How to track a Pos Malaysia or Pos Laju item
On 11Tracking:
- enter one complete supported tracking identifier;
- check whether the history shows only order information or physical posting;
- identify the product when the label, receipt, or event provides it;
- read the exact post office, Pos Laju centre, transit office, delivery facility, international hub, customs, attempt, collection, delivery, or return event;
- contact Pos Malaysia for the postal operation and the seller for the commercial order, refund, replacement, or marketplace dispute.
What not to enter
Do not enter:
- a recipient phone number;
- an AskPos support-ticket number;
- a merchant order number unless the official tracker explicitly resolves it;
- a payment reference;
- a customs invoice;
- a redelivery-payment link;
- several tracking numbers pasted as one value.
A support ticket, payment reference, merchant order, or phone number is not automatically the shipment identifier.
What Pos Malaysia is
Pos Malaysia is Malaysia's national post and parcel service provider. Current official materials identify the legal operator as Pos Malaysia Berhad and describe its mandate to provide universal postal services.
The Universal Postal Union identifies Pos Malaysia as Malaysia's designated postal operator.
Pos Malaysia handles:
- domestic letters and registered mail;
- Pos Laju parcels and courier services;
- prepaid and economy products;
- international letters, packets, parcels, and EMS;
- inbound postal items from foreign postal operators;
- customs-related postal handling;
- collection, delivery, return, inquiries, and claims.
Pos Malaysia, Pos Laju, and Redly
These names are related, but they do not describe identical products.
Pos Malaysia
The national postal operator and legal service provider.
Pos Laju
Pos Malaysia's principal courier, express, and parcel brand.
A user searching for Pos Laju tracking is normally looking for a Pos Malaysia shipment.
Redly
Pos Malaysia introduced Redly as an international-delivery brand. Some current FAQ pages, product names, labels, or historical tracking records can still use Redly wording.
The 2026 Pos Laju consolidation
Pos Malaysia announced in June 2026 that domestic and international courier services would be progressively consolidated under Pos Laju.
The transition is not instantaneous across every:
- label;
- FAQ;
- retail counter;
- business account;
- API;
- historical shipment record.
Safe interpretation:
Pos Malaysia
→ national operator
Pos Laju
→ principal courier brand
Redly
→ transitional or historical international product brand
Do not treat Redly as an unrelated carrier unless the live record identifies another legal operator.
Do not assume that every historical Redly term was automatically replaced by a current Pos Laju term.
Pos Malaysia tracking-number formats
There is no safe public universal format for every Pos Malaysia product.
The number can depend on whether the item is:
- domestic Pos Laju;
- Pos Daftar;
- prepaid parcel;
- International Registered;
- Tracked Label;
- EMS;
- International Parcel;
- inbound foreign-post mail;
- part of a multi-piece shipment;
- booked under a historical or transitional product.
International postal identifiers
International registered, EMS, parcel-post, and other postal items can use a 13-character S10-style identifier:
two letters
+
nine digits
+
two-letter country code
Example structure only:
AA123456789MY
This is not a live tracking number.
What MY means
MY identifies Malaysia as the origin country of the postal identifier.
It does not prove:
- the item is currently in Malaysia;
- Malaysia is the destination;
- Pos Malaysia performs the final delivery;
- customs clearance is complete.
Domestic identifiers
Domestic Pos Laju and other products can use numeric or alphanumeric structures.
Open official sources reviewed for this page do not publish one exhaustive fixed length or prefix rule for every domestic product.
Do not reject a number solely because it fails an unofficial internet regex.
Pos Daftar prefixes
Official Pos Daftar terms refer to designated prefixes used for Track & Trace and proof-of-delivery purposes.
They do not provide one complete evergreen public prefix map suitable for guessing a number.
Do not invent missing characters
Never add:
MY;- a product prefix;
- leading digits;
- a missing letter;
- a checksum-like digit.
Ask the sender for the exact identifier on the receipt, label, shipping notice, or merchant account.
One order can contain several pieces
The current Pos Malaysia business API defines a Multi-Piece Shipment as one order containing up to 19 parcels.
This can create:
- a parent order;
- several parcel identifiers;
- partial delivery;
- one returned piece;
- one missing or damaged piece.
Track each parcel identifier separately when the merchant provides several numbers.
One delivered piece does not prove the entire order was delivered.
Label creation versus physical acceptance
The Pos Malaysia app, SendParcel, SendParcel Pro, or a business integration can create an order and label before the item is posted or collected.
An order record can confirm:
- shipment data exists;
- a label was generated;
- the sender selected a service.
It does not necessarily confirm:
- physical counter posting;
- courier pickup;
- Pos Malaysia possession;
- dispatch;
- movement.
Stronger acceptance evidence
Look for wording equivalent to:
- item posted over the counter;
- pickup completed;
- item accepted;
- item received at a Pos Malaysia or Pos Laju facility.
The exact wording can differ by product and tracking system.
Item Posted Over The Counter
This phrase appears in Pos Malaysia tracking histories and is strong evidence that the postal operator recorded physical counter posting.
It does not prove:
- departure from the posting office;
- arrival at a sorting centre;
- international export;
- a guaranteed delivery date;
- correct declared contents.
Pos Malaysia tracking evidence ladder
A typical forward item can move through:
Order or label created
↓
Physical posting or pickup accepted
↓
Processed at post office, Pos Laju centre, or mail centre
↓
Dispatched from posting or transit office
↓
Intermediate PPL, PSM, mail-processing centre, or international hub
↓
Arrived at destination delivery facility
↓
Out for delivery
↓
Delivered
A failed delivery can create another chain:
Delivery attempt failed
→ call card, electronic notice, or collection instruction
→ item returned to holding counter
→ self-collection, storage, return to sender, or product-specific DLO handling
International movement can add:
International Hub
→ export or import customs
→ airline, road, or sea transport
→ foreign postal operator or partner
→ local delivery, collection point, or return
Each stage has a different evidence ceiling.
Processing at a post office or mail centre
Processing can mean:
- sorting;
- data verification;
- bagging;
- route preparation;
- customs-document preparation;
- transfer between postal functions.
It does not prove departure.
A later dispatch event is stronger evidence that the item left that facility.
Transit office and dispatch
A transit office is an intermediate sorting, consolidation, or dispatch point.
Tracking wording can include:
Consignment dispatch out from Transit Office
Safe meaning:
- the item left the named transit office toward another network point.
It does not prove:
- arrival at the next facility;
- destination-city arrival;
- final-mile assignment;
- continuous movement;
- delivery on that date.
Why several transit offices can appear
Possible reasons include:
- origin and destination sorting;
- route consolidation;
- transfer between Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah or Sarawak;
- air or sea movement;
- international exchange;
- re-sorting;
- return direction.
A scan in another state or city does not automatically prove a wrong address.
What PPL and PSM mean
Pos Malaysia's current API glossary defines:
- PPL — Pusat Pos Laju, a Pos Laju Centre;
- PSM — Pejabat Pos Malaysia, a Malaysia Post Office.
These are different operational facility types.
A facility name does not automatically prove:
- public counter access;
- item readiness;
- customs release;
- delivery assignment;
- recipient collection.
Follow the exact next event or notification.
Pos Malaysia International Hub
The International Hub is an international processing and exchange facility.
The Universal Postal Union lists Pos Malaysia International Hub as a certified postal security facility.
An International Hub event does not prove:
- the item left Malaysia;
- export customs was completed;
- a flight departed;
- the destination post accepted it;
- the recipient can collect it.
The next event may involve customs, international linehaul, a foreign exchange office, or a destination operator.
Arrived at a delivery facility
This means the item reached a destination-side delivery operation.
It does not necessarily mean:
- out for delivery;
- ready for collection;
- recipient notified;
- delivery attempted;
- delivered.
The facility can still need to:
- sort the item;
- assign a courier;
- return it from a route;
- prepare it for the counter;
- calculate charges or verify instructions.
Out for delivery
Out for Delivery or Item out for physical delivery means the item was assigned to a delivery route or delivery agent.
It does not guarantee:
- delivery that day;
- a phone call;
- a precise time;
- successful access;
- another attempt after failure.
The event is route evidence, not live GPS.
Failed delivery and delivery-attempt evidence
A failed-delivery event records that the carrier did not complete delivery.
It does not independently prove:
- the recipient was absent;
- the address was wrong;
- a call was made;
- a call card was left;
- the recipient refused;
- a second attempt will occur.
Read the exact failure reason and product rules.
Disputing an attempt
Preserve:
- the exact event and time;
- call logs;
- messages;
- access or guardhouse records;
- call card or notice;
- AskPos ticket.
The event is a carrier record. It is not independent proof of the recipient's conduct.
Will Pos Laju try delivery again?
There is no safe universal answer.
Current Pos Malaysia FAQ material includes a service-specific rule that after the first failed delivery, a second delivery cannot be requested and the recipient must collect the parcel at the window delivery counter.
Other products, historical practices, foreign postal operators, or special instructions can differ.
Use this rule:
Some Pos Malaysia services require self-collection after the first failed attempt. Follow the exact tracking event, call card, holding facility, and current product instruction.
Do not assume either:
- Pos Laju always makes two attempts; or
- Pos Laju never makes another attempt.
Call cards, sorry notes, and self-collection
A delivery agent can leave:
- a call card;
- a sorry note;
- an SMS or electronic notification;
- an instruction in tracking.
The notice can direct the recipient to:
- a post office;
- Pos Laju Centre;
- window delivery counter;
- another collection point.
The nearest office may not hold the item
Use the exact facility shown in tracking or the notice.
Do not travel to the nearest post office based only on postcode or distance.
Failed attempt does not mean immediate counter availability
The item may still be:
- on the delivery vehicle;
- returning to the facility;
- awaiting counter processing;
- being assigned a shelf or collection record.
Wait for the collection instruction or confirm through AskPos.
Collection requirements
The live notice or office controls:
- identity document;
- representative authorisation;
- deadline;
- charges;
- opening hours.
Seven-day collection and the Dead Letter Office
Current Pos Malaysia FAQ material describes a specific Prabayar Ekonomi workflow:
- if the item cannot fit into the mailbox, the postman leaves a call card or sorry note;
- the recipient collects it at the nearest post office;
- the stated maximum period is seven calendar days;
- after that, the item is sent to the Dead Letter Office.
This is product-specific.
Do not apply it automatically to:
- Pos Laju parcels;
- Pos Daftar;
- International Registered;
- EMS;
- international parcels;
- every failed delivery.
What the Dead Letter Office means
The Dead Letter Office is an undeliverable-item pathway in an applicable product context.
It is not automatically:
- ordinary return to sender;
- active counter storage;
- recipient delivery;
- merchant refund.
Delivered status
A delivered event confirms a carrier-recorded completion.
It does not automatically prove:
- the named recipient signed;
- the correct address was used;
- the contents were correct;
- the item was undamaged;
- delivery was not made to a mailbox or representative.
The product and proof type matter.
Proof of Delivery is product-specific
Pos Malaysia products can use different delivery evidence.
| Product or evidence | What it can show | What it does not automatically show |
|---|---|---|
| Pos Laju POD | Parcel-delivery record | Universal public signature download |
| Pos Daftar | Registered-mail tracking and delivery proof | Pos Laju parcel terms |
| International Registered | POD under the named product | Complete destination tracking in every country |
| Tracked Label | Barcode scan during mailbox delivery | Recipient signature |
| Generic delivered event | Recorded completion | Correct contents or named-person receipt |
Signature, registered proof, and mail-drop scan are different
Do not use the word signed unless the exact proof confirms a signature.
Who can access proof?
The sender, merchant, or contract account holder can have stronger access than the recipient.
11Tracking cannot retrieve private POD, signature, delivery image, or internal account proof.
Pos Daftar tracking
Pos Daftar is Pos Malaysia's domestic registered-mail service for important letters and small items within the current product limits.
It provides:
- a designated tracking identity;
- Track & Trace;
- proof-of-delivery architecture.
Pos Daftar compensation
Current official Pos Daftar terms state compensation up to:
- RM92; or
- the actual item value;
whichever is lower.
This limit belongs to Pos Daftar.
It is not the universal compensation for Pos Laju, EMS, sea parcels, Tracked Label, or optional warranty coverage.
International Registered tracking
International Registered is a barcoded international mail service with POD.
Tracking can be incomplete abroad
Pos Malaysia's current FAQ says not all countries share tracking information.
A shipment can therefore have:
- detailed Malaysian events;
- only a few destination events;
- delayed foreign events;
- no visible final scan in the Pos Malaysia view.
A tracking gap does not by itself prove loss.
Redirection
Current official FAQ says an International Registered item cannot be redirected to another address.
Claim deadline
The named product FAQ gives a six-month inquiry or compensation-claim period from posting.
Compensation
The current FAQ cites a maximum of RM92 for the named product.
Delay
The cited product guidance does not compensate delay itself. Loss or damage rules are separate.
International Tracked Label
The Tracked Label, also associated with CN05bis, adds tracking to eligible international mail or small-packet products.
Delivery evidence
The current product guidance describes mailbox or mail-drop delivery.
The barcode is scanned when the item is placed in the mailbox.
No recipient signature
Tracked Label does not require a recipient signature.
A delivered scan therefore does not prove personal handover.
No standard compensation or insurance
Current FAQ material states that the Tracked service does not provide standard liability or compensation for delay, loss, or damage and does not provide insurance.
Do not confuse it with International Registered.
Return
An unsuccessfully delivered item can return when:
- the item remains in good condition;
- a complete sender address is clearly shown.
The current named-product FAQ says return postage is not charged in that context.
Do not generalise this to every international service.
Domestic Pos Laju parcels
Pos Laju is Pos Malaysia's domestic courier and parcel brand.
Current product material includes:
- tracking;
- delivery operations;
- POD;
- product-specific included compensation.
Current compensation revision
Current FAQ material states that eligible domestic Pos Laju parcels posted on or after 15 August 2025 can have included compensation up to:
- RM200; or
- declared value;
whichever is lower.
Specific product or consignment terms can override the general summary.
Delay
The cited product guidance does not create general compensation for delay.
Do not apply RM200 universally
Other official products and terms show:
- RM92;
- RM100;
- RM200;
- RM100/RM300 international limits;
- optional coverage up to RM5,000;
- no compensation.
The exact product controls.
Prepaid Pos Laju envelopes and boxes
Prepaid envelope and box products use flat-rate packaging for Pos Laju Standard Delivery.
Current product material includes POD.
They are not automatically eligible for:
- same-day delivery;
- time-certain premium services;
- every destination;
- every compensation rule outside the consignment terms.
Domestic Sea Parcel
Domestic Sea Parcel is an economy product for eligible routes involving Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah or Sarawak.
Its route and timing differ materially from express or air services.
Current product material cites compensation up to:
- RM100; or
- actual item value;
whichever is lower.
Do not compare its movement only with road or air distance.
International express and EMS
Pos Malaysia offers international express and EMS services through the current Pos Malaysia and Pos Laju architecture.
Service can involve:
- Pos Malaysia acceptance;
- International Hub processing;
- customs;
- air, road, or other linehaul;
- foreign designated postal operator or commercial partner;
- local final mile.
Service reach does not mean direct delivery everywhere
Marketing coverage across many countries does not prove Pos Malaysia employees perform final delivery in each destination.
Brand transition
A historical or transitional international record can use Redly wording.
The booked product and live tracking record control the applicable terms.
Product-specific compensation
Official FAQ material for named international products can cite maximum limits such as:
- RM100 for documents;
- RM300 for merchandise;
or actual value, whichever is lower.
Do not apply those figures to every international item.
International economy, parcel, and small packet
International Economy
The current product page describes tracked economy delivery and notes that customs inspection can add 48–72 hours in the named product context.
This is an estimate, not a universal customs deadline.
International Parcel
An international parcel can use air or surface transport depending on the product.
International Small Packet
Tracking can depend on an additional Tracked Label or Registered service.
Flexipack International
Tracking, POD, compensation, and return depend on the selected add-on and booked product.
Do not call every international Pos Malaysia item EMS.
International export from Malaysia
A typical outbound postal route can be:
Posting accepted
→ domestic processing
→ Pos Malaysia International Hub
→ export and security processing
→ airline, road, or sea handoff
→ foreign exchange office
→ destination customs
→ destination postal operator or partner
→ local delivery, collection, or return
International Hub is not departure evidence
An International Hub event means international processing.
It does not prove the item left Malaysia.
Look for a later dispatch, handoff, or destination-country acceptance event.
International import into Malaysia
A typical inbound route can be:
Foreign origin post
→ international transport
→ Pos Malaysia International Hub
→ Malaysian customs
→ release or document request
→ domestic processing
→ Pos Laju or postal final mile
The original foreign S10 identifier can continue through Malaysia.
A commercial partner may add another identifier, but no universal secondary-number rule is confirmed.
Customs status and responsibility
Customs is not one event.
Possible stages include:
- customs data received;
- item presented to customs;
- inspection;
- document request;
- duty or tax assessment;
- release;
- return, rejection, or seizure;
- post-release postal processing.
Sender responsibility
The sender should provide accurate:
- recipient details;
- content description;
- weight;
- value;
- category;
- CN22, CN23, invoice, or other required declaration.
Recipient responsibility
The recipient commonly handles:
- destination duties and taxes;
- requested identity or invoice documents;
- customs response;
- local import requirements.
Pos Malaysia responsibility
Pos Malaysia can:
- transport the item;
- exchange postal and customs data;
- provide official guidance;
- support an applicable clearance process;
- publish tracking events.
Customs authority
Customs controls:
- inspection;
- valuation;
- release;
- refusal;
- seizure;
- destruction.
Customs release is not delivery
After release, the item may still need:
- International Hub processing;
- domestic linehaul;
- local sorting;
- destination-facility receipt;
- out-for-delivery assignment.
Destination-specific service changes
International service availability can change because of:
- customs-data requirements;
- destination suspension;
- airline or route disruption;
- public holidays;
- security events;
- dimensional restrictions;
- regulatory changes.
Pos Malaysia published current 2026 notices concerning EU customs requirements and international service disruptions.
Use the live Service Updates page for a current shipment.
A static country table can become inaccurate quickly.
Why international tracking can stop
Possible reasons include:
- not every destination post shares complete events;
- international linehaul has no public item scan;
- customs has not published a new milestone;
- the item is inside a receptacle or container;
- a partner uses a different system;
- service is suspended or rerouted;
- data arrived late.
Check the destination operator
When tracking identifies the foreign postal operator or partner, use its official tracker for the local stage.
Keep the original Pos Malaysia identifier.
Tracking gap does not prove loss
Formal investigation, not silence alone, determines loss.
Out-for-delivery and delivered timestamps
The current Pos Malaysia API documentation uses Malaysia Time:
MYT, UTC+8
Foreign events can originate in another timezone or be normalised by a provider.
Do not infer a physical route solely from displayed time when:
- timezones differ;
- events are synchronised later;
- two systems publish the same milestone.
Return to Origin and return to sender
Pos Malaysia's technical glossary uses RTO — Return to Origin.
Possible return causes include:
- failed delivery;
- incomplete address;
- refusal;
- storage expiry;
- prohibited or dangerous goods;
- customs action;
- destination suspension;
- overweight or non-compliant product;
- sender instruction.
Return direction is not sender receipt
A return-to-sender event can mean the item is moving back.
It does not prove the sender already received it.
Return completion is not refund
The seller or marketplace controls the commercial result.
Sender address matters
A clear and complete sender address can determine whether an undeliverable item can be returned.
Claims, inquiries, and complaints
These are separate processes.
Tracking inquiry
Asks where the item is or what an event means.
Complaint
Reports service quality or a disputed event.
Compensation claim
Requests payment under the exact product's liability or warranty terms.
An AskPos ticket is not the shipment identifier and does not guarantee compensation.
Who can file a claim?
Current Pos Malaysia materials commonly give claim authority to:
- the sender;
- a legally authorised representative.
The recipient can:
- report damage or nonreceipt;
- preserve evidence;
- request delivery information;
- support the sender's claim.
The recipient does not automatically own the contractual postal claim.
Pos Malaysia claim deadlines are product-specific
Official materials contain several different windows, including:
- 48 hours for named damage situations;
- five working days for another partial-loss or damage context;
- 30 days for named domestic or international products;
- 90 days for another product context;
- six months for International Registered.
These periods differ because they can concern:
- loss versus damage;
- domestic versus international;
- included liability versus warranty;
- product version;
- posting date;
- specific terms.
Safe action
Report the problem immediately and use the exact product terms.
Do not rely on a generic website saying all Pos Malaysia claims have one deadline.
Pos Malaysia compensation is product-specific
Current official sources include different limits.
| Product or coverage | Current cited limit or rule | Important limitation |
|---|---|---|
| Pos Daftar | Up to RM92 or actual value | Pos Daftar only |
| International Registered | Up to RM92 | Named international product |
| Eligible domestic Pos Laju posted on/after 15 Aug 2025 | Up to RM200 or declared value | Product/date-specific |
| Domestic Sea Parcel | Up to RM100 or actual value | Sea Parcel only |
| Named international express products | Up to RM100 documents / RM300 merchandise | Verify booked product and transition terms |
| Tracked Label | No standard loss/damage compensation in cited FAQ | Tracking add-on, not registered proof |
| Pos Service Warranty | Up to RM5,000 | Optional purchased coverage |
Do not merge these figures into one carrier-wide promise.
Pos Service Warranty
Pos Service Warranty is an optional coverage product for eligible shipments.
It is separate from included carrier compensation.
Current maximum
Official material markets coverage up to RM5,000.
What controls reimbursement
The result can be limited by:
- declared value;
- actual damage;
- maximum coverage;
- product eligibility;
- packaging;
- excluded goods;
- claim evidence.
Not automatic
The sender must purchase the warranty for an eligible shipment.
It is not automatic insurance for every Pos Laju parcel.
Damage, partial loss, or missing contents
Report damage promptly because the deadline can be short.
Preserve:
- outer packaging;
- inner packaging;
- label;
- item;
- posting receipt;
- invoice;
- photographs;
- official damage report;
- identity or company authorisation required for the claim.
Recipient and sender roles
The recipient should record the condition and preserve the item.
The sender commonly files the formal claim.
Wrong item versus transport damage
Tracking cannot show what the merchant packed.
The seller remains responsible for:
- wrong product;
- incomplete order;
- refund;
- replacement;
- marketplace protection.
Delivered but not received
First identify the proof type.
Was the event based on:
- signature;
- registered-mail POD;
- mailbox barcode scan;
- generic delivered event;
- foreign-post event;
- business-account proof?
Immediate checks
Check:
- household members;
- reception;
- guardhouse;
- office mailroom;
- mailbox;
- authorised representative;
- call card;
- collection counter;
- merchant address.
Next actions
- preserve the tracking history;
- contact AskPos;
- open a support ticket;
- contact the delivery facility if identified;
- ask the sender or merchant for the available POD;
- ask the sender to file the postal claim where required;
- use the merchant or marketplace remedy separately.
Do not infer misconduct from status alone
A delivered event does not independently prove:
- theft;
- falsified POD;
- employee intent;
- correct contents;
- merchant liability.
Scam and payment safety
Pos Malaysia warns about messages that:
- claim the address is invalid;
- demand a redelivery fee;
- imitate Pos Malaysia or Pos Laju;
- direct the user to a payment page.
A real tracking number does not authenticate the request.
Verify safely
Use:
- the official Pos Malaysia tracker;
- the official app;
- AskPos;
- the official Contact Us page;
- the call card or collection notice;
- the live Service Updates page.
Do not submit card, bank, identity, or personal information through an unsolicited link.
Dangerous and prohibited goods
Dangerous, prohibited, or incorrectly declared goods can cause:
- rejection at posting;
- delay;
- customs hold;
- return;
- seizure;
- loss of compensation eligibility.
Tracking cannot determine whether an item is legally mailable.
The sender must use the current Pos Malaysia and destination-country restrictions.
AskPos and support tickets
AskPos can provide:
- tracking help;
- shipment progress;
- service support;
- ticket-status follow-up.
Ticket number versus tracking number
A support-ticket number identifies the customer-service case.
It does not identify the postal item.
Chat availability
The current official Contact page markets AskPos chat availability.
This does not guarantee:
- immediate human response;
- second delivery;
- claim approval;
- compensation;
- delivery on a requested date.
Pos Malaysia app
The current official app can support:
- booking;
- tracking;
- payment;
- post-office and service-point search;
- profile and saved-address management.
The app listing indicates that personal and location data can be collected under its privacy model.
11Tracking does not reproduce:
- Pos Malaysia account login;
- saved addresses;
- payment;
- identity;
- claim documents;
- personal shipment lists.
Who to contact about a Pos Malaysia item
| Situation | First useful party | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Label or order only | Sender | Physical posting or pickup is not confirmed |
| Posted or accepted but no movement | Pos Malaysia; sender keeps receipt | Pos Malaysia recorded possession |
| Transit-office delay | Pos Malaysia | It controls the domestic processing stage |
| International Hub delay | Pos Malaysia; check service updates | Hub arrival is not export or customs completion |
| Destination facility but no OFD | Pos Malaysia | Local processing or route assignment is pending |
| Failed delivery | AskPos and the named holding facility | Product-specific collection or attempt rules control |
| Call card or sorry note | Exact post office or Pos Laju centre | The nearest office may not hold the item |
| Delivered but missing | AskPos plus sender or merchant | Delivery evidence and commercial remedy differ |
| Pos Daftar or International Registered proof | Sender and Pos Malaysia | Sender commonly has stronger POD and claim access |
| Tracked Label delivered | Check mailbox and destination post | Mail-drop scan does not mean signature |
| Import customs | Pos Malaysia plus customs authority | Postal handling and customs decision differ |
| Foreign final mile | Destination postal operator; sender uses Pos Malaysia inquiry | Local operator controls delivery |
| Return to sender | Sender and merchant | Postal return and refund are separate |
| Damage or partial loss | Recipient records evidence; sender files claim | Formal claimant and physical evidence differ |
| Compensation | Sender or authorised representative | Product-specific terms control |
| Refund or replacement | Seller or marketplace | Pos Malaysia does not control the sales contract |
| Suspicious fee or address link | Official Pos Malaysia channels | Verify before paying |
Using 11Tracking and USTracking
11Tracking can display supported public Pos Malaysia or Pos Laju tracking events for one supported identifier.

- recognise Pos Malaysia, Pos Laju, and transitional Redly wording;
- separate signature POD from registered proof or mail-drop scan;
- identify the party that can act.
USTracking can help organise supported tracking records and observe later public updates.
Neither service can:
- search by phone number;
- retrieve a Pos Malaysia account;
- request redelivery;
- arrange self-collection;
- contact a courier;
- retrieve private POD;
- file an AskPos ticket;
- submit a postal claim;
- buy Pos Service Warranty;
- change the address;
- clear customs;
- pay duties;
- stop a return;

Frequently asked questions
Is Pos Laju the same as Pos Malaysia?
Pos Laju is Pos Malaysia's courier and parcel brand. Pos Malaysia is the national postal operator.
What is Redly?
Redly is a transitional or historical Pos Malaysia international-delivery brand. Pos Malaysia began progressively consolidating international courier services under Pos Laju in 2026.
Should I track a Redly item as Pos Malaysia?
Use the original identifier in the official Pos Malaysia tracking system. Preserve the booked product name because its terms can still apply.
What does a Pos Malaysia tracking number look like?
There is no one universal format for every domestic and international product. Use the complete number supplied by the sender.
What does MY at the end mean?
It identifies Malaysia as the origin country of an international postal identifier, not the destination or current location.
Does a generated label mean Pos Malaysia has the parcel?

Where should I collect the parcel?
Use the exact office or Pos Laju centre shown in tracking, call card, sorry note, or official notification.
Is the parcel immediately ready after a failed attempt?
Not always. It can still be returning from the route or awaiting counter processing.
Is every parcel held for seven days?
No. The seven-day rule described in current FAQ material applies to a named Prabayar Ekonomi workflow, not every service.
What is the Dead Letter Office?
It is an undeliverable-item pathway in an applicable product. It is not automatically ordinary return to sender or merchant refund.

Does Tracked Label require a signature?

Does International Registered track in every country?
No. Pos Malaysia states that not all countries share complete tracking information.
Can International Registered be redirected?
The current named-product FAQ says no.
How long can I claim for International Registered?

What is current Pos Laju compensation?
Eligible domestic Pos Laju parcels posted on or after 15 August 2025 can have included compensation up to RM200 or declared value, whichever is lower, subject to exact terms.
Why do official pages show different compensation amounts?
Different products, posting dates, terms, and optional warranty coverage use different limits.
What is Pos Service Warranty?
It is optional purchased coverage for eligible shipments, marketed up to RM5,000 under its terms.
Is Pos Service Warranty automatic?
No.
What is the Pos Malaysia claim deadline?
There is no one universal deadline. Official product materials contain different windows for damage, loss, domestic, international, and warranty claims.
Who files the claim?
The sender or legally authorised representative commonly files the formal postal claim.
Does customs release mean out for delivery?
No. The item can still require hub processing, linehaul, sorting, and delivery-facility receipt.
Why did international tracking stop?
The destination operator may not share complete events, or the item may be in linehaul, customs, a container, or another system.
Can 11Tracking request redelivery or retrieve POD?
No. It displays supported public events and guidance only.
Is a redelivery-fee message genuine?
Not necessarily. Pos Malaysia warns about fake invalid-address and redelivery-payment messages. Verify through official channels.
