Track a UniUni package
Use the shipment number supplied by UniUni, the merchant's delivery record, or the carrier currently responsible for the next scan.
Current UniUni Platform documentation describes two native 19-character identifier families:
URfollowed by 17 digits;URBfollowed by 16 digits.
URB is documented as a batch tracking ID. It must not automatically be treated as one consumer parcel. These documented formats also do not prove that every older, marketplace, consolidator, or partner-issued identifier follows the same pattern.
Do not substitute:
- a store or marketplace order number unless it is explicitly identified as the carrier tracking number;
- a customer account number;
- a support case number;
- a delivery postal or ZIP code;
- a redelivery request reference;
- a claim or return reference;
- a recipient name, telephone number, email address, or street address.
When a merchant displays more than one number, preserve both. The upstream number may describe the international or consolidator leg, while another identifier may become active when UniUni or a transfer carrier controls the next stage.
For UniUni's own protected delivery-confirmation view, use the official UniUni tracking page. UniUni may request the destination postal or ZIP code before showing delivery confirmation. Do not enter that verification information into an unrelated tracker or message link.
UniUni at a glance
UniUni is the public brand used by Uni Express Inc. Its current service material focuses on ecommerce delivery in Canada and the United States.
A shipment can involve several systems before a UniUni driver receives a local route:
merchant or marketplace
→ fulfilment warehouse or consolidator
→ partner location or pickup
→ UniUni hub and gateway network
→ local UniUni warehouse
→ driver assignment
→ active delivery task
→ delivery, failed attempt, storage, or return
A UniUni tracking event proves only what the named event records. It does not establish that UniUni controlled the entire international route, customs process, merchant fulfilment stage, or later transfer-carrier leg.
UniUni also offers a commercial Platform for merchants and small-business account holders. Label purchase, pickups, drop-offs, add-ons, claims, and account terms in that Platform are not automatically the rights or obligations of an ordinary recipient.
Which UniUni event proves physical receipt?
UniUni's status model separates shipment data, partner possession, and UniUni-hub possession.
| Event | What it confirms | What it does not confirm |
|---|---|---|
DRAFT | A shipment record was created in the Platform | Payment, label purchase, pickup, drop-off, or carrier possession |
PENDING | The label was printed and paid; the shipment is waiting for pickup or partner drop-off | Physical receipt by a partner or UniUni |
PARTNER_RECEIVED | The package was recorded at a partner location or pickup/drop-off point | Receipt at a UniUni hub |
PICKED_UP | The package was recorded as being picked up from the partner location | Arrival at the next UniUni facility |
RECEIVED | The package was recorded at a UniUni hub | Continuous movement, local driver assignment, or an immediate delivery promise |
The practical possession ladder is:
DRAFT / PENDING
→ shipment data or paid label
PARTNER_RECEIVED
→ recorded partner-location possession
PICKED_UP
→ recorded movement from that partner context
RECEIVED
→ recorded receipt at a UniUni hub
RECEIVED is the strongest early public UniUni event in this sequence. It still does not reveal a live shelf location, prove the parcel's contents or condition, or guarantee when the next scan will appear.
UniUni's consumer guidance says an estimated delivery date appears after UniUni physically receives the package. The precise visible label and timing can differ across merchant, partner, and carrier integrations, so use the exact event history rather than treating any estimate as proof of possession.
For the general distinction between a purchased label and carrier possession, see What Does “Label Created” Mean? and Carrier Received Package.
UniUni tracking status meanings
UniUni's technical status reference exposes more operational detail than a broad parent label such as *In Transit*. A merchant or tracking platform may display simpler wording, so compare the normalized status with the exact UniUni event when both are available.
Shipment creation and first-mile events
| UniUni status | Code | Meaning | Critical boundary |
|---|---|---|---|
DRAFT | 180 | Shipment record created; label not printed and payment not completed | No physical shipment event |
PENDING | 181 | Label printed and paid; awaiting pickup or partner drop-off | Paid label is not possession |
PENDING_REVIEW | 182 | Shipment requires manual Platform review | The final operational outcome is still unresolved |
CANCELLED | 183 | Shipment cancelled by the user or system | Does not prove a physical parcel was recovered or a merchant refund was issued |
PICKUP_REQUESTED | 184 | A pickup request is being made | A request is not a completed pickup |
PICKUP_CANCELLED | 185 | The pickup was cancelled | Does not necessarily cancel the underlying order, refund, or merchandise transaction |
PARTNER_RECEIVED | 186 | Package received at a partner location, including supported pickup/drop-off contexts | Partner receipt is not UniUni-hub receipt |
PICKED_UP | 187 | Package being picked up from the partner location | The next UniUni facility scan may still be pending |
RECEIVED | 191 | Package received at a UniUni hub | Possession does not equal immediate delivery |
Gateway and local-network events
| UniUni status | Code | Meaning | Critical boundary |
|---|---|---|---|
GATEWAY_TRANSIT_OUT | 195 | Package sent toward the local UniUni warehouse for delivery | Not yet a driver assignment |
GATEWAY_TO_GATEWAY_TRANSIT | 196 | Package moving between gateway or warehouse stages | Not continuous GPS |
GATEWAY_TRANSIT | 199 | Package scanned at a warehouse | A warehouse event does not necessarily mean it is moving on a vehicle |
TRANSSHIPMENT_COMPLETE | 217 | A facility-to-facility transshipment was recorded as complete | Does not prove local delivery readiness |
IN_TRANSIT | 202 | Broad transit status | The exact earlier and later events determine the real stage |
A warehouse or gateway scan is an event recorded by the logistics system. It is not a live map, does not disclose the package's exact physical position between scans, and does not guarantee a fixed interval before the next event.
Driver assignment and delivery route
| UniUni status | Code | Meaning | Critical boundary |
|---|---|---|---|
PARCEL_SCANNED | 200 | The delivery task was assigned to a driver | Assignment is not necessarily the current active delivery task |
OUT_FOR_DELIVERY | 201 | The shipment is the driver's current active delivery task | Does not guarantee successful delivery that day |
DELIVERED | 203 | UniUni recorded delivery completion | Does not automatically prove personal receipt, correct location, or correct contents |
This is one of the most important UniUni distinctions:
PARCEL_SCANNED
= delivery task assigned to a driver
OUT_FOR_DELIVERY
= shipment is the driver's current active task
A simplified tracker may display both under an out-for-delivery family. The exact UniUni event provides the stronger interpretation.
Exceptions, failed attempts, storage, and returns
| UniUni status | Code | Meaning | Critical boundary |
|---|---|---|---|
SHIPMENT_EXCEPTION | 209 | A delivery exception was recorded, with possible reasons such as an address or recipient problem | The parent status does not identify the correct action without the detailed reason |
FAILED | 231 | A delivery attempt was recorded as unsuccessful | The attempt number or reason may still be unclear |
FAILED_DELIVERY1 | 232 | First failed delivery attempt | Not the final delivery outcome |
FAILED_DELIVERY2 | 233 | Second failed delivery attempt | Does not by itself prove permanent return to the merchant |
STORAGE | — | Package temporarily stored pending further processing | Storage is actionable; it is not a loss determination |
RETURNED | 230 | Package returned to a merchant or return hub | Does not confirm merchant inspection, refund approval, or refund completion |
Why is UniUni tracking not updating?
The safest interpretation depends on the last confirmed event.
Only DRAFT or PENDING
The public record confirms shipment creation or a paid label, not physical receipt. Ask the merchant or shipper whether the package was handed to a partner or UniUni and whether another carrier number applies.
PARTNER_RECEIVED with no later UniUni event
A partner location recorded the package, but UniUni-hub receipt is not yet visible. The merchant or shipping partner may have more information about the first-mile transfer.
RECEIVED or a gateway event with no later scan
UniUni has recorded a stronger network event. A scan gap does not identify the cause or prove loss. Compare the latest estimate, event detail, weekends, and any exception wording. Use the Tracking Not Updating guide when the record remains silent beyond the shipment's current expectation.
One number stopped, another appeared
The package may have moved from a merchant, consolidator, or upstream carrier record into a UniUni or transfer-carrier record. Preserve both numbers and identify which carrier published the most recent item-level event.
A missing event cannot prove that the opposite physical event did not happen. A delayed scan or limited integration can expose only part of the underlying route.
`PARCEL_SCANNED` versus `OUT_FOR_DELIVERY`
These statuses should not be treated as synonyms.
PARCEL_SCANNED
UniUni defines this as the delivery task being assigned to a driver. The package is associated with a driver workflow, but the record does not necessarily say it is the driver's current active stop or task.
OUT_FOR_DELIVERY
UniUni defines this as the shipment being the driver's current active delivery task. This is stronger evidence that final delivery is being attempted from the local route.
Neither event guarantees delivery that day. Route sequence, access, address information, building entry, weather, capacity, a failed attempt, or another exception can change the outcome.
When OUT_FOR_DELIVERY ends without delivery, use the exact next event. A failed attempt, address exception, facility return, or renewed route event leads to a different action. See Out for Delivery but Not Delivered for the full cross-carrier decision process.
Failed delivery, storage, redelivery, and pickup
UniUni publishes a carrier-specific attempt sequence. Preserve the qualifiers because the sequence is operational guidance, not an unconditional service guarantee.
First failed delivery attempt
After FAILED_DELIVERY1, UniUni says a reattempt occurs within 48 hours in most circumstances. UniUni's consumer guidance says no action is normally required unless the address or delivery details need correction.
Use this branch:
FAILED_DELIVERY1
→ check the exact reason
→ correct address, unit, buzzer, gate, or telephone details if necessary
→ otherwise watch for the next route event
“In most circumstances” must remain part of the timing rule. It is not a guaranteed 48-hour deadline for every package, region, weekend, exception, or route.
Second failed delivery attempt
UniUni says that after FAILED_DELIVERY2, the package returns to a UniUni warehouse. A later STORAGE event can require the recipient to contact support to arrange redelivery.
FAILED_DELIVERY2
→ warehouse return
→ watch for STORAGE or another exact event
→ use official support for redelivery instructions
Do not assume that a second failure means the package has already been permanently returned to the merchant.
STORAGE
STORAGE means the package is temporarily held pending further processing. UniUni currently states that a package may remain in warehouse storage for 30 days. This is a volatile carrier rule, not a universal legal or service guarantee.
Contact official UniUni support promptly when the record shows STORAGE. Support must confirm whether redelivery, correction, pickup, return, or another branch is available for that specific package.
Can I pick up a UniUni package?
Do not travel to a UniUni facility based only on a warehouse or storage status.
UniUni currently describes consumer pickup as available only in Canada and only in select cities, including Montreal, Toronto, and North York. Other Canadian locations and U.S. shipments may require redelivery instead. Eligibility, location, identity requirements, and operating access must be confirmed through official support before travel.
A warehouse scan does not equal *Available for Pickup*. Use pickup only after UniUni explicitly confirms readiness and location for the specific package.
Address, apartment, gate code, and PO Box problems
UniUni directs recipients to its official support chatbot for address details and delivery instructions, including information such as:
- apartment or unit number;
- building entrance details;
- buzzer or intercom code;
- gate or access code;
- telephone number;
- concierge or reception instructions;
- an eligible safe-drop preference.
A submitted note is an instruction request. It does not prove that:
- the address was changed successfully;
- the package is eligible for the requested option;
- the driver saw the note;
- an already-active route was updated;
- the driver can override service restrictions.
UniUni warns that changes made after OUT_FOR_DELIVERY may not reach the driver in time.
before OUT_FOR_DELIVERY
→ submit corrections immediately through official support
already OUT_FOR_DELIVERY
→ submit the correction
→ do not assume the active driver received it
→ watch for the next delivery or exception event
UniUni says it does not deliver to post offices or PO boxes. A USPS PO Box or an incorrect address can cause a rejected delivery attempt. Use official support rather than sending an address, buzzer code, identity document, or access credential to an unsolicited message sender.
For the broader decision process, see Wrong Address or Address Information Required.
Delivered, proof-of-delivery photos, signature, and PIN
What DELIVERED confirms
DELIVERED confirms that UniUni's system recorded a completed delivery outcome.
It does not automatically prove that:
- the named recipient personally received the package;
- the photographed property is the intended address;
- the package remained secure after placement;
- a neighbour, concierge, mailroom, or other person was authorised;
- a signature or PIN was required or used;
- the shipment contents were correct and undamaged.
The correct question is not only “Does tracking say Delivered?” It is also:
What evidence is attached to this delivery record, which service was used, and does the evidence match the destination?
How to view UniUni delivery confirmation
UniUni instructs recipients to use its official tracking page:
- enter the UniUni tracking number;
- select View Delivery Confirmation;
- enter the destination postal or ZIP code when requested.
Delivery photos may be available for a completed record. The protected postal/ZIP step helps restrict access to shipment evidence; it should not be reproduced by 11Tracking or entered into an unrelated website.
What a delivery photo proves
A UniUni photo can provide useful carrier-recorded evidence of where or how a package was placed. Its value depends on what the image actually shows.
A photo does not automatically prove:
- the address in the image is correct;
- the parcel remained there;
- the named recipient collected it;
- the person shown was authorised;
- the package contents were intact;
- a dispute is resolved.
UniUni's commercial service material describes proof-of-delivery photography, while its consumer guidance qualifies photo access with “if available.” Do not expect a fixed number of visible images for every shipment.
Canada Delivery Verification
For an eligible Canada shipment using UniUni's optional Delivery Verification add-on, current official documentation says:
- the driver must physically hand the package to the recipient before completion;
- confirmation can use a signature;
- PIN is available on select routes;
- unattended safe drop is not permitted.
This can be stronger evidence than an ordinary unattended delivery photo. It applies only when the add-on was enabled and available for that shipment and route.
United States limitation
Current UniUni documentation says Delivery PIN Verification is available for Canada shipments only and is not currently available for U.S. shipments. This is a very volatile product limitation and should be verified again before relying on it.
Do not infer signature or PIN use merely from DELIVERED. The tracking record or delivery confirmation must show the relevant proof object.
UniUni says Delivered, but the package is missing
Start with the UniUni record before opening a broader dispute.
- Confirm that the final event is actually
DELIVERED, notOUT_FOR_DELIVERY,FAILED,STORAGE, orRETURNED. - Open UniUni's official tracking page and review delivery confirmation or photos where available.
- Compare the image, entrance, unit, porch, lobby, mailroom, and building surroundings with the destination.
- Ask household members, neighbours, concierge, reception, security, property management, or mailroom staff.
- Preserve screenshots of the event history and available proof without publishing the tracking number, address, postal code, or photo publicly.
- Use UniUni's official support route when the evidence appears inconsistent.
- Contact the merchant when replacement, refund, buyer protection, or a carrier-contract investigation is required.
A wrong-looking photo is evidence to investigate. It is not, by itself, proof of theft, driver misconduct, merchant fraud, or the final legal outcome.
Use Delivered but Package Not Received for the complete evidence-preservation and recovery sequence.
Damage, missing contents, returns, and claims
The responsible party changes with the problem.
| Problem | First useful action | Important boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Outer package is visibly damaged | Photograph the outside, label, internal packing, contents, and damaged item; use official UniUni support and notify the merchant | Damage evidence does not guarantee reimbursement or identify the final claimant |
| Item is missing or the wrong item was packed | Contact the merchant, seller, or vendor | The carrier does not verify what the merchant placed inside a sealed package |
| You want to return merchandise | Follow the merchant's return policy and authorised return method | Do not send a consumer return to an ordinary UniUni warehouse without merchant instructions |
Tracking shows RETURNED | Follow the carrier record and ask the merchant which return stage is complete | RETURNED does not prove merchant inspection, refund approval, or refund completion |
| You want a carrier claim | Identify the shipment's contract party, protection, and eligibility | The recipient is not automatically the carrier account holder or eligible claimant |
Damaged package
UniUni tells recipients to preserve photographs of the damaged package and contents and submit the tracking number, contact details, and evidence through its official support chatbot. The merchant may also need to act because it controls the sale, replacement, packaging record, and often the carrier contract.
Do not discard:
- the outer package;
- the shipping label;
- seals and tape;
- internal packing material;
- the damaged item;
- purchase and delivery records.
See Package Damaged or Contents Missing for the full evidence workflow.
Missing or incorrect contents
UniUni's consumer guidance routes missing or incorrect items to the merchant, seller, or vendor.
package delivered
≠ carrier verified what the merchant packed
A Delivered event can coexist with a merchant fulfilment error, concealed damage, tampering allegation, or incomplete order. The tracking page cannot determine which occurred.
Merchandise returns
The merchant controls whether a return is authorised, which label or carrier should be used, where it should go, and when a refund becomes due. A UniUni warehouse is not automatically a public returns counter.
Commercial Platform claims and Parcel Protection
UniUni's Small Business Terms apply to commercial Platform users, not automatically to every recipient. UniUni Platform also describes optional Parcel Protection powered by EasyPost for eligible shipments. It must be added before the package reaches RECEIVED and uses a separate protected-shipment claim process.
This does not mean every UniUni package is insured or that any recipient can file directly. Prices, limits, exclusions, documentation, and claim windows are commercial and volatile. A recipient who did not purchase the shipment should normally ask the merchant or account holder which remedy applies.
Partner carriers and second tracking numbers
UniUni can be the final-mile carrier for a shipment that began with a merchant, marketplace, consolidator, or another logistics provider. In other workflows, technical integrations can expose a transfer-carrier name and another tracking ID.
The safe model is:
merchant or upstream number
→ describes an earlier order or transport leg
UniUni number
→ describes a UniUni-attributed shipment record
transfer-carrier number
→ may describe a later or separate operator leg
A second number does not make the first number fake. It also does not prove that every UniUni route has a handoff.
UniUni markets a specific U.S.-to-Canada cross-border product as a one-provider service with no handoffs. That description belongs to the named product. It must not be generalized to all domestic, international, marketplace, partner, or transfer-carrier shipments.
Do not assume that UniUni always hands packages to USPS, Canada Post, or any other named carrier. Identify the operator from the latest attributable event, official carrier link, or verified secondary number.
When one record stops updating:
- preserve every tracking number;
- identify which carrier published the latest item-level event;
- check whether a destination or transfer number has become active;
- use the current carrier for operational questions;
- use the merchant when number mapping or contractual escalation is unclear.
See Handed to Local Carrier, Find the Last-Mile Carrier, and How International Package Tracking Works.
Who should you contact?
| Situation | Best first contact | Why |
|---|---|---|
Only DRAFT or PENDING appears | Merchant, seller, or shipper | Physical handoff has not been confirmed by the visible UniUni record |
| Package is at a partner location with no UniUni-hub event | Merchant or partner workflow; UniUni support when the official record identifies UniUni action | The partner-to-UniUni transfer may still be incomplete or not visible |
RECEIVED, gateway, driver, or attempt event appears | UniUni official support for operational questions | UniUni has published an attributable network or delivery event |
| Address, apartment, buzzer, gate, or telephone detail is wrong | UniUni official support immediately | Only the carrier workflow can attempt the delivery-detail update; timing and eligibility vary |
STORAGE appears | UniUni official support | Redelivery or pickup must be confirmed for that package and location |
| Delivered evidence appears wrong | UniUni support, then merchant where replacement/refund or contractual escalation is needed | Carrier evidence and commercial remedy are separate |
| Contents are missing or incorrect | Merchant, seller, or vendor | The merchant controls fulfilment and the sale |
| You want to return an item | Merchant or seller | Return authorisation and refund are merchant processes |
| A different carrier or second number is active | Carrier publishing the latest item-level event | Operational control may have moved |
| You need a carrier claim but did not buy the label | Merchant or shipping account holder | Claim rights commonly depend on the carrier contract or optional protection |
Use Who to Contact About a Package when the correct actor remains unclear.
Privacy and suspicious UniUni messages
A real UniUni tracking number can be copied into a fraudulent text or email. A valid number does not authenticate the sender, link, fee request, or payment page.
Use only UniUni's official tracker and support pages for:
- tracking;
- delivery confirmation;
- postal or ZIP verification;
- address or access corrections;
- redelivery;
- damage reporting;
- support chat.
Do not send an unsolicited message sender:
- your full address;
- postal or ZIP code used for proof access;
- apartment, buzzer, gate, or alarm code;
- identity document;
- card information;
- bank credentials;
- marketplace password;
- one-time verification code;
- delivery photo;
- claim documents.
11Tracking does not need those details to display a supported public tracking history.
Treat urgency, threats of immediate destruction or return, unexpected small fees, shortened links, mismatched domains, and requests for card or login information as reasons to stop and verify independently. See Fake Delivery Message for the complete safety process.
Use USTracking as a tracking companion
USTracking can help organise supported public shipment records and make later tracking updates easier to follow. It can observe public events that the connected carrier source makes available.
It cannot:
- create a missing UniUni scan;
- reveal a live driver location;
- access protected delivery confirmation without the official verification process;
- change an address or gate code;
- arrange redelivery or pickup;
- contact a driver or warehouse;
- authenticate a delivery message;
- file a claim or merchant return;
- guarantee an arrival date or recovery.
Use UniUni or the merchant for actions on the physical shipment.

Frequently asked questions
What does PENDING mean on UniUni?
PENDING means the label was printed and paid and the shipment is waiting for pickup or drop-off at a partner location. It does not confirm physical possession by a partner or UniUni.
What is the difference between PARTNER_RECEIVED and RECEIVED?
PARTNER_RECEIVED records receipt at a partner location or supported pickup/drop-off context. RECEIVED records receipt at a UniUni hub. These are different possession stages.
Does PARCEL_SCANNED mean Out for Delivery?
No. UniUni defines PARCEL_SCANNED as assignment of the delivery task to a driver. OUT_FOR_DELIVERY means the shipment is the driver's current active delivery task.
Does Out for Delivery guarantee delivery today?
No. It is strong evidence of an active final-delivery task, but access, route conditions, address issues, capacity, or another exception can prevent completion.
How long after the first failed attempt will UniUni try again?
UniUni says a reattempt occurs within 48 hours in most circumstances. This is not an unconditional guarantee. Correct any delivery details immediately and watch the exact next event.
What does STORAGE mean?
It means the package is temporarily held pending further processing. Contact official UniUni support to confirm redelivery, correction, pickup, or return options. It does not mean the package is automatically lost.
How long does UniUni keep a package in storage?
UniUni currently states that a package may remain in warehouse storage for 30 days. This rule can change and does not replace shipment-specific instructions from support.
Can I pick up a UniUni package from a warehouse?
Only when UniUni confirms the package is eligible and ready. Current consumer pickup guidance is limited to select Canadian cities. A warehouse or storage scan alone is not pickup authorisation.
Does UniUni deliver to PO boxes?
UniUni says it does not deliver to post offices or PO boxes. A USPS PO Box or incorrect address can cause a rejected attempt.
How do I view UniUni proof of delivery?
Use the official UniUni tracking page, select View Delivery Confirmation, and enter the destination postal or ZIP code when requested. Photos are available only where attached to the shipment record.
Does a UniUni delivery photo prove I received the package?
No. It is evidence attached to the carrier's completed-delivery record. It does not automatically prove the correct address, personal receipt, continued security, correct contents, or the final dispute outcome.
Does UniUni require a signature or PIN?
Not for every package. Eligible Canada shipments using the optional Delivery Verification add-on can require direct handoff with signature or, on select routes, PIN. Current documentation says PIN verification is not available for U.S. shipments.
Why do I have two tracking numbers?
A merchant, consolidator, UniUni, or transfer carrier can publish a number for its own leg. Preserve both and use the number belonging to the carrier currently publishing the newest item-level events.
Does RETURNED mean my refund is complete?
No. It means UniUni recorded return to a merchant or return hub. Merchant receipt, inspection, refund approval, and payment are separate stages.
Who handles missing or wrong contents?
Contact the merchant, seller, or vendor. Tracking can confirm delivery events, but it cannot verify what was packed inside the package.
Can I file a UniUni claim as the recipient?
Not automatically. Eligibility can depend on the merchant or Platform account, the shipment contract, and whether optional protection was purchased. Ask the merchant or shipping account holder which party can file.
