second day after the failed attempt.

Live-plant exception

A parcel containing live plants can use a forty-eight-hour post-office branch rather than the ordinary seven-day period.

Na Dziś and live-animal exceptions

Some Na Dziś, live-bird, or live-insect shipments can return immediately without ordinary pickup holding.

Redelivery events exist

The official event list includes:

  • P_ADR — notice for redelivery;
  • P_APP — item advised for redelivery;
  • P_PA — second notice.

These events show that redelivery branches exist.

They do not prove every Pocztex item receives two or three attempts.

No universal attempt count

Use the actual event record.

Do not promise:

  • one attempt for every item;
  • two attempts for every item;
  • three attempts for every item.

Attempt evidence boundary

failed attempt event
→ carrier-recorded non-completion
≠ correct address independently proved
≠ bell use proved
≠ recipient absence proved
≠ phone call proved

When does another delivery occur?

A later delivery can depend on:

  • product;
  • destination route;
  • request;
  • delivery schedule;
  • post-office operations.

Safe-place delivery after a failed attempt

Recipient instruction

In a scoped Pocztex workflow after an unsuccessful attempt, a recipient can instruct the courier by phone to leave the item in a legally permissible place directly adjacent to the delivery address.

This requires the shipment to be eligible and a phone number to be available.

System record

The execution of the instruction is recorded in Poczta Polska’s system.

Excluded products and services

The instruction is unavailable for categories including:

  • live animals or plants;
  • declared-value item;
  • paper proof of receipt;
  • EPO;
  • COD;
  • content inspection;
  • return documents;
  • personal delivery;
  • procedure items;
  • recipient-paid postage.

Risk boundary

The current regulation states that Poczta Polska is not responsible for loss, shortage, or damage occurring after compliant delivery under the recipient’s instruction.

That wording belongs to the scoped contract branch.

It does not automatically decide:

  • whether the instruction was validly given;
  • whether the courier complied;
  • whether the place was legally permissible;
  • merchant refund rights;
  • liability in a specific dispute.

Evidence ladder

safe-place instruction given
≠ safe-place delivery completed

safe-place delivery recorded
→ carrier records completion under the instruction
≠ named recipient personally collected
≠ item remained secure afterward

11Tracking limitation

11Tracking cannot:

  • call the courier;
  • collect the instruction;
  • store a safe-place description;
  • verify compliance;
  • decide liability.

Post office, Pocztex PUNKT, PUDO, and AUTOMAT

Post office

A Poczta Polska facility can:

  • accept a posting;
  • hold an item after failed delivery;
  • act as a selected PUNKT;
  • release a parcel;
  • accept a complaint or damage statement.

PUDO

A PUDO is a partner pickup or deposit location.

The partner operates the point. Poczta Polska remains the carrier.

Pocztex PUNKT

PUNKT is delivery to an approved pickup point.

A post office and a partner PUDO can both be PUNKT destinations, but their holding and release rules differ.

Pocztex AUTOMAT

AUTOMAT is a self-service locker destination.

It can support:

  • pickup;
  • posting;
  • returns;
  • app-based remote opening.

Pickup-object custody

item delivered to post office, PUDO, or locker
→ pickup-object custody
≠ recipient collected

Pickup completion

The event catalogue distinguishes pickup-ready from pickup-completed events.

picked up at point
→ release completion recorded
≠ contents or condition verified

Full or unavailable locker

When the selected locker is:

  • full;
  • unavailable;
  • unable to accept the parcel;

the item can be transferred to a nearby available point or post office, with notification.

Oversized parcel

A parcel that exceeds the point or locker’s size or weight limits can be moved to a post office.

Can the recipient choose another point after dispatch?

The current FAQ says an item already addressed to a pickup point cannot simply be redirected to another pickup point.

Sender rights and operational rerouting must not be presented as a general recipient right.

Pickup periods and reminders

Poczta Polska does not use one holding period for every product.

Pocztex post office PUNKT

  • Seven days
  • Counted from the day after notification.

Pocztex partner PUDO

  • Three days
  • Counted from the day after notification.

Pocztex AUTOMAT

  • Seventy-two hours
  • Counted from the notification.

Locker reminders

The current regulation provides reminders after:

  • twenty-four hours;
  • forty-eight hours.

Point notifications

Current consumer guidance describes:

  • ready-for-pickup notice;
  • first reminder;
  • second reminder.

Email can also be used when supplied by the sender.

Can Pocztex holding be extended?

The current Pocztex FAQ says the three-day PUDO and seven-day post-office periods cannot be extended.

This does not control universal postal-service storage.

Universal registered-item holding

The universal-service regulation effective August 1, 2026 uses:

  • fourteen days after the first notice;
  • return after expiry;
  • a separate paid request for up to another fourteen days when the facility can store the item.

Product-specific comparison

Product or objectOrdinary holding rule in reviewed evidence
Pocztex post office PUNKT7 days
Pocztex partner PUDO3 days
Pocztex AUTOMAT72 hours
Universal registered postal item under August 1, 2026 rules14 days
Additional universal storage requestUp to another 14 days, subject to conditions

Follow the final deadline shown for the actual item.

Pickup codes and Pocztex Mobile

One-time pickup code

PUDO and AUTOMAT workflows can use a one-time code to release the item.

It is a sensitive credential.

When is the code sent?

The current FAQ says the code is sent after the item is accepted into the pickup point’s inventory.

No code can mean:

  • item is not yet checked in;
  • phone or email is missing or incorrect;
  • notification failed;
  • another release route applies.

Can another person use the code?

The current Pocztex regulation treats a person who receives the code from the addressee as authorized to collect on the addressee’s behalf.

pickup code shared
→ another person can become operationally authorized

Never share the code publicly.

Remote locker opening

Pocztex Mobile can remotely open a supported locker.

11Tracking cannot perform that action.

Phone-number item matching

The app can show shipments associated with the user’s phone number.

This does not create public tracking by phone.

Sensitive fields

Never enter or publish:

  • pickup code;
  • phone number;
  • email;
  • app session;
  • locker-opening action;
  • point-release data;
  • identity document.

Sender requests and recipient forwarding

Pocztex and universal postal services use different rights.

Pocztex sender requests

Before delivery, the Pocztex sender can request, within the regulated scope:

  • withdrawal and return;
  • address change;
  • addressee change;
  • delivery-location change;
  • resending of a PUNKT or AUTOMAT pickup code.

Request limitations

The item must remain undelivered.

Some requests can incur a fee.

Certain PUNKT, PUDO, and AUTOMAT branches are excluded.

Pocztex recipient limitation

The current Pocztex regulation states that the addressee cannot demand forwarding of the shipment.

Pocztex recipient
→ no general forwarding right

Universal registered-item forwarding

The universal-service regulation effective August 1, 2026 allows an addressee to request forwarding of eligible registered items under stated conditions.

The request can remain in effect for up to twelve months.

Items delivered under special statutory procedures can be excluded.

universal registered-item recipient
→ separate forwarding service can exist

Request is not outcome

request submitted
→ eligibility checked
→ operational route updated
→ later event

A submitted request does not prove the item was changed or returned.

11Tracking cannot change the item

11Tracking and USTracking cannot:

  • submit a sender request;
  • change address or addressee;
  • demand forwarding;
  • resend a pickup code;
  • stop or return the item.

Use Change, Reroute, or Hold a Package for the broader evidence model.

COD, content inspection, and personal delivery

What is Pobranie?

Pocztex Pobranie is cash on delivery.

The sender specifies an amount, which is collected from the receiver and remitted to the sender or the sender’s account.

COD is not customs

COD
≠ VAT
≠ customs duty
≠ postal customs-declaration fee
≠ storage fee

COD payment does not verify the purchase

Payment does not prove:

  • merchant legitimacy;
  • correct contents;
  • item condition;
  • buyer authorization;
  • successful sender remittance.

Identification for high COD

The current regulation can require identity information for COD within anti-money-laundering rules.

Refusal to pay or provide required identification can be treated as refusal to accept.

What is Sprawdzenie zawartości?

Content inspection is a paid additional service.

The receiver can:

  • open the parcel;
  • compare the contents with the sender’s specification;
  • do so in the courier’s or post-office employee’s presence.

It is not a universal open-box right

Content inspection is unavailable for:

  • locker posting;
  • PUDO posting;
  • PUNKT delivery;
  • AUTOMAT delivery.

Do not demand opening unless the exact item includes that service.

Mismatch outcome

When contents differ from the specification, the receiver can:

  • accept with a protocol;
  • refuse under the documented return process.

What is Doręczenie do rąk własnych?

Personal delivery means delivery only to the named addressee.

When personal delivery cannot be completed:

  • ordinary Kurier can move to a post office;
  • Na Dziś can return without ordinary notice.

Personal delivery is unavailable for locker and PUNKT channels.

Proof of delivery, EPO, and signature

Paper Potwierdzenie odbioru

Paper proof of receipt is an additional sender-requested service.

The signed form is returned to the sender.

Electronic Proof of Receipt

EPO provides an electronic file proving delivery or return.

Under the current Pocztex regulation, EPO is available to contract senders who transmit item data electronically.

It is not available for:

  • locker posting;
  • PUDO posting;
  • PUNKT delivery;
  • AUTOMAT delivery.

Signature-availability event

The event catalogue includes a signature-availability event.

That does not establish:

  • every item has a signature;
  • every public recipient can download it;
  • the signer is always the named buyer;
  • contents or condition were verified.

Code-based pickup is a different proof object

A person using a shared pickup code can be treated as authorized.

This differs from:

  • handwritten signature;
  • paper proof;
  • EPO;
  • personal delivery.

What proof can support

Depending on the product:

  • delivery date and time;
  • delivery or pickup object;
  • receiver or authorization context;
  • signature;
  • code-based release;
  • return.

What proof does not universally prove

  • named buyer personally received;
  • correct contents;
  • item condition;
  • merchant legitimacy;
  • later possession;
  • absence of wrong-address delivery.

Public access is not universal

proof exists
≠ public recipient can retrieve it
≠ 11Tracking can retrieve it

Use Proof of Delivery, Photo, and Signature for the broader evidence model.

Delivered but not received

Doręczona is carrier-recorded completion

Doręczona
→ Poczta Polska records completion
≠ named addressee personally received
≠ correct contents or condition proved

First classify the completion object

Possible completion paths include:

  • home delivery;
  • personal delivery;
  • another authorized receiver;
  • safe-place instruction;
  • post-office pickup;
  • PUDO pickup;
  • locker pickup;
  • destination-post delivery;
  • return-related terminal event.

Preserve the evidence

Keep:

  • raw event;
  • event code;
  • timestamp;
  • publishing operator;
  • facility;
  • pickup or delivery object;
  • related number;
  • notice;
  • proof-availability state;
  • merchant shipment notice.

Action sequence

  1. Confirm whether the event is delivery or pickup completion.
  2. Check household, reception, mailroom, and authorized receivers.
  3. Check whether a pickup code was shared.
  4. Check whether a safe-place instruction existed.
  5. Review point or locker events.
  6. Contact Poczta Polska and the sender.
  7. Protect merchant, marketplace, card, and payment deadlines.
  8. Preserve packaging if the item later appears damaged.

Corrected or reordered events

Public events can be:

  • corrected;
  • delayed;
  • duplicated;
  • normalized;
  • reordered.

A temporary Delivered event that later changes needs carrier clarification. It does not by itself identify the cause.

Use Delivered but Not Received for the broader escalation model.

Registered letters and universal postal services

Registered-letter tracking

A registered letter can be covered by public tracking while showing only:

  • posting date;
  • delivery date.

Do not expect the same route detail as a Pocztex parcel.

Declared-value letters

The public tracker’s current coverage statement excludes declared-value letters.

Universal postal-service products

Universal services can include:

  • domestic registered letters;
  • declared-value letters;
  • qualifying domestic postal parcels;
  • qualifying international postal items.

The exact product determines:

  • holding;
  • forwarding;
  • proof;
  • complaint;
  • compensation.

Regulation transition

As of July 26, 2026:

  • the universal-service regulation effective February 1, 2026 remains operative;
  • a new consolidated regulation takes effect August 1, 2026.

Any implementation after August 1 must revalidate the operative rules.

Universal holding after August 1, 2026

The new regulation uses:

  • fourteen days after first notice;
  • return after expiry;
  • possible paid storage for up to another fourteen days, subject to capacity.

Universal forwarding

The addressee can request forwarding of eligible registered items under stated conditions.

This is separate from Pocztex, where the recipient has no general forwarding right.

eINFO awizo

The eINFO awizo service can replace paper notice with SMS or email for eligible items.

It requires identity authentication:

  • through a trusted profile;
  • or in person.

It becomes effective from the following day.

Certain legal-procedure documents are excluded from electronic-only notice.

Digital e-Delivery is separate

Poland’s electronic registered-delivery system is not parcel tracking and is outside this page’s scope.

International postal tracking and EMS

International identifier families

Official examples include:

  • RR...PL
  • CP...PL
  • VV...PL
  • EE...PL

The prefix can indicate a postal family, but the identifier alone does not prove which operator physically has the item.

Operator chain

An international item can involve:

  • origin postal operator;
  • Poczta Polska;
  • airline or transit operator;
  • customs;
  • destination postal operator;
  • local delivery partner.

Accepted in Poland

Event P_WEPL records acceptance in Poland.

It is stronger evidence of Poczta Polska handling than a destination assignment alone.

Sent from Poland

Event P_WYPL records departure from Poland in the published process.

sent from Poland
≠ arrived in destination country
≠ customs cleared
≠ destination operator accepted

Arrived in destination country

Event P_WEOC records a destination-country arrival event.

It does not prove:

  • customs release;
  • destination-post acceptance;
  • final delivery.

Destination operator tracking

The eMonitoring system links to foreign postal operators.

The same S10 identifier can remain useful on the destination operator’s site.

EMS scope

Current Pocztex EMS material describes:

  • door-to-door service;
  • a broad international EMS network;
  • a more limited current country list;
  • online tracking;
  • foreign-operator tracking.

The current available-country list controls, not the network headline alone.

EMS complaint regime

Current EMS rules use:

  • a four-month maximum complaint period;
  • thirty-day ordinary response;
  • up to three months when international investigation prevents a timely answer.

Do not apply domestic Pocztex or universal postal complaint rules to EMS.

Customs and July 2026 import changes

Customs is a separate authority process

Poczta Polska can:

  • present the item;
  • collect documents;
  • submit a declaration under authorization;
  • collect assessed amounts;
  • release the item after customs action.

The customs authority decides legal release.

July 1, 2026 low-value import change

Current Poczta Polska and Pocztex material states that qualifying low-value commercial imports from outside the EU can be subject to a temporary customs charge of €3 per type of goods or tariff-code category in the shipment, in addition to VAT.

Do not simplify this to:

€3 per parcel.

The exact current legal scope must be revalidated at publication.

Not a Poczta Polska tariff

Poczta Polska states that the customs amount is not its own tariff. It collects and remits the amount to the Polish customs authority.

Separate amounts

customs duty
≠ VAT
≠ Poczta Polska customs-declaration fee
≠ COD
≠ merchant shipping charge

Customs evidence ladder

documents requested
→ documents submitted
→ declaration accepted
→ amounts assessed
→ payment recorded
→ customs release
→ Poczta Polska onward processing
→ delivery

No stage proves the next.

PZC customs document

The public monitoring system can provide a certified customs declaration document no earlier than seven calendar days after delivery or pickup.

PZC is:

  • a private customs document;
  • not the tracking number;
  • not suitable for a public tracking form.

11Tracking cannot clear customs

11Tracking and USTracking cannot:

  • upload documents;
  • pay duty or VAT;
  • submit a customs declaration;
  • retrieve PZC;
  • release the item;
  • guarantee customs timing.

Use Customs Processing and Package Stuck in Customs for broader guidance.

Returns and eZwroty

Merchant-driven return

Pocztex eZwroty is a merchant return workflow.

The user:

  1. selects a participating merchant;
  2. follows the merchant’s return rules;
  3. completes the form;
  4. receives a return label or number;
  5. posts through an eligible post office or locker route.

Merchant not listed

If the merchant is not listed, the merchant may not have the required return agreement.

The user can still buy a separate shipment, but that is not the merchant’s eZwrot process.

No-print return

Some return workflows allow the user to mark the parcel with the supplied return number rather than print the label, when the selected route supports it.

Return evidence ladder

merchant authorizes return
→ return label or number
→ drop-off or locker deposit
→ Nadanie przesyłki
→ reverse transport
→ merchant receipt
→ inspection
→ refund or replacement approval
→ payment or replacement

What return tracking does not prove

return number created
≠ return posted

return accepted
≠ merchant received

merchant received
≠ inspection completed

inspection completed
≠ refund approved

refund approved
≠ payment completed

Sender-requested return

A Pocztex sender can request withdrawal and return before delivery in eligible circumstances.

That is separate from a buyer’s merchant return.

Merchant controls the remedy

The merchant or marketplace controls:

  • return eligibility;
  • item inspection;
  • refund;
  • replacement;
  • commercial deadline;
  • return cost.

Pocztex complaints and compensation

The following rules belong to the current Pocztex regulation and must not be applied to every postal product.

When is a Pocztex item considered lost?

The current regulation treats a shipment as lost when it is neither:

  • delivered;
  • nor made available for pickup

within thirty days of posting.

This is a contract definition. It is not advice to ignore merchant deadlines for thirty days.

Complaint timing

A Pocztex complaint can be filed:

  • for loss after the thirty-day threshold;
  • for visible damage at receipt with a protocol or written statement;
  • for hidden damage within seven days;
  • no later than twelve months after posting.

Locker damage branch

After visible damage at locker pickup, the damage statement should be made promptly at a post office and no later than the next working day in the stated branch.

PUDO damage branch

After visible damage at PUDO pickup, the statement should be made promptly after collection.

Who can complain?

The right can belong to:

  • sender;
  • recipient after the sender transfers the right;
  • recipient after the item has been delivered.

Do not assume every recipient controls the carrier complaint before delivery.

Response and appeal

The current regulation uses:

  • thirty days for the complaint response;
  • fourteen days to appeal a refusal;
  • up to thirty days for appeal review;
  • up to thirty days for payment after an accepted decision.

These are maximum procedural periods in the stated scope, not automatic results.

Compensation categories

Product-specific rules can include:

  • delayed-delivery compensation up to twice the service fee in the stated branch;
  • partial loss or damage up to declared value;
  • missing additional service up to twice the added-service fee;
  • total loss or destruction up to declared value plus specified fee refunds.

These are limits, not guaranteed payments.

Insurance

Optional insurance follows separate insurance terms.

An insurance payment can affect postal compensation.

Keep remedies separate

Pocztex complaint
≠ merchant refund
≠ marketplace remedy
≠ card dispute
≠ insurance payment

Use Package Claim Guide and Package Damaged or Contents Missing for the broader evidence process.

Universal postal-service and EMS complaints

Universal domestic registered items

Under the universal-service regulation effective August 1, 2026:

  • domestic registered-item complaints are generally limited to twelve months after posting;
  • a loss complaint can begin after fourteen working days in the stated branch;
  • the item is treated as lost when not delivered within thirty days;
  • hidden damage or shortage must be raised within seven days after receipt.

International universal items

International postal parcel, registered-letter, and declared-value complaints can use a six-month period under the new regulation.

Universal compensation varies by product

Different formulas apply to:

  • ordinary postal parcel;
  • declared-value item;
  • registered letter;
  • late priority registered letter.

Do not copy one amount or claimant rule to all products.

EMS complaint rules

EMS uses a separate regulation and separate timing.

Product identification comes first

Before giving complaint advice, identify:

  • Pocztex;
  • universal postal parcel;
  • registered letter;
  • EMS;
  • another international registered item.

Privacy and scam safety

The public form should request only

  • one supported registered-item number.

Never enter these into a public tracker

  • name;
  • address;
  • phone;
  • email;
  • pickup code;
  • app login;
  • locker-opening command;
  • identity document;
  • signature;
  • EPO;
  • damage protocol;
  • invoice;
  • customs document;
  • PZC;
  • complaint evidence;
  • card data;
  • COD payment.

Treat the item number as shipment data

The number can reveal:

  • route;
  • facility;
  • pickup object;
  • delivery status;
  • return status;
  • customs status;
  • proof availability.

Do not publish it in:

  • public post;
  • review;
  • screenshot;
  • page URL;
  • metadata;
  • JSON-LD;
  • analytics;
  • unnecessary AI prompt.

Pickup codes are sensitive

A one-time code can release the item.

Never place it in:

  • URL;
  • metadata;
  • JSON-LD;
  • analytics;
  • screenshot;
  • public example;
  • support forum;
  • AI prompt.

Phone-number app matching is private

Pocztex Mobile’s phone matching is private app functionality.

It is not a public lookup method.

Proof is private

Signature, EPO, receiver identity, point release, and damage documents are private evidence.

Current phishing pattern

Poczta Polska warned in February 2026 about fake Pocztex messages claiming:

  • failed delivery;
  • need to choose a new date;
  • imminent return;
  • small surcharge;
  • need to reply Y;
  • need to paste a link into a browser.

The copied site can collect personal and card data.

Real shipment data does not authenticate a message

real item number
≠ authentic SMS

correct status
≠ official redelivery link

correct pickup point
≠ legitimate pickup-code request

Pocztex logo
≠ Pocztex-controlled domain

Safe verification sequence

  1. Do not use the message link.
  2. Open poczta-polska.pl or pocztex.pl independently.
  3. Enter only the supported item number.
  4. Never share a pickup code with an unsolicited contact.
  5. Verify customs action through the official carrier or customs route.
  6. Preserve the suspicious message privately.
  7. Report suspicious SMS through the current Polish reporting route where appropriate.
  8. Use Fake Delivery Message for broader safety guidance.

Important limitations:

  • The runtime provider code, accepted aliases, product fields, identifier families, related-number behavior, event fields, pickup-object fields, proof fields, customs fields, and complaint fields must be verified during implementation.
  • Pocztex is included as a Poczta Polska product family, not a separate carrier canonical.
  • Official examples show several identifier families but do not establish one universal format.
  • The public tracker does not support generic merchant-order, phone, address, pickup-code, complaint-reference, or customs-reference input.
  • Registered-item eligibility does not guarantee full route history.
  • Registered letters and registered business letters can show only posting and delivery dates.
  • Electronic data does not prove physical posting.
  • Nadanie przesyłki is the central public posting milestone.
  • Event codes are more stable than display names.
  • Logistics-centre and transport events are not exact GPS.
  • W DORĘCZENIU does not guarantee same-day delivery.
  • Awizo can represent different pickup or redelivery branches.
  • No universal attempt count was confirmed.
  • Post-office, PUDO, AUTOMAT, and universal-service holding periods differ.
  • Pickup codes are sensitive release credentials.
  • Phone-number matching and remote locker opening are private app functions.
  • Safe-place instruction is product- and service-specific.
  • Pocztex sender rights and recipient forwarding rights differ from universal postal services.
  • COD, customs, and content inspection are separate.
  • Content inspection is not a universal open-box right.
  • Paper proof, EPO, signature, code-based pickup, and personal delivery are different proof objects.
  • Public proof access is not universal.
  • Delivered does not universally prove named-addressee receipt, contents, or condition.
  • Return acceptance does not prove merchant receipt, inspection, or refund.
  • International operator assignment does not prove physical possession.
  • Poland departure, destination arrival, customs release, local acceptance, and delivery are separate.
  • The July 2026 customs charge must not be simplified to €3 per parcel.
  • Pocztex, universal postal, and EMS complaint regimes differ.
  • The universal-service regulation changes on August 1, 2026 and must be revalidated at implementation and publication.
  • Public tracking can be delayed, incomplete, corrected, duplicated, normalized, or out of order.
  • Public tracking is illustrative and is not itself the formal complaint evidence.
  • 11Tracking does not diagnose a specific item and cannot act on it.
