UKRPOSHTA PACKAGE TRACKING

Ukrposhta Tracking

Track one supported Ukrposhta item with its complete 13-character identifier. A created barcode does not prove physical acceptance; official event 10100 is stronger evidence that Ukrposhta received the item. Domestic and international chains differ, and the exact event reason matters because 41000 can describe delivery to the recipient or delivery back to the sender after return. 11Tracking does not request phone numbers, SMS pickup codes, app QR codes, or identity data.

Spaces and dashes are accepted.

Independent tracking lookup. 11Tracking is not Ukrposhta, Nova Poshta, Meest, Ukraine Express, a customs authority, a foreign destination post, a seller, or a marketplace and cannot invent a missing prefix or UA suffix, collect a phone number, SMS pickup code, app QR, Diia or ID data, change an address, clear customs, retrieve claim documents, or issue compensation. Enter one complete supported 13-character Ukrposhta or international postal identifier at a time. Domestic items may use 13 digits or R plus 12 digits; international S10-style items use two letters, nine digits, and an origin-country suffix. Recipient phones, SMS codes, app QR codes, Diia or identity data, seller order numbers, postal-order numbers, names, emails, and full addresses are not available on this form. Barcode or online-record creation does not prove physical acceptance; official event 10100 is stronger acceptance evidence. Event 41000 requires its reason because it can mean delivery to the recipient or delivery back to the sender. Customs release is not Out for Delivery. Nova Poshta remains a separate carrier.

Track one supported Ukrposhta item using its complete 13-character tracking identifier. Domestic and international numbers do not all look the same: a domestic registered-item number can be numeric or begin with R, while an international postal number normally contains letters, nine digits, and a two-letter country code.

A created barcode or an online shipping record does not prove that the item was physically handed to Ukrposhta. Official event 10100 — accepted at the branch — is stronger evidence that the postal operator received it.

Read the exact event and its reason. Event 41000 means final delivery, but the reason can show delivery to the recipient or delivery back to the sender after a return. Customs release, arrival at a delivery office, collection-point arrival, storage, forwarding, and return are also separate stages.

How to track a Ukrposhta item

On 11Tracking:

  1. enter one complete supported 13-character identifier;
  2. check whether physical acceptance has been recorded;
  3. identify whether the item is domestic, international outbound, international inbound, or returning;
  4. read the exact office, country, event, and event reason;
  5. follow the official Ukrposhta app, notification, post office, foreign postal operator, customs authority, or claim route for private actions.

The official Ukrposhta tracker can accept several items at once. The 11Tracking carrier form is designed for one supported item at a time.

What not to enter

Do not enter:

  • a recipient phone number;
  • an SMS pickup code;
  • an app QR code;
  • an identity-document number;
  • a seller order number;
  • a customs-payment reference;
  • a postal money-order number;
  • several identifiers pasted as one value.

These values serve different purposes. A pickup credential or phone-linked private lookup is not a public tracking number.

What Ukrposhta is

Ukrposhta, or Укрпошта, is Ukraine's national postal operator. Its current corporate materials identify the legal entity as Joint Stock Company Ukrposhta and describe its role in Ukraine's postal system and the Universal Postal Union network.

Common English search variants include:

  • UkrPoshta;
  • Ukraine Post;
  • Ukrainian Post.

Ukrposhta is not Nova Poshta, Meest, or another Ukrainian private courier.

Domestic and international roles

Ukrposhta handles:

  • domestic letters, documents, parcels, and registered postal items;
  • international letters, small packets, parcels, registered items, and EMS;
  • customs and postal-data exchange;
  • post-office, parcel-locker, pickup-point, and eligible courier delivery;
  • returns, redirection, storage, search, and compensation processes.

For an international item, Ukrposhta can be the origin operator, the destination operator in Ukraine, or one operator in a wider UPU postal chain.

Ukrposhta tracking-number formats

The safest public description is 13-character identifier, not always “13 digits.”

Domestic registered-item identifiers

The current domestic online search form recognises a 13-character structure whose first character can be:

  • a digit, followed by 12 more digits; or
  • R, followed by 12 digits.

Examples of structure only:

1234567890123
R123456789012

These are placeholders, not live postal items.

The current form does not prove that every historical, financial, business, or special Ukrposhta object uses only these structures.

International postal identifiers

The current international search form describes a 13-character S10-style structure:

two Latin letters
+
nine digits
+
two-letter country code

Example structure only:

AA123456789CC

The current form lists international first-letter families including R, L, C, V, E, S, B, and N, followed by another Latin letter.

What the final two letters mean

The final two letters identify the country of posting or identifier origin.

They do not automatically identify:

  • the destination country;
  • the parcel's current country;
  • the final delivery carrier;
  • the customs authority currently handling it.

Do not add UA because you expect the item to arrive in Ukraine.

Do not invent a missing prefix or suffix

Never add:

  • a missing first letter;
  • a second service letter;
  • a country suffix;
  • digits;
  • an assumed UA.

Ask the sender for the complete identifier printed on the posting receipt, label, or official order record.

A valid number may still have limited tracking

Correct format does not guarantee full item-level tracking.

Ukrposhta's official technical documentation includes cases where specified international categories can return a result equivalent to:

Specified shipment has no tracking service

This can affect certain U- or L-prefix item patterns and other ordinary or limited-tracking products.

Registered versus ordinary international mail

International postal categories can include:

  • ordinary letters or postcards;
  • registered letters;
  • PRIME or small-packet products;
  • parcels;
  • EMS;
  • other service classes.

Tracking availability differs.

A valid number can provide:

  • full origin and destination events;
  • origin-only events;
  • limited milestone tracking;
  • delayed foreign events;
  • no tracking service.

Why tracking may not find the number

Possible reasons include:

  • the sender supplied an order number instead of the postal identifier;
  • the barcode was created but not yet accepted;
  • one character was copied incorrectly;
  • the country suffix is missing;
  • the item category has limited or no tracking;
  • a foreign postal operator has not yet published its event;
  • the seller supplied a number belonging to another order or carrier.

Barcode creation versus physical acceptance

A sender can create a label, customs form, or shipping document before handing the item to Ukrposhta.

A recognised barcode can confirm that a record exists.

It does not necessarily confirm:

  • physical acceptance;
  • post-office custody;
  • sorting;
  • international export;
  • movement.

Official acceptance event 10100

Ukrposhta's official status documentation defines:

10100 — Shipment accepted at the branch

This is strong evidence that Ukrposhta recorded physical acceptance.

It does not prove:

  • the item left the branch;
  • origin sorting was completed;
  • the item reached an international exchange office;
  • a delivery date is guaranteed;
  • the contents match the sender's description.

Why the posting receipt matters

The sender should preserve the receipt because it can show:

  • identifier;
  • posting date;
  • item category;
  • declared value;
  • payment;
  • acceptance office.

It can also be required for a formal search or claim.

Official domestic status codes

The following table summarises core Ukrposhta events from the official status documentation.

CodeOfficial stageSafe interpretation
10100Accepted at branchUkrposhta recorded acceptance
20700Received at sorting centreItem reached a sorting facility
20800Shipment departureItem left the named operational point
20900 / 21500Sent to delivery officeDispatched toward a delivery office
21700Arrived at delivery officeReached the delivery-side office
31100Attempted or unsuccessful deliveryA non-completed delivery event was recorded
21400Transferred for storageItem entered storage
31400Unsuccessful delivery and storageAttempt failed and item moved into storage
31300ForwardedItem sent to another post office
31200ReturningItem is moving in return direction
41000Final deliveryCompletion recorded; event reason is essential
10600 / 10602Acceptance cancelledAcceptance or reception was cancelled
10603Deleted by clientElectronic/client record was deleted

A broad status such as in transit, delivering, forwarding, returning, or delivered is not enough when the exact event gives a more specific meaning.

Received at a sorting centre — `20700`

This event confirms that the item reached a sorting facility or processing node.

It does not confirm:

  • destination-city arrival;
  • completion of sorting;
  • departure toward the next office;
  • readiness for pickup;
  • out-for-delivery assignment.

Why several sorting centres can appear

A domestic or international item can pass through:

  • origin sorting;
  • regional sorting;
  • destination sorting;
  • an international exchange office;
  • a transit hub;
  • a return route.

A city or office scan does not rewrite the delivery address.

Shipment departure — `20800`

20800 confirms departure from the named office or sorting point.

It does not prove:

  • arrival at the next point;
  • direct transport;
  • continuous movement;
  • exact vehicle or route;
  • delivery on a specific date.

A gap after departure can represent linehaul, international transfer, delayed event publication, or a missing public scan.

Sent to the delivery office — `20900` and `21500`

These events confirm that the item was dispatched toward a delivery office.

They do not confirm:

  • arrival there;
  • recipient notification;
  • pickup readiness;
  • courier assignment;
  • successful delivery.

The stronger delivery-office event is 21700.

Arrived at the delivery office — `21700`

21700 means the item reached the delivery office.

This is an important local milestone, but it does not always mean the item can already be collected.

Check for stronger pickup evidence

Look for:

  • an official readiness notification;
  • app status;
  • SMS pickup code;
  • collection-point event;
  • office confirmation;
  • a final storage deadline.

The office may still need to process the item, assign a shelf or locker, calculate charges, or complete an internal receiving step.

Delivery office does not mean recipient delivery

Attempted or unsuccessful delivery — `31100`

31100 records a delivery attempt or unsuccessful delivery.

It does not independently prove:

  • recipient absence;
  • a successful phone call;
  • correct-address access;
  • refusal;
  • another attempt on a specific date.

Possible next stages include:

  • another attempt;
  • transfer to storage;
  • office pickup;
  • forwarding;
  • return.

Read the exact event reason and current notification.

Storage — `21400` and `31400`

21400 — Transferred for storage

The item entered a storage process.

31400 — Unsuccessful delivery and transfer to storage

A delivery did not complete and the item was moved into storage.

Neither event means:

  • the recipient collected it;
  • return started;
  • the deadline already expired.

Which storage deadline controls?

Use the live:

  • Ukrposhta app;
  • SMS or email;
  • branch notice;
  • product conditions;
  • post-office or locker deadline.

Ukrposhta publishes several storage rules for different products and situations. There is no safe single answer for every item.

Forwarded to another post office — `31300`

31300 means the item was forwarded to another post office.

Possible reasons include:

  • eligible app redirection;
  • sender or recipient request;
  • operational correction;
  • branch or parcel-locker change.

It does not prove:

  • arrival at the new office;
  • readiness there;
  • that the forwarding was free;
  • unchanged delivery timing.

Wait for the next office-receipt or readiness event.

Final delivery — `41000`

41000 means final delivery in Ukrposhta's official event system.

The event reason is essential.

Delivery to the recipient

A reason such as personally can support a recipient-side completion.

The public tracking event still may not show:

  • exact person;
  • identity document;
  • signature;
  • SMS code;
  • app QR;
  • family or representative authority.

Delivery back to the sender

The same raw 41000 event can use a reason equivalent to sender after a return.

This is not ordinary recipient delivery.

What delivered does not prove

Even a recipient-side final event does not automatically prove:

  • correct goods;
  • intact contents;
  • seller legitimacy;
  • named-person signature;
  • absence of delegated collection;
  • absence of misdelivery.

Return status: `31200`, reason `10`, and `41010`

Ukrposhta's official technical model distinguishes return movement and return completion.

31200 — Returning

This means the item is moving in return direction.

Reasons can include:

  • storage period expired;
  • recipient initiative;
  • sender initiative;
  • another return condition.

It does not mean the sender already received the item.

Final return delivery

The technical documentation explains that return completion can appear as:

raw event 41000
+
event reason ID 10
=
normalised status 41010

A tracking provider can therefore expose:

  • 31200 returning;
  • 41000 with reason sender;
  • 41010 delivered to sender;
  • more than one of these layers.

Return is not a merchant refund

A marketplace or merchant controls the sales outcome.

Cancelled or deleted shipment records

Ukrposhta's event model includes:

  • 10600 — acceptance cancelled at sender request;
  • 10602 — reception cancelled;
  • 10603 — deleted by client.

These events can concern an electronic record or acceptance workflow.

They do not prove that a physical item entered the network and was later returned.

Check whether 10100 or another physical-acceptance event ever appeared.

International export from Ukraine

An outbound international item can pass through:

Accepted in Ukraine
→ domestic sorting
→ outward office of exchange
→ customs control or export processing
→ released
→ processed for destination-country transport
→ receptacle, container, or linehaul movement
→ destination postal operator

Each stage confirms something different.

Outward office of exchange

The official event system includes outward-exchange events such as:

  • 21600 — arrival at an outward office of exchange in Ukraine;
  • related foreign-post or exchange-layer events.

This means the item reached an international exchange operation.

It does not prove:

  • export customs clearance;
  • departure from Ukraine;
  • aircraft departure;
  • destination-country arrival;
  • destination-post acceptance.

Processed and handed over for destination-country transport

Events such as 70800 and 71200 can describe an item processed at the office of exchange and handed over for further transportation to the destination country.

This is stronger than simple exchange-office arrival.

It still does not prove:

  • direct air transport;
  • arrival in the destination country;
  • foreign customs release;
  • final-mile carrier possession.

Why tracking can pause after this event

The next public event may depend on:

  • international linehaul;
  • transit postal operator;
  • airline, road, or rail exchange;
  • destination postal operator;
  • customs;
  • delayed data exchange.

The original 13-character identifier usually remains important even when the destination operator supplies later events.

Receptacle and container events

International postal operators can move items in grouped receptacles or containers.

A tracking history can show:

  • receptacle prepared for a carrier;
  • container handed to transport;
  • destination post received a container;
  • airport or exchange processing.

A container event is not always an individual item scan.

Do not assume that every grouped movement proves the item was individually processed at that moment.

International import into Ukraine

An inbound international item can follow this chain:

Foreign origin post
→ international transport
→ inward office of exchange in Ukraine
→ customs presentation or hold
→ customs release
→ Ukrainian sorting
→ departure from inward exchange
→ domestic delivery network
→ delivery office, pickup, courier, or return

Inward office of exchange

Official inbound-exchange events include codes such as 60700 and 67300.

They confirm that the item reached Ukraine's inbound international exchange operation.

They do not prove:

  • customs release;
  • Ukrainian domestic sorting;
  • destination-office arrival;
  • recipient readiness.

Ukrposhta customs status meanings

Customs is a sequence, not one event.

Presented or transferred to customs

Official events include:

  • 80700 — transfer for customs control;
  • 82700 or 89000 — presented to customs.

These confirm customs presentation or transfer.

They do not confirm release.

Held by customs

The official model includes several hold events, including 80800, reason-specific 808xx events, 87500, and export-side hold events such as 88500.

A hold can involve:

  • documents;
  • valuation;
  • inspection;
  • prohibited or restricted contents;
  • taxes or duties;
  • another customs decision.

The exact reason and official request control.

Released from customs

Release events include 82800 and 89100.

They confirm a customs-release milestone.

They do not prove:

  • departure from the exchange office;
  • domestic sorting;
  • destination-office receipt;
  • pickup readiness;
  • out for delivery.

After customs release

Later events can include:

  • 90700 — sorting;
  • 90800 or 97700 — departure from the inward office of exchange.

These are stronger post-customs movement events.

Who controls customs?

Ukrposhta can

  • transport the item;
  • exchange postal and customs data;
  • support documentation;
  • publish customs milestones;
  • collect applicable charges through official postal procedures.

Customs authority controls

  • inspection;
  • valuation;
  • document requests;
  • release;
  • refusal;
  • seizure or destruction.

When the item is held, use the official Ukrposhta customs guidance and the customs unit responsible for the exchange office.

Current import threshold

Current Ukrposhta import guidance distinguishes items up to and above €150.

This is a volatile legal and customs threshold. Check the current official page for a live shipment rather than relying on an old article or calculator.

Customs payment and COD

An inbound item can require:

  • customs payment;
  • COD;
  • postal money-order transfer fee;
  • another official charge.

The tracking identifier is not:

  • a payment form;
  • an SMS collection code;
  • proof of payment;
  • an identity credential.

A real tracking number does not authenticate an SMS, website, QR code, or caller demanding payment.

Open the official Ukrposhta and customs pages manually.

Foreign postal-operator events

After an outbound item reaches another country, the destination designated postal operator commonly controls:

  • local sorting;
  • delivery-office arrival;
  • delivery attempt;
  • collection point;
  • storage;
  • address verification;
  • final delivery;
  • return.

Ukrposhta's official status system can display foreign-post events, but the local operator is often the party that can act on the final-mile stage.

Out for physical delivery — 29500

This means the destination post assigned the item for physical delivery.

It does not guarantee:

  • delivery that day;
  • a successful attempt;
  • exact arrival time;
  • recipient contact.

Arrived at collection point — 29700

This means the item reached a collection point.

It does not mean the recipient collected it.

Addressee advised to collect — 36000

This records that the recipient was advised to pick up the item.

It remains a readiness or notification event, not collection.

Another delivery attempt

Foreign-post events can explicitly state:

  • 35100 — another attempt scheduled today;
  • 35200 — another attempt on the next working day.

These are destination-post events and should not be treated as a universal Ukrposhta domestic attempt policy.

Foreign storage, address, inspection, and return events

Foreign operators can publish events for:

  • held at delivery depot;
  • addressee notified;
  • held at addressee request;
  • sender contacted;
  • address verification;
  • inspection;
  • repacking;
  • forwarding;
  • return to sender;
  • import terminated;
  • seizure or destruction.

Use the exact wording and contact the named destination operator.

Investigation-derived statuses

Some international outcomes can be added from an official investigation or a destination-post response rather than from a live operational scan.

Examples can include:

  • final delivery;
  • destination-country arrival;
  • return;
  • customs hold.

This evidence can be authoritative, but it should not be described as a real-time scan if the source is an inquiry result.

Ukrposhta products and mail types

Ukrposhta's technical event system and current commercial site do not always use identical product names.

The status system includes mail types such as:

  • letter;
  • banderole;
  • parcel;
  • small bag;
  • international package;
  • declared-value item;
  • Ukrposhta Standard;
  • Ukrposhta Express;
  • containers and logistics objects.

Current domestic commercial products include:

  • Ukrposhta Priority;
  • Ukrposhta Basic;
  • Ukrposhta Documents.

Do not assume a historical technical Standard or Express mail type maps perfectly to the current Basic or Priority tariff without a verified live record.

Ukrposhta Priority, Basic, and Documents

Priority

Current product material says Priority items receive priority processing and transportation at relevant stages.

Priority does not mean:

  • guaranteed next-day delivery everywhere;
  • no storage;
  • no delivery attempt;
  • no operational delay.

Basic

Basic delivery timing depends on route, posting cutoff, origin, destination, and current operational conditions.

Ukrposhta Documents

This is a separate document product with its own:

  • weight and envelope conditions;
  • included declared value;
  • delivery timing;
  • optional personal-delivery or notice features.

Do not apply document-service identity or collection rules to every parcel.

EMS tracking

EMS is Ukrposhta's accelerated international postal service.

Current official material describes:

  • priority handling;
  • tracking;
  • air-service context;
  • courier delivery to the recipient address under applicable UPU standards.

EMS does not mean every stage is a direct flight

Ukrposhta's current material also notes that Ukraine's closed civil airspace can extend international routes and timing.

An EMS item can use alternative land exchange and partner-country transport before air or destination processing.

EMS storage

Current international guidance gives 14 days for inbound EMS storage.

Do not apply the general one-month international storage period to EMS.

EMS address delivery is product-specific

EMS address delivery does not mean every Ukrposhta international parcel receives courier delivery.

Receiving a Ukrposhta item in Ukraine

Depending on product and eligibility, an item can be received through:

  • a post office;
  • a parcel locker;
  • a pickup point;
  • courier delivery.

The live item and official notification control.

Receiving at a post office

The recipient should confirm:

  • office;
  • readiness;
  • deadline;
  • charges;
  • required credential.

Possible credentials include:

  • original identity document;
  • eligible Diia document;
  • SMS pickup code;
  • authenticated app QR;
  • power of attorney;
  • family-relationship evidence in narrow cases.

SMS pickup code

Ukrposhta permits SMS-code collection for eligible domestic and international items under current restrictions.

Eligibility can depend on:

  • recipient being an individual;
  • recipient phone recorded on the item;
  • declared-value limits;
  • domestic COD limits;
  • absence of personal-delivery or court-summons markers.

An SMS code is a private pickup credential.

It is not the tracking number and must never be entered into 11Tracking.

Ukrposhta app QR identification

The official app can provide a QR or barcode identity workflow for receiving eligible items without presenting a physical document.

This is an authenticated app function.

An arbitrary screenshot, copied QR, or public tracking website does not replace the official workflow.

11Tracking does not collect app QR codes.

Diia and identity documents

Current domestic guidance allows specified Diia electronic passports for eligible registered domestic items, including some COD workflows.

International, high-value, personal-delivery, legal-notice, and other special items can use different rules.

Follow the exact branch instruction.

Can another person collect the item?

Power of attorney

An authorised representative can receive an item under an applicable power of attorney and legal requirements.

Family member

Current domestic guidance permits family collection for specified low-declared-value domestic products and Ukrposhta Documents when relationship is proved.

This is not a universal rule.

Do not generalise it to:

  • every parcel;
  • international items;
  • high declared value;
  • every COD;
  • personal-delivery item;
  • court summons.

Inspecting damage or missing contents

Items with an inventory and items with a damage act can be opened in an employee's presence.

If shortage, substitution, or damage is found, an act can be prepared.

Preserve evidence

Keep:

  • outer packaging;
  • inner packaging;
  • label;
  • contents;
  • receipt;
  • photographs;
  • official act.

Do not leave the office without asking how the damage or shortage should be recorded.

Postal and merchant responsibility can differ

Ukrposhta can investigate transport damage or shortage.

The seller or marketplace can still be responsible for:

  • wrong goods;
  • incomplete order;
  • replacement;
  • refund;
  • buyer protection.

Managing a parcel in the Ukrposhta app

Current app-based parcel management can offer eligible actions such as:

  • redirect;
  • extend storage;
  • change recipient contact data;
  • change COD;
  • request return.

Authority differs by actor.

Sender and recipient can

For eligible items:

  • redirect;
  • extend storage.

Sender only can

For eligible items:

  • change recipient name or phone;
  • change COD;
  • request return.

11Tracking cannot perform any of these actions.

Domestic redirection

An eligible domestic item can be redirected through the current app to:

  • another post office;
  • parcel locker;
  • courier delivery.

Current guidance says redirection can be free while the item is still in transit.

This is not a universal promise.

Eligibility can depend on:

  • product;
  • current stage;
  • destination;
  • service availability;
  • item restrictions.

A redirection request is not proof of arrival at the new location.

Changing recipient data

The current management page gives the sender authority to change the recipient's:

  • name;
  • phone number.

The recipient is not listed as having the same authority.

Do not send corrected personal data to 11Tracking.

Changing COD

The sender can change COD for an eligible item under current restrictions.

The current page says:

  • COD cannot exceed the declared value;
  • COD cannot be added when the item was sent without it.

A tracking status does not itself authorise a financial change.

Return options in parcel management

Current domestic management allows the sender to choose a return option before posting, including:

  • Basic return;
  • Priority return;
  • do not return.

“Do not return”

Under the current domestic management description, a non-delivered or uncollected item is not returned when this option applies.

Do not generalise this to:

  • every international item;
  • EMS;
  • all registered letters;
  • historical items;
  • foreign-post returns.

Ukrposhta storage periods

There is no one universal storage period.

Current domestic app summary

The current management page describes free storage of:

  • 7 days in a city;
  • 14 days in a village.

It also describes eligible app extensions:

  • up to 28 days for domestic items;
  • up to 60 days for international items.

International items received in Ukraine

Current international FAQ describes:

  • one month for general international items;
  • 14 days for EMS;
  • paid written extension up to two months in applicable cases.

Parcel lockers and named tariffs

Some current domestic tariff pages include seven days of storage for named products or locations.

This does not prove every locker, product, or historical item has the same period.

Which deadline should the recipient follow?

Use the exact live deadline in:

  • app;
  • SMS;
  • email;
  • branch notification;
  • locker notice.

The shipment-specific deadline is safer than a generic article.

International storage outside Ukraine

The destination country and postal operator control local storage.

Ukrposhta cannot promise one worldwide holding period.

Contact the foreign operator shown in tracking.

Domestic return

A domestic registered item can return under:

  • sender-selected return option;
  • storage expiry;
  • recipient request;
  • sender request;
  • address or delivery problem;
  • another applicable rule.

Return charges can apply under current tariffs.

Return movement is not refund.

International return

Automatic return after storage

A destination postal operator can return an undelivered item after its local storage period.

Do-not-return instruction

Current international guidance recognises a Do not return instruction in applicable cases.

Foreign return charge

The foreign postal administration can set a return charge for an international parcel.

Recall before delivery

The sender can request redirection or return before delivery only where the destination country accepts the request.

Country rules are volatile. Use the current official Ukrposhta country list and process.

Search and claims

Tracking and formal search are different.

A search or claim can establish facts after tracking is insufficient. It does not create a new movement scan.

Who owns an international claim?

Current Ukrposhta international guidance, based on UPU rules, states that until delivery:

  • the item belongs to the sender;
  • the sender normally submits the search;
  • compensation normally goes to the sender;
  • the recipient may receive compensation after the sender's written refusal.

This is a major difference from ordinary recipient support.

Inquiry timing is not delivery timing

Current guidance describes:

  • an initial search response within 30 days;
  • a final response within two months in applicable international inquiries.

These are inquiry-response periods, not delivery estimates.

Damage and missing contents

Inbound international damage

The recipient should request an official damage report at the post office.

The sender can then initiate the international inquiry through the origin postal operator.

Outbound Ukrposhta damage

The sender can submit a claim with:

  • receipt;
  • packaging photographs;
  • content photographs;
  • description and supporting evidence.

The foreign recipient should also record damage with the destination postal operator.

Do not discard the packaging

The package and official act can be essential evidence.

Delivered but not received

Start with the exact event and reason.

Determine what “delivered” means

Check whether the event describes:

  • personal delivery;
  • authorised collection;
  • office collection;
  • destination-post completion;
  • investigation-derived completion;
  • delivery back to the sender.

Check who could have received it

Possible authorised receivers can include:

  • addressee;
  • eligible family member;
  • authorised representative;
  • SMS-code holder;
  • app-verified person;
  • institutional representative.

Action sequence

  1. check the exact office, country, event, reason, and timestamp;
  2. contact the delivery office or destination postal operator;
  3. request available delivery evidence;
  4. submit the official search or claim where eligible;
  5. contact the seller for refund, replacement, or marketplace protection.

Do not infer from tracking alone

A delivered event does not by itself prove:

  • theft;
  • forged signature;
  • employee misconduct;
  • correct goods;
  • seller legitimacy.

Merchant remedy versus postal remedy

Ukrposhta can:

  • transport;
  • publish tracking events;
  • investigate the postal item;
  • prepare a damage act;
  • process an eligible search or postal claim.

The seller or marketplace controls:

  • refund;
  • replacement;
  • wrong item;
  • missing commercial goods;
  • buyer protection;
  • order cancellation.

Current Ukrposhta responsibility guidance specifically directs users who did not receive goods ordered online to contact the sender as well.

Delivery estimates

There is no one Ukrposhta delivery estimate.

Timing depends on:

  • Priority, Basic, Documents, EMS, or another service;
  • posting cutoff;
  • domestic route;
  • destination country;
  • customs;
  • destination postal operator;
  • storage or attempt;
  • operational and security conditions.

International performance data

Ukrposhta publishes route and product performance statistics.

They are useful historical context, not a guarantee for one item.

EMS and wartime routing

EMS has priority handling, but Ukraine's closed civil airspace can add land exchange and partner-country transit before air or destination processing.

Do not compare the route only with direct-flight distance.

Wartime and operational uncertainty

Current official material continues to note:

  • closed Ukrainian civil airspace;
  • alternative international land routes;
  • possible route and timing extensions;
  • changing office, mobile-office, courier, and transport availability.

Use this context only when relevant.

Do not use martial law as an automatic explanation for every delay or missing event.

Check the last evidence-bearing event and current official operational notice.

“Real-time” tracking does not mean GPS

The Ukrposhta app markets real-time status updates.

This means event updates.

It does not mean:

  • live vehicle map;
  • continuous parcel location;
  • proof of movement between scans;
  • driver GPS.

Privacy and postal secrecy

Postal information and personal data are protected.

11Tracking should display only supported public events tied to the entered identifier.

It does not collect or display:

  • recipient phone;
  • full address;
  • SMS pickup code;
  • app QR;
  • identity document;
  • private signature;
  • claim documents;
  • customs invoice;
  • correspondence contents.

Fake Ukrposhta messages

Fraud can imitate:

  • customs payment;
  • storage fee;
  • delivery fee;
  • pickup notification;
  • SMS code;
  • app QR;
  • address correction;
  • claim form;
  • marketplace refund.

Verify safely

  1. open the official Ukrposhta tracker manually;
  2. compare the exact event;
  3. open the official app or website;
  4. verify customs through official channels;
  5. do not share an SMS code, QR, ID, card data, or banking credentials with an unknown site.

A real tracking identifier does not authenticate a message.

Using 11Tracking and USTracking

11Tracking can display supported public Ukrposhta events for one supported item.

It can help you:

  • classify the identifier;
  • distinguish barcode creation from acceptance;
  • interpret domestic status codes;
  • identify customs, foreign-post, storage, forwarding, delivery, and return stages;
  • route the next action.

USTracking can help organise supported tracking records and observe later public updates.

Neither service can:

  • use recipient-phone private tracking;
  • collect an SMS pickup code;
  • collect an app QR;
  • identify a person;
  • redirect an item;
  • extend storage;
  • change recipient details or COD;
  • request return;
  • contact a post office or foreign operator;
  • clear customs;

Frequently asked questions

Is Ukrposhta the same as Ukraine Post?

Ukrposhta is Ukraine's national postal operator. Ukraine Post is a common English description.

Is Ukrposhta the same as Nova Poshta?

No. They are separate postal and courier operators.

Is every Ukrposhta number 13 digits?

No. The safest wording is 13 characters. International identifiers contain letters and digits, and current domestic forms can also recognise an R followed by digits.

What do the last two letters mean?

They identify the country of posting or identifier origin, not necessarily the destination or current location.

Can I add UA to an incomplete number?

No. Ask the sender for the complete identifier.

Why does tracking say no tracking service?

Some valid ordinary or limited-service international categories do not provide full item-level tracking.

Does a created barcode mean Ukrposhta has the item?

No. Look for event 10100, accepted at the branch.

What does 20700 mean?

The item reached a sorting centre. It is not necessarily at the destination.

What does 20800 mean?

The item departed the named operational point. Arrival at the next point is not yet confirmed.

What does 21700 mean?

The item arrived at the delivery office. Check the notification before assuming it is ready for pickup.

What does 31100 mean?

A delivery attempt or unsuccessful delivery was recorded. The exact reason and next event control.

What does 31300 mean?

The item was forwarded to another post office. It has not necessarily arrived there.

What does 41000 mean?

Final delivery was recorded. Read the event reason because it can mean delivery to the recipient or return delivery to the sender.

What is 41010?

It is a normalised returned-to-sender completion derived from a final-delivery event with the sender return reason.

Does customs release mean out for delivery?

No. The item can still require exchange-office departure, sorting, domestic transport, and delivery-office processing.

What is an outward office of exchange?

It is an origin-country international exchange operation. Arrival there does not prove the item left Ukraine.

What is an inward office of exchange?

It is the destination-country inbound international exchange operation. Arrival there does not prove customs release.

Why did tracking stop after the item left Ukraine?

The next event can depend on international transport, transit post, destination post, customs, or delayed postal-data exchange.

Who handles the parcel abroad?

The destination designated postal operator commonly controls local sorting, attempts, pickup points, storage, and delivery.

Can I collect with an SMS code?

For an eligible item under current restrictions. The SMS code is private and should only be used in the official collection workflow.

Can I use the app QR instead of ID?

The official app supports an authenticated QR identity workflow for eligible receiving. Follow the live app and branch instructions.

Can a family member collect my parcel?

Only in specified domestic cases with the required relationship evidence. It is not a universal rule.

Can I redirect the item?

Eligible domestic items can be redirected through current app options. Actor authority, product, and shipment stage matter.

Can I change the recipient phone or name?

The current management page gives that authority to the sender for eligible items.

Can I change COD?

The sender can change COD for an eligible item under current restrictions.

How long will Ukrposhta store the item?

It depends on domestic or international status, city or village, product, EMS, post office or locker, and current extension. Follow the live deadline.

How long is EMS stored?

Current international guidance says 14 days for inbound EMS.

What does returning mean?

The item is moving toward the sender. Return completion has not yet occurred.

Does delivered back to sender mean refund?

No. The merchant must reconcile the return and make the commercial decision.

Who files an international claim?

The sender normally initiates the search and receives compensation until delivery under the current UPU-based guidance.

What is the search deadline?

Current Ukrposhta forms and FAQs state six months from acceptance for posting.

Can the recipient receive international compensation?

Potentially, after the sender's written refusal under the current international guidance.

Does Ukrposhta issue a refund for an online purchase?

The seller or marketplace controls the commercial refund or replacement.

Can 11Tracking redirect or extend storage?

No. Use the official Ukrposhta app or service channel for eligible actions.

This page was researched from current official Ukrposhta tracking, Status Tracking API documentation, corporate and regulatory pages, parcel-management and mobile-app guidance, receiving rules, domestic and international FAQs, search forms, customs pages, EMS, Priority, Basic, Documents, courier, privacy, postal-law, and 2026 international-performance materials accessed on July 29, 2026.

It covers supported domestic and international registered postal items, official event and reason meanings, offices of exchange, customs, foreign-post events, receiving credentials, eligible parcel management, storage, forwarding, return, search, damage, compensation, merchant remedies, and wartime route uncertainty.

Ukrposhta does not provide full tracking for every correctly formatted ordinary or limited-service postal item. Product names, event normalization, foreign-post detail, storage, app eligibility, customs thresholds, destination-country recall rules, office availability, and international routes can change.

The live identifier, exact event and reason, official app or notification, post office, destination postal operator, customs authority, posting receipt, seller contract, and applicable postal rules control.

The page does not diagnose a live item, use recipient-phone tracking, collect SMS or QR credentials, identify a recipient, redirect a shipment, extend storage, change COD or recipient data, request return, clear customs, file a search or claim, retrieve private proof, issue a merchant refund, or guarantee delivery.
